  1. I'll go first: I Know Him So Well (Melanie C featuring Emma Bunton) 06
  2. Thank you all you beautiful people for the votes so far! I am just waiting on a final one.... BUT I ALSO JUST REALISED THAT I LEFT ONE SONG OUT  And none of you bitches realised it either          WHAT ABOUT I KNOW HIM SO WELL???? Shall we all vote for it now whilst I start compiling the votes that have been cast so far??? :teresa: I Know Him So Well (Melanie C featuring Emma Bunton) (Listen on Spotify | Apple Music | )
  3. This would be the best way for her to get the Spice fans on board too... Some of us only care for her as part of the group anyway and her song with Emma, as lovely as it was, it wasn't very interesting lol I would also love - absolutely love - a duet with Jessie Ware... though I have a feeling that Jessie is too 'cool' for it I listened to the clip and musically it sounds ok but the lyrics sound awful
  4. Jay you are so naughty :whip: :teresa: Thanks hun
  5. Mr.X posted a post in a topic in Spice Girls's Spice Girls
Yeah I agree, that in general the album is filled with songs that are just lacking somehow, and that they were obviously 'given' to Mel B without much of her input, and it does feel like the producers gave her their least interesting music at the time. Feels So Good is obviously the stand out and should have been the lead, but then again there isn't much more in the album that lends itself to be a single. Jam & Lewis did manage to capture the best of Mel and the best of the Spices at the time.. It is a shame that in both albums they only contributed one or two songs rather than more focused approach. Maybe if both albums had done well enough, they would have continued to work together? Missy and/or Timbaland producing the album would have been the prefered option, in my opinion and it is wild she never got to work with them after I Want You Back / Word Up / Sophisticated Lady. Those songs are some of her best, so it is weird they didnt follow up on that collaboration.
  6. (Maybe I bought it in the London HMV :P ) I am visiting London and decided to get it but was almost put off by the price - at £35 for a vinyl that is only different in its colour from the others available (and slightly cheaper!), was quite a hard sell even for a fan like me. I wouldnt be surprised if this edition doesnt sell well at all, the fandom is pretty 'meh' about it... There were also various copies of the standard Spice, the Spiceworld and Spiceworld25 vinyls and the GH available, all around the £29 price tag... It is good to see them so widely available but at that price, I wonder how much people are actually buying those
  7. You bitch, I'll get Jay on you
  8. Go on give it a listen and give all songs a vote :teresa:
  9. I believe in respecting privacy unless we're talking about demo leaks from our girls :teresa:
  10. How dare you?? I have DMs begging me for an extension <_<
  11. Huns, some Buntonettes have asked for an extension of the deadline, so I am now planning to start counting on Sunday! Which means you have until Sunday 20th 17:00 GMT to finalise your votes!!
  12. HEY Buntonettes :cheer: You have a whole 24 hours till the very end of the voting period :yahoo:
  13. I feel the same Jay... The year started so promising, only to be all left to rot instead...
  14. Truly, Ms Bunton needs to be locked up in jail for not giving a crap about her best album and single :teresa:
  15. Urgh that Istanbul show is so so iconic, we need the full thing NOW!
  16. This just came on to my YouTube suggestions and I had watch and it made me quite emotional  Their appereance at the MTV EMAs in 2000 was full of drama, a badly lipsync'd performance (it was already seen as bad to do that at the time...) and rumours of infighting. The performance itself was also met with a lot of indiference, whereas this was meant to be their big big return to the international performance stage. But they looked uncomfortable in their new, shiny, leather outfits and styling. Beyond the lipsyncing, the staging was quite... well... terrible and bare... whereas they usually would have simple choreo and a lot of colour and attitude, this felt too 'polished' for them, and the whole thing became so boring... Plus, Mel C was visibly drunk and it showed both in the performances and in her demeaner towards the press and public. She even shouted at someone to 'Shut the f*** up' leaving the rest of them very visibly uncomfortable... Also, the interviews backstage were so... well... ackward and some of them clearly didn't want to be there... I think this appereance and how it was received was the last straw of the camel's back, looking back at it. The reception was so frosty, off the back of an underperforming album (for their standards) and relenteless press-attacks in ways they probably hadnt experienced before... It was also their very last appereance as the original 4-piece, led to them calling it quits and them as a group were not seen together again in the same room until 2007 <_< This was such a bittersweet night, damn  ub_5VJGN1B0
  17. Glad you are enjoyed it
  18. COME ON BUNTONETTES :cheer: Not long now to get yer votes in!! Why not take some time today to go over the list, re-connect with our favourite ( :teresa: ) Spice Girl solo music and get voting  Yes, do it today, don't be like lazy Spice (iykyk) and definitely don't leave it to tomorrow  WAIT! DID SOMEONE SAY.... TOMORROW???? RO24T6ZxR88 :cheer:
  19. Gagging for it hun :teresa:
  20. Thank you for all your votes and comments so far NOTE: As per the rules states in the original post, there is no -1 or lower scores. I will be counting those as 0 instead. NOTE II: Anyone who forgot or has yet to vote for the non-album tracks, please do have a go before the deadline. Alternatively they will count as 0 as well.
  21. Very strange since we know she was recording with a live band and everything... Maybe a full on studio album this time???!!!! :teresa: :yahoo:
  22. Have to say though, Life in Mono has been catching up with me. It was always my 2nd favourite Emma album, but actually over the past few years it is the one I revisit the most  It is so lush and well produced, sang and written. A true Bunton special
  23. Thank you for sharing. It is really a shame how both Free Me and Life in Mono, her two best albums and in the case of Free Me, her most successful one, are left to rot over time...
