I'm really glad to see it's been holding up well since the reissue I estimate its total UK sales to be around 256,000. I'd like to think the album will be able to go Platinum before the end of summer! I wonder if it'll get there before Positions? I have no idea what sales that could be on by now!

If that's the case, that's a shame! I really want the GH on vinyl with the original artwork!

I look at this photo now that was taken on this very day 28 years ago, when we had no idea that would be the day our lives changed forever, I can’t believe it’s the same girl staring back at me but I can see the Joy and excitement on all our faces. When I think about the time since that day I realise that…… We have been Together, We have been apart, We’ve been successful, We’ve been less successful (not often though 😉), We’ve had quiet times, We’ve had the busiest of times , We’ve had good times, We’ve had bad times, We’ve been Friends, We’ve also not been Friends, We’ve laughed, We’ve Cried, We’ve Argued, We’ve reconciled, We’ve had Births, Marriages, Divorces, illness and sadly deaths, We’ve experienced all that life can throw at you one way or another and we are still here, I think for me it’s because Steps is my comfort Blanket, That one pair of shoes that NEVER lets you down, My Safety Net when life is scary, that smile that arrives just at the right time and that light that just keeps on burning against all the odds. I’m sure it’s because at its core there is LOVE. Love for each other, Love for our team, Love for our families, Love for our friends and Love for you the FANS. Steps makes people Happy, it makes people feel seen, it makes people feel included, it makes people feel safe that’s how it makes me feel, and I for one am so proud to a part of something that’s not only been special to me for over half my life but to so many millions of people around the world. I’d welcome them performing anything first over Spice Up Your Life! Mix it up a bit, ladies… Imagine how caught off guard and immediately energetic the crowd would be if they started with Wannabe? They could still do it again as a reprise in the encore too. Considering it’s their biggest song, it does feel like it’s over with in a flash on their tours.

I know this is negative energy but I have this bad feeling that they won’t do anything significant for Forever 25, not to the extent of a reissue / physicals like Spice and Spiceworld. I truly want to be wrong though! I’m just wondering if the label will still be thinking of a project like this 3 years on from Spiceworld 25 not doing amazingly well.
