  1. Thrilled for Jade! Top 3 is highly deserved! I don't think I'd commented yet on how I feel about the album, but in short I think it's such a triumph! I don't think there's any weak spots on the album, literally every song holds my attention and I'm still eager to play it from front to back. I will say that Glitch in particular has grown on me so much over the week! That really crept up on me, what a bop. I think the absolute gem of the album is Self Saboteur.
  2. :jonny: Forever and always a cheeseblock to us
  3. Yep this is how I think of it Or if it's something I think is a slay, or I'm shook but in all cases for me it skews positive. Which is funny because the actual character is called Negative Man!
  4. positions the smash that you are
  5. HUNTR/X are smashing it I'll update the thread asap
  6. There's potential that it might be a little different - the version coming on the 20th Anniversary track list is 4:19, but what was uploaded to YouTube a few years ago is 4:35!
  7. Just one more week to go until the Chemistry reissue! So excited to hear Naked in the Shower, You Go Too Fast and Watch Me Go (We're Disco).
  8. Jessie J’s sixth studio album ‘Don’t Tease Me With A Good Time’ - her first in nearly eight years - is a bold kaleidoscope of emotions, capturing the raw highs and lows of the last decade. Recorded over the past five years in Los Angeles, the album is emotional, unfiltered, and unapologetic, it’s music that wears its heart on its sleeve and demands to be felt at full volume. The 16-track album includes standout singles ‘Believe In Magic’, the deeply personal ‘No Secrets’, and the euphoric anthem ‘Living My Best Life’, teasing the album’s broad sound and subject matter. The album closes with the power-ballad ‘The Award Goes To’, which Jessie J gave a showstopping live performance of earlier this year at the BAFTA Television Awards.

Unless Jade and Twenty One Pilots are able to sell at least 6k each today, which doesn't strike me as being likely, then I don't think it would be possible for Sabrina to remain at #4 on Friday.

Here's a list of the #1 albums from this year that twenty one pilots have outsold so far, while Jade has currently outsold all of these bar Morgan Wallen: Date order: 09-Jan 15,606 Ed Sheeran - +–=÷× (TOUR COLLECTION) 16-Jan 14,759 Elton John - Diamonds 23-Jan 10,191 Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess 13-Mar 17,761 Sabrina Carpenter - Short n' Sweet 24-Apr 16,412 Those Damn Crows - God Shaped Hole 15-May 13,870 Pink Floyd - Pink Floyd at Pompeii - MCMLXXII 29-May 19,474 Morgan Wallen - I'm the Problem 05-Jun 9,684 Sabrina Carpenter - Short n' Sweet 12-Jun 9,908 Ed Sheeran - +-=÷× (Tour Collection) 26-Jun 14,528 James Marriott - Don't Tell the Dog 10-Jul 18,848 Lorde - Virgin 14-Aug 15,643 Reneé Rapp - BITE ME 21-Aug 15,074 Oasis - Time Flies... 1994-2009 Sales order: 29-May 19,474 Morgan Wallen - I'm the Problem 10-Jul 18,848 Lorde - Virgin 13-Mar 17,761 Sabrina Carpenter - Short n' Sweet 24-Apr 16,412 Those Damn Crows - God Shaped Hole 14-Aug 15,643 Reneé Rapp - BITE ME 09-Jan 15,606 Ed Sheeran - +–=÷× (TOUR COLLECTION) 21-Aug 15,074 Oasis - Time Flies... 1994-2009 16-Jan 14,759 Elton John - Diamonds 26-Jun 14,528 James Marriott - Don't Tell the Dog 15-May 13,870 Pink Floyd - Pink Floyd at Pompeii - MCMLXXII 23-Jan 10,191 Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess 12-Jun 9,908 Ed Sheeran - +-=÷× (Tour Collection) 05-Jun 9,684 Sabrina Carpenter - Short n' Sweet A moot point of course because at the end of the day, both artists/their labels chose this week. Also they wouldn't necessarily have sold as much if they'd released in previous weeks.

Oh yes of course! I forgot about that 😆 TØP securing #3 does seem like the most likely outcome to me. Can't wait to find out tomorrow!

Sabrina absolutely has #2 on lock, so this is all about who can make it to #3! I wish we knew the breakdown in how these sales are being achieved. Judging by Twenty One Pilots' past albums I assume they are doing far better on streaming than Jade's album. So it's likely a case of Jade selling more physicals but only just about managing to keep up with TØP's daily updates. If streaming is to TØP's advantage, then I guess Jade would have to have a particularly terrific day of pure sales today, to overcome them in Friday's chart. Whoever ends up at #4 will have the somewhat dubious honour of highest #4 sales of the year (previous best selling #4 - 15,271), and there's a good chance that the #3 will as well (highest selling #3 this year = 20,746). I'm surprised neither TØP nor Jade have slashed the prices of their downloads (£7.99 and £8.99 respectively).

Ed’s never been a critical darling! The reviews for Play are par for the course. Metacritic: 67 + (9 reviews) 67 x (20 reviews) 65 - (14 reviews) 62 ÷ (17 reviews) 62 Autumn Variations (6 reviews) 61 Play (4 reviews) 59 = (13 reviews) 57 No 6 Collaborations Project (14 reviews) All of these are yellow numbers, denoting “mixed or average reviews”.

Week by Week Stats 2025 ^ If anyone wants to know a summary of every Top 10 sales figure from this year, that's the thread! Currently the highest #3 sales figure this year is 20,746. UK #1 Albums in 2025 - First Week Sales Breakdown / Chart Run Comparisons The most downloads in a week this year - for a #1 album at least - is 5,895 for Those Damn Crows. So Ed has smashed that! Interestingly Play has already outsold Subtract's first week download sales, which were 7,792. Sales comparisions: "=" vs "-" vs "Autumn Variations"

Top 200 chart still exists for albums! It is curious that OCC gives additional weeks info in some but not all charts though.
  19. Lol after all my campaigning to get nominations for the 2016 thread, I didn’t get around to actually voting. I-
  20. Welllllll overdue! I love funkos so I would have to get these. Wouldn't be surprised if the look of them all matches the Lego outfits but it would be nice if they're a little more inventive with the looks... but I can't see Geri having anything other than the union jack dress, indeed. Unless Geri has suggested a lovely white jeans and cream cardigan outfit? x
  21. Very much looking forward to diving in, and I hope others who aren’t unfamiliar with Conan will take part. Lots of amazing tracks for you to discover!
  22. The previous formats are technically all "deleted" now (they're not available anymore). So the new 7" format should count to its sales without problems. Also there were four formats - CD, Cassette, 7" and 12"! I think OCC can change up which formats count towards a single.
  23. Annoyed that my Amazon signed CD hasn't dispatched yet... I pre-ordered that on 14th May and they can't even ship it out on release date? 😕
