Robbie Williams - Robbie Williams Shares Bed With Dogs

    15 July 2011 09:16:28 AM

Take That singer Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field share their giant king-size bed with eight dogs.

The Take That singer - who is married to US actress Ayda Field - has even splashed out on a set of "doggy steps" so his pooches Maggie, Wall-E, Rudy, Samantha, Sid, Duke, Poupette and Baby can reach the bed.

A source said: "The couple like sleeping with their pooches. Rob couldn't stand having them sleep in another room - or, worse, outside.

"But some of the dogs are quite small - the bichon frise pup, particularly - and Robbie's king-size bed is huge.

"It was too high up for them all to clamber up. So Rob bought a special, bespoke set of fake fur-lined doggy steps so they can make it up there safely. Now the whole family sleeps together."

Although Robbie and Ayda live in Los Angeles, the singer brought his dogs over to the UK for his band's recent tour because he couldn't bear to be parted from them for too long.

However, the dogs may soon have to share Robbie and Ayda as the 'Angels' hitmaker recently revealed the couple hope to have kids in the near future.

Explaining why he returned to touring and became more sociable, he said: "I'm going to be a dad... maybe next year or the year after and I don't want their dad to be emotionally inept, for my own well-being as well as theirs.

"At the start of the year, I got a feeling that 'things' can be different. It started as an ember and now because of the tour it's a furnace.

"In fact it started when we - as a couple - were kindly invited on holiday that was a once in a lifetime thing but it involved going with people we didn't know. My automatic reaction normally would have been, 'No, be safe, don't step out of your comfort zone' but then I thought of the kids we're yet to have and said, 'No f**k it, I want their dad to be able to do this sort of thing.' So I did. Things just snowballed from there."

London, July 17 (IANS) Trouble seems to be brewing between the members of pop group Take That, following Robbie Williams’ bad behaviour.

According to a source, band members Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen are upset after Williams’ foul-mouthed rants.

‘Major cracks are starting to appear with the lads. They aren’t spending much time with each other backstage and it seems Robbie is causing most of the friction,’ dailystar.co.uk quoted the source as saying.

‘There was talk of extending the tour and recording more material but that’s now been scrapped. The other four are sick of Robbie stealing all the headlines with his bad behaviour – rather than people talking about the group’s performance.

‘It’s once again turned into The Robbie Williams Show and the other lads feel like Robbie’s just using the tour to relaunch his solo career. And Gary has also struggled to balance his ‘X Factor’ commitments which has caused a few dramas too,’ the source added.

  3. And with regard to the Copenhagen gig - I do think they could have put on some sort of show with just the four (at the risk of the Rob fans throwing cans of pee at them!) Girly cowards!

And what about those who went all that way just to see the Pet Shop Boys?

Oohhh. I've just posted much the same in the other thread.

  4. Anyway, on this subject. I feel so sorry for the fans. Particularly those who had spent hours queuing for tickets or who had travelled long distances.

Let's be clear. These things happen. People get sick. The last time I had food poisoning I could hardly lift my head off the pillow for 4 days (except to vomit black bile into my bedside bucket that is :puke2: )but....

Couldn't the rest of them have put on some kind of show for the fans? The fans could have had the PSBs and then 40 minutes of TT without any probs at all. Ok, Robbie's set would obviously have had to go but couldn't the others have cobbled together something for another hour? I'm sure Gary could have sang all the Robbie bits in the TT5 songs.

Even as a mega Robbie fan and a non- TT fan, I think if I'd travelled to the stadium I'd have preferred to see TT than to trudge home again having seen sod all.

Couldn't they have offered a refund to anyone who wanted to leave before the start or offer everyone who stayed a 1/3 off their ticket price or something? Or,if all else failed, why cancel? Why not postpone? You're not telling me Parken Stadium is fully booked every night from now until September. Or that TT and Robbie don't have a spare night over the same period.
