  1. I'm really impressed with the album! Even with a couple of listens, it's definitely already in my Top 5 favourite albums by Melanie. I think my early highlight is Flick of the Wrist, and Drum Machine is a great single choice.

Sunday album midweeks according to someone reliable on Spice Circle facebook group: #1 - 12,800 - Kneecap (1,306 ahead) #2 - 11,500 - Melanie C
  3. 11.5k is absolutely terrific for her at this stage, omg!!
  4. So special to see the Mels together They both belong up there on that stage! Give us your third album Mel B!!
  5. Hmm I think that's just a funny coincidence - the spines of the CDs and Cassettes are MELANIE C as they should be.

    Also looked back on Kacey's first week sales: 8,341 - Deeper Well (#3 in March 2024) 7,284 - Pageant Material (#11 in June 2015) 7,001 - Star-Crossed (#10 in September 2021) 6,376 - Golden Hour (#6 in April 2018) 2,634 - Same Trailer Different Park (#39 in April 2013)

Melanie said at a gig last night "I've sold more with this album than I have done in decades"! Melanie's first week sales: 30,876 - Reason (#5 in March 2003) 17,773 - Northern Star (#10 in October 1999) [eventually peaked at #4 in August 2000] 8,970 - Beautiful Intentions (#24 in April 2005) 7,265 - Melanie C (#8 in October 2020) 4,500 (estimate) - This Time (#57 in April 2007) 4,084 - Version of Me (#25 in October 2016) 3,735 - The Sea (#45 in September 2011) 2,326 - Stages (#50 in September 2012) 10,000+ would be wonderful for her and surely enough for Top 5.
  8. A very passionate speech! https://www.instagram.com/reels/DXzzMz1OM5q/
  9. Lol apparently all the vinyl variants say MELANINE C on the spines rather than MELANIE C

Judging by the preview clip, it doesn't sound much like either! This song sounds like it has the potential to be much more interesting, and less 1D redux, than the previous two releases. Maybe I can finally get on board! It's seemingly coming out on 15th May.
  12. I think the cassettes aren’t showing for outside the UK ☹️
  13. Welcome to the forum @2become1 😄!
  14. A random difference between the artwork on streaming, vs. the artwork as shown on her physical mock-ups/the digital deluxe: (Streaming version has the floor at a slant)
  15. Everyone's at it, so really it's just a case of her playing the game!
  16. And now a new 3x cassette bundle! https://melaniec.tmstor.es/product/sweat-pink-orange-yellow-cassettes
  17. Maybe one of your worst posts, darling x
  18. Berlin has been cancelled because of scheduling/production issues.
  19. Sweat is Radio 2's album of the week!
  20. Yeah unfortunately I'd be surprised if it even lasts a second week in the Top 200. I hope it can though, she's never had an album spend less than 2 weeks in the Top 200 before: #4, 99 weeks - Northern Star #5, 20 weeks - Reason #24, 4 weeks - Beautiful Intentions #57, 3 weeks - This Time #45, 2 weeks - The Sea #50, 2 weeks - Stages #25, 2 weeks - Version of Me #8, 2 weeks - Melanie C
  21. Oh yaaaay! Honestly don’t think I’ve performed this well in a forum game before lol. I’ll add “can identify Steps artwork” to my CV. Thanks for hosting this @Spiceboy it was very fun, and well done everyone else! ❤️
  22. Edited the poll - is that everything? I think you can go back and edit your votes if things have changed since you last voted!
  23. Even this close to the release date, I find it hard to predict! I would like to think she can outdo the first week sales of self-titled, but by how much... hmm! There's a lot of physical variants. I wonder if she'll have download exclusives during release week? I'd love for her to make the Top 5 again, but anywhere Top 10 would be wonderful. Anyway, just like, @Jessie Where, I'll go with #6! I slightly fear that the ongoing impact of the 'Michael' film on Michael Jackson's back catalogue could push her lower than a position she might have achieved earlier this year. In yesterday's midweeks there are Michael Jackson albums at #4, #7, #18, #20 and #22, largely because of strong streaming, so if he continues to surge... well, we'll see what happens.

#86 in the midweeks! Of the new songs, I was most impressed with Moths on first listen. I liked them all though!
  25. Apparently these vinyl reissues will actually come out in July, rather than May.
