Looks like 40k isn’t happening, but I’m still happy that it’s likely to make it to 35k given that this was my initial hope/prediction! I think it’s pretty good sales for an album that has arrived only a year after her previous one (so no comeback hype), with no big hits to its name. I’d be very (pleasantly) surprised if K18 comes in 2025 or even in early 2026. I feel like after the tour is completed she’ll want a reasonably long break before she thinks of starting a new album cycle.

The vocals for this album would have been recorded waaaay before September! ~~~ Finally received the Gemini, Island and Diamond CDs today. They look cute, but definitely overpriced for what they are. I should have some more restraint! The 3 picture cards have the credits on them, in lieu of a booklet. In terms of size there's some inconsistency between the cards across my 3 CDs - maybe a manufacturing error.

No surprise, but it wasn’t Top 100 in the midweeks yesterday. I’ll wait for this to reduce in price :whistle: Interesting thing about this variant (to me x) is that the back cover has been updated to show the EMI logo. The 2016 black/2019 white versions had the Virgin logo.

Release date is 31st October, hopefully it’ll be shipped in advance, but I have no previous experience of ordering from The Vinyl Factory! Seeing as Tension II doesn’t have the proper version of the song, I wish it was on the Edge of Saturday Night vinyl, but unfortunately not. :( It does have the Extended version though which will presumably have the correct mix.

Also voted 5x Nathan! Every time him and Baked Potato are on screen, I recoil. So insufferable. I liked Rosie to begin with :( Get him out!!

Imo Dance Alone sounds better following Shoulda Left Ya on the vinyl, than it does following Midnight Ride on the other track list. Honestly I don't think Midnight Ride really warrants a place on the album, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Take it away and I think the vinyl track list would flow quite well, better than the streaming version tbh where the collabs all feel random at the end.

I'm not sure about that because I don't have her physicals, but The Blessed Madonna's album on streaming is the usual version of the song - and that's the version that Tension II's streaming album links too. I'd assume Tension II download has the usual version. The mix sounds like a rougher version on the Tension II vinyl - it's missing elements of the production, so it sounds a bit more basic/bare. Edit: My Oh My sounds good as the album opener on the vinyl, and makes it seem less random than its Track 11 placing. Midnight Ride as Track 7 sounds completely out of place though! :lol:

Wait- Edge of Saturday Night's mix on the vinyl (and apparently the CD too) is different to the normal version :o

Hmmph, someone's given Tension II a 1 star review on Amazon because they're not happy about Amazon's shipping speed. 🤦🏻‍♂️ It's meant to be a review about the product!!

That leaves me wondering why a 2:34 song was in need of an edit! Unless it's the production that's altered :thinking: (Side note but it also reminds me of the Dancefloor Darling radio edit which never leaked :( )

So happy that Brat finally made it to UK #1 So deserved! I received my vinyl on Thursday, and I've just got around to playing it now. For the most part it sounds excellent (there's a few pops at the start of Everything is romantic original but otherwise nothing too bad). Having to split the sticker seal was not good for my OCD, but it had to be done
