The Pop Factor: Season 1 • The Solo Women Auditions
1 Christina Aguilera - Genie In a Bottle (fave) 2 Rina Sawayama - This Hell 3 Ellie Goulding - Burn 4 Avril Lavigne - Nobody’s Home 5 Mary J. Blige - Be Without You 6 Addison Rae - Aquamarine 7 SASAMI - Honeycrash xx Louise - Borderline (For me personally, I don't think I gain anything out of remaining anonymous, I'm happy for people to know I'm repping Louise and I hope she's enjoyed! Sending a new and largely unknown song of hers was probably a risky decision, but get that promo Louise xx) Found it a little difficult to rank songs that I've known and loved for a long time, in comparison to a newer song (Aquamarine - bop!) and a song I'd never previously heard but enjoyed (Honeycrash). That's the first SASAMI song I've ever heard. Will be interested to hear more if she progresses, or even if she doesn't, so thanks for the discovery whoever sent her!

🥇 Buzzjack Multichart #1s: 2006-Present
Hard to believe those songs are fast approaching 20 years old! 2006 era BuzzJack was before I joined but most of these songs were hits in my chart too (Red Dress was #1 for 6 weeks in my chart )

The Pop Factor: Season 1 • The Solo Women Auditions
Is there a reason why anonymity is wanted by some? What is gained from that?
-
The Pop Factor: Season 1 • The Golden Wagner RESULTS
Some of the artists I’m not overly familiar with (apart from their biggest hits) so this’ll be interesting to hear more from them!

Chloe Qisha - Modern Romance
- OCC: Celine Dion's Most Streamed Songs
I was surprised that It's All Coming Back to Me Now is first place, but I'm not sure I realised that it had had a viral moment! It's one of my favourites so I'm happy to see it! Love to see I'm Alive doing so well. A #17 peak in 2002, and not ending up in the Top 200 best sellers of that year (which meant it sold under 48k) was an injustice... even though the album was of course very successful. I'm Alive has come so far in the streaming era, as mentioned Platinum last year (25th October 2024). It didn't even go Silver until 24th April 2020, then Gold on 11th November 2022, so that's pretty impressive! It could pass 1 million units by 2028.- The Saturdays
With these 3 singles being so close together in sales, it makes me wonder which one sells the most each week! Perhaps All Fired Up could soon end up going from being their 7th best seller to 5th, if it happens to be doing more than Issues and Just Can't Get Enough!- The Saturdays
omg all these certifications, it's like buses, all coming along at once- Britney Spears - Oops!... I Did It Again
Oh and justice for Stronger (WIP Remix) which is sadly left off the remix EP! Seems it might have been overlooked because it was a remix for the UK market.- The Saturdays
^ Sadly it's been many years since the last sales updates for any of them! I wish we could know, it would be very interesting to see what their sales are like with streaming. 115,000 - If This Is Love (January 2012) 101,000 - Work (January 2012) 77,632 - 30 Days (July 2012) 54,699 - My Heart Takes Over (July 2012) 53,300 - Gentleman (August 2013 - as of its 6th week in the top 200) 30,059 - Not Giving Up (May 2014 - as of its 4th week in the top 200, including sales sold as an album download prior to the single charting) 9,982 - What Are You Waiting For? (August 2014 - its first week sales) Spotify stream counts (just album versions and single versions, not including remixes/acoustic etc): 13,273,554 - My Heart Takes Over (11,479,246 - Album Version / 1,794,308 - Radio Edit) 9,138,249 - Not Giving Up (8,135,840 - Album Version / 1,002,409 - Radio Mix) 4,854,104 - 30 Days 4,758,453 - Work (Phil Tan Radio Mix + Album Version combined) 3,484,563 - If This Is Love (1,807,231 - Radio Edit / 1,677,332 - Album Version) 3,460,659 - Gentleman 2,732,047 - What Are You Waiting For? That's impressive for My Heart Takes Over, but with fairly low pure sales, it's quite a mountain to climb for it to reach silver! On paper maybe it would be If This Is Love, as the one that achieved the most pure sales, but it isn't streaming very well. 😭- The Saturdays
Issues went gold a week earlier than Just Can't Get Enough!- Britney Spears - Oops!... I Did It Again
25 years ❤️ I remember my parents getting me the CD some time in its week of release. It was a more instant album for me than her debut. Certainly one of the most defining albums of 2000 for me (and of my youth overall really, I played it so often). I'm making my way through the remix EPs at the moment, many of the mixes I haven't heard before! Lucky - "Riprock 'n' Alex G." and Stronger - "Pablo La Rosa's Tranceformation" are two favourites so far. It's also cool to hear the "Music Breakdown Mix" of Oops (spoken word section is gone, replaced with some additional instrumental).- 2025 BPI Certifications
Real to Me tends to do around 1,500 to 2,000 a day on Spotify! - OCC: Celine Dion's Most Streamed Songs
