Not to open this can of worms again, because I’m obviously glad that Kylie did get to No 1, but it still doesn’t sit right with me that Amazon can just prioritise Kylie (or whetever Christmas song they’re promoting that year) to the top of their ‘stations’ when someone asks to play Christmas Music. I’m surprised that the OCC haven’t clamped down on ‘stations’ counting as streams yet. I can understand playlists as the song will only appear once but stations feel like Amazon can almost manipulate how many times they want a song to appear (as evidenced by the major increase in Gwen’s song this week)

That new Jessie J song they have added is lovely - heard it on Jo Whiley's show a couple of weeks ago. Haven't heard of the Goo Goo Dolls for many years! I had no idea they were still making music!

Surprised that they have moved Charlie up at this point - the A List is looking extremely static at the moment. I suppose there isn't a whole lot out there right now. Nice to see Wild Woman added too, that's my favourite I have heard from that project.

I’m confused - I thought I guessed the final Taylor song? Isn’t it Out Of The Woods, The Man and The Last Time from looking at previous messages? I thought it’s just one Ed song left!

I’m going to guess something from the Lover era? The Man?

I wonder if the weather is also playing a part, I seem to remember last year December was pretty cold whilst it’s unseasonably warm and damp at the moment!

They’re both in actually - Lauren Redfern is presenting with Emil in the afternoon slot 28th, 29th and 30th and then Lauren Layfield is presenting that same slot on NYE and then with Ore on NYD!

Looks like Radio 2 are doing the same as Radio 1 this year in terms of a 'sleigh list' but no songs on the playlist itself - I can't remember if they had this last year? They are still listing the wrong Rag'n'Bone Man track but they've been playing Time To Love all week so I've left it on there. Apologies but I missed CMAT off the additions last week!

Ahh, I think Sweet Talker is a great album! There’s a couple of duds on there but generally I think it’s very cohesive. ‘Masterpiece’ is also the best song she’s ever made

The ROTW is usually a track added to the playlist that week. Last year they had a Michael Buble Christmas song as ROTW that didn't end up on the playlist. I guess we'll have to wait and see for next week

Fresh playlist today! Good to see movement for both Remember Monday and Rita Ora. I'm surprised that For Good has only debuted on the C-List, feels like it should be higher than that. The Charlotte OC track is also amazingly brilliant so I hope that moves up - almost sounds like a Bond theme! I have no idea what's happening with the Rag N Bone Man tracks. On the website they are now listing Put A Little Hurt On Me but that was an album track from last year and isn't listed as a new entry so I'm guessing that's a mistake. Seems like they're not going to be adding Christmas songs again this year as I would have thought it would happen today if they were going to (especially with Kylie being record of the week).
