iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 22nd February 2019
It has fun. all over it  (Nate co-wrote it), reminds me of Carry On  maybe it’s that?

iTunes Chart: February 2012 (Part I)
Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but I preordered MDNA and got GMAYL, just got my iTunes receipt and it's showing GMAYL single £0.99... Think those album preorder sales will also be single sales so if I'm right we have no idea how it's doing especially given the whole iTunes campaign is focused on the preorder. Probably wrong but I'd love not to be :-( of course the GMAYL on the singles chart may represent these preorders which would be worrying :-(

Nicola Roberts - Cinderella's Eyes
07 Beat Of My Drum 08 Lucky Day 10 Yo-Yo 07 Cinderella's Eyes 08 Porcelain Heart 05 I 01 Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime 10 Say It Out Loud 10 Gladiator 01 Fish Out of Water 09 Take a Bite 09 Sticks + Stones Took AGES for this to click with me! At first I thought omg it's really really bad, her voice grates and it's all self pity rubbish, I didn't go to the Liverpool signing because I hated it that much :-( My friend made me keep listening and thank god I did! While I can't see me ever liking Everybody's (Baby D was far better!), Fish Out Of Water (wth?), and i (jesus!); some are amazing, esp Gladiator, Say It Out Loud, and Yo-yo :-) SO pleased, she was always my fave I was obsessed with her. It's my least fave GA related album though :-(

Jessie J - Who You Are + Singles
Thank you! I feel exactly the same, I have to skip most as soon as the chorus comes on and she starts wailing (Who You Are and Momma Knows Best literally hurt my ears!) and it's like her voice constantly breaks :puke2: it's a shame cos in parts she has a warmth like Kelly Clarkson but then completely ruins it. On the plus side I found new love for DILAD, and Abracadabra, Rainbow, Stand Up and Who's Laughing Now are ace. [edit] wow just read some reviews, it's not just me at all is it?!

iTunes Chart: January 2011 (III)
Poor Roxette :-( I suppose it's to be expected, no promo and years away :-( I love it too :-)
-
iTunes Chart: September 2010 (I)
Hoping Start Without You goes top 5,and Alesha top 10 - not too worried by ALesha yet though - the pre-order/album includes the video and 5 other mixes for only £1.99 - so (hopefully) that'll pick up steam on the iTunes album chart...

Albums which were saved by subsequent singles?
Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill? Started at 46 - and took almost 6 months to go top 10 then went stellar with Ironic and Head Over Feet. I suppose this might be quite common with new artists - established acts will be difficult

iTunes Thread: May III
Is it just me, or is Kelia Acapella FREE on amazon??!!!! And wow, it's looking good for Alexandra :-)
-
PREDICT: Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Bittersweet
She's doing a live performance and signing in Manchester tomorrow (I'd go but I'd be on my own :-( ) know it won't help much, but eh

BRITs Thread
Hurrah! Thank you! I knew it! Honestly, I'm sure some was live, sure!

BRITs Thread
I think there was also the issue of syncing between audio (mic) and visual (camera) - I'm pretty sure 'some' of it was live, Robbie had a slight delay too. Whatever the case, I feel awful for her - what a terrible thing to happen on top of everything she's got going on :-( her and Gaga made me so depressed last night :-(

Whos Greatest Hits Would You look Forward To The Most
Imagine if they did a double cd solo hits! I'd pass out! I only hope that whoever does release one either does it BIG with single and promo or budget and low key. Until then I got my SoloSpice playlist on my iPod :-) Best one - Geri or Emma Best sales - Mel C

Musical: Viva Forever
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Worst thing they could possibly do! I'd rather they did nothing than this! For two reasons: 1. They won't be in it (what's the point???!!!) 2. It won't sell (they're pretty much seen as a novelty act these days, they're not reminisced by people (other than me) in the way Queen and Abba are) I am so disappointed. It won't even be Spice Girls for me, it'll be someone else singing their songs - whoop do flippin woo
