Cascadian Thread
Oh and by the way, my country is named after this, not the eurodance act. ^_^

Will someone remind me if remixes are allowed in this contest? I honestly can't remember.

BJSCL//SEMI//LISTEN//VOTE
Wow, there are some pretty fantastic songs in both semi-finals. Looks like this was a good contest to return to judging by all the new music I am discovering. Cascadia will submit its votes soon! ^_^

Cascadian Thread
Well, after being away for more than four years, Cascadia is considering sending a representative to the next BJSC! More details to follow. (Note: After not participating for four years, I'm not exactly sure about the application process and rules. I know there was a point when there were too many countries to really fit into a single contest and certain ones had to wait - is that still the case? Also, from now on, I'm going to start choosing songs based more on my taste and less on what I think will do well in the contest.)

Voting Opens at Show Beginning
I think it's a terrible idea. Great way to imply that people should vote for the country and not the song - among other things.

Congrats to Regina - #3 in America with sales of 50,000 :o I didn't know she was actually that popular.

Doesn't the ESC seem ages ago now?
It does seem like such a long time ago. However with JESC and Eurovision Dance Contest the time seems to go by more quickly. I always try to watch contests from previous years (because I only started watching in 2007) when I get bored.

Highest score ever in Eurovision
If this new voting system has proved anything its how much a country can win by if voters and juries agree.

Eurovision Song Contest 2009 [Final Thread]
I stand corrected... I didn't think a jury would vote for a eurodance song... but apparently they did. and Croatia... that was kinda predicted.

Eurovision Song Contest 2009 [Final Thread]
Estonia got 6th.... the night was a success. I agree, I don't really see how this song was THAT different than the song from Ukraine last year - which got 2nd. I guess maybe the juries didn't go for people dancing in ancient roman army uniforms.
