Good to see Madonna insta added (no surprises there really) and LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER finally added! Not particularly surprised it's on the C-List, it definitely isn't as R2 friendly as previous years

I would guess Mavis Staples on Hozier’s track in 2018? She would have been around 80 at that point, I can’t think of anybody else older! EDIT: sorry I misread the lead single part! I would think Madonna potentially? Or Paul McCartney if you count him as a lead on FourFiveSeconds

Why have they decided to playlist Midnight Sun again?! I thought Eurosummer was being pushed from the remix album!

Yeah, this isn’t my favourite of his, feels very Lewis Capaldi like (although still much more listenable than if it was sung by Lewis!)

That’s a really poor line up actually. I thought Big Weekend’s was quite poor this year but it looks amazing compared to this

Good to see adds for Olivia Rodrigo and upwards movement for Gaga/Doechii, Taylor Swift and especially Kacey Musgraves, have really grown to enjoy that song the last couple of weeks. Still no add for LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER - I wonder if they're not going to playlist it at all?!

I’m pretty sure they do just playlist singles? I can’t remember when they haven’t done (especially radio 2, unless it’s tracks from a specific album)

I agree, I always listen to all the new additions I haven’t heard yet when the playlist is put up to see if there’s anything good I’m missing out on, and I genuinely can’t remember a single part of that song!

Thank you to @James. for posting last week's playlist - a big fan of the Kacey Musgraves and Ne-Yo songs that were added last week. Good to see a clearout this week and nice to see Jungle added too. Surprised that they have added the Gaga and Doechii track really. Hopefully Olivia Rodrigo and Sombr will be added next week, quite surprised they weren't added today (although Olivia has already been played as a New to 2 track so I'm pretty sure it will be on there next week). Just to add, I would have also expected LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER by now, I wonder why that’s not been added yet?

I’m not sure it will be, I wouldn’t be surprised if it drops out next week (with Justin and Olivia Rodrigo replacing it) but back in a few weeks

And I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see it overtaken by Man I Need at some point soon (and then probably Rein Me In!)

Extremely late adds for Yungblud and Zayn! Why have they taken so long to add those? Makes me think the might add Bebe Rexha in 2 months time! Nice to see Jim Legxacy added (think it’s my second favourite of his behind 06 Wayne Rooney!)

We are in urgent need of some fresh music for this top 10 soon! Can’t see anything big on the horizon to be released soon though :(
