Good to see an insta-add for Perrie, think that's my favourite of hers so far. Also nice to see adds from both Sam Ryder and Sombr (at least it's getting lots of radio support even if Spotify are ignoring it).

I think it’s just… slow! Nice To Each Other is still very high up, same with Manchild. It’s annoying how things like Man I Need and Jump are both lower down (or missing entirely like 12 to 12), but at least it doesn’t seem to have as much influence as it used to on the chart.

Seems very good for Tom Grennan considering he hasn’t had a proper hit this era - what did his last album open with out of interest?

I think you’re almost spot on - I think Mangetout might have been added by Wet Leg rather than the Jonas Blue song though!

Thank you very much to James and Mango for posting this in my absence for the last couple of weeks Never seen someone move from the C-A list on the Radio 2 playlist before so that might be a first this week. Also wasn't expecting to see Vicky McClure's name ever pop up on the playlist but there we go (the song isn't my cup of tea unfortunately). Not much else of interest for me this week. I'm surprised that R1 and R2 are both ignoring new Ed!!

At a guess from looking through what has been played today: Survive and Plastic Box have both been removed from the A List 12 for 12 and Jump have been moved up to the A List Y3llow bike, X-Ray and Slow Burner have been removed from the B List From, The Mood, Leave Me Alone, End of Summer and All This Time have been moved up to the B List Ease My Mind and Into Dust have been removed from the C List New additions: Katy B - Avalanche Tom Odell - Don’t Cry, Put Your Head On My Shoulder Disclosure feat. Anderson .Paak - No Cap CMAT - Euro-Country Olivia Dean - Man I Need Prospa and Josh Baker - You Don’t Own Me And then if my maths is correct there should be one final addition which I don’t think has been played yet. Watch me now be completely wrong with this once the website updates

They seem a bit lukewarm on The Last Dinner Party this era - I wonder if the title of the song is putting them off a bit. Good to see adds for Confidence Man/JADE, Sombr and Tyler’s tracks swapped. Also nice to see upwards movement for Golden, Eternity and No Broke Boys. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for Four Tet moving up but I concede that doesn’t seem very likely now

Glad to see Sombr starting off well - it’s an amazing track!

Ahh sorry, I assumed he was playing a character!

No idea why this was my first thought but Wealdstone Raider - Got No Fans I seem to remember it having a Christmas number 1 campaign 11 (!!) years ago and ultimately ended up at number 5!

An unexpected add for Golden there. Didn't think R2 would playlist that. Also good to see an insta-add for Mariah Carey and nice to see Justin Bieber on there. A very unusual climb for Seafret from C to A List - that doesn't happen very often at all on the R2 playlist. I'm away for the next 2 weeks so please could someone post this in my absence?

Strange chart run for this - I assume it’s been quite stable sales wise but has been affected by tracks going to ACR etc

That’s a whole mix of songs there! Rein Me In or Show Me Love?!

Apologies, managed to accidentally post this when I'd only half completed it. Good to see adds for Alex Warren (although I'm surprised it wasn't higher), Tyler The Creator and The Last Dinner Party. Also good to see movement for Blackpink, Interplanetary Criminal and David Guetta. Quite surprised to see JADE moved up, I thought that would be off the playlist today to be replaced by Gossip in the next couple of weeks.

I actually don’t think that’s too bad for Alex? Considering he’s had one massive song (and a couple of other middling hits), we’ve seen some artists do far worse once they release their albums.

Good to see a clear-out this week - it's a shame that none of them are particularly interesting to me!

It’s the Tune of the Weekend, which I think is decided at the same time as the playlist so I assume they did know about it but don’t feel that they’re a big enough name to insta-add (I’m surprised at that as well tbh)

That Four Tet song is brilliant! So good to see that getting supported! Also enjoy the new Blackpink and Bieber this week Good to see PinkPantheress moving up this week, I did think ‘Can’t Decide’ would have done too. Nice to see so much dance music on the playlist at the moment - would be good if the less ‘generic’ songs such as Barry Can’t Swim, Chloe Callet and Interplanetary Criminal can move up over the next couple of weeks

Nice to see Sugababes make it straight onto the A List. Also good to see Rita Ora climb up - that's my favourite of hers since Praising You! I have no idea why they have decided to playlist OneRepublic's awful cover of Starlight, it's a completely unnecessary song (and the Jonas Brothers sample of Stayin Alive isn't much better).
