  1. Take it with a pinch of salt but this is an often reliable industry insider and he is often right. Seems like the Animated movie is back on:
  2. I dont think it is fair to speculate on the ins and outs as it is a private matter and shouldnt be layed down in the open like this. That's awful as hell. I did like Marina Hyde's article on The Guardian talking about it though, she kind of hits the nail on the head about how the Beckham's have sold theirs and their children's privacy for big money for a long time. There are bound to be consequences to that level of exposure on their children, since it is not like they had the ability to say no - as they were children without a choice in the matter! Brooklyn Beckham has been commodified since he was a foetus. The story of Victoria’s pregnancy was sold by his parents. When he was born, David and Victoria sold the first pictures of him. They sold intimate looks around their home and his nursery. They sold their wedding, staying up till 3am on the night of that big day, deciding which pictures would be featured in OK! magazine. They sold everything – mostly, back then, to OK!. Its proprietor, Richard Desmond, wrote in his autobiography about spending what felt like every Friday at Victoria’s parents’ house with the young couple, where they would all “plot and plan the next features we’d do”. A huge cheque was always involved, and the Beckhams wanted the limelight – all of it – so much. But as time went on, David and Victoria acquired more sophisticated advisers who understood the rapidly morphing potential of controlling image and brand, and built a vast and diversified empire for them off the back of it. When social media came along, the Beckhams channelled their business through its pipes. As I’ve written here before, they were past masters at not simply turning to their children and telling them they loved them, but photographing them, tagging them and sending the message of love via social media. Alchemically lucrative – but an accident waiting to happen? https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/jan/20/brooklyn-peltz-beckham-inc-disaster-david-victoria
  3. oh my.... that is nuclear... I hate it when celebs dish it out in public...
  4. Stop using AI... it's f***ing full of dissinformation and it is terrible for the climate (and your brain)
  5. The team has asked to remove any clips being posted (beats me why they are online anyway!) by the way so please bare that in mind.

yeah sadly.. it is also artists' own fault who would rather do a 2min song to get 0,000001 british pounds for a stream, than make actual music (since they are barely being paid for it anyway!). At one point, Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice were releasing songs - as singles! - that we no more than 1;45mins long. SINGLES! It's wild...

Yep, it is because of streaming. Streaming has basically reduced people's attention spams and the shorter a song is, the better change it has of being a hit. Plus, it allows for easier 'repeat plays'. It's f***ing sad because it is anti-art but that's the 'free market' capitalism we live in working... it's vile. This remix is definitely pointless. She would be wise to move on to a new song asap.

Im not sure comparing with Robyn is fair at all... Robyn is pretty big and influencial all over Europe and USA. She has a big following and is an icon to the standard that Mel C has never been solo wise. Hilary Duff however... well...
  10. I was just listening to Feed Your Love! What a tune
  11. are you looking for a fight? is that what you want?...
  12. They've been on a slow-tempo streak since 1998, sadly... Although I LOVE their ballads and moody downtempo songs - or even uptempo but naughty and cool, it is what people want: attitude. Even their moody songs have attitude. They have the best ballads of any girlband, probably the only girlband that at least matches them on the ballad front is All Saints. But yeah we need some uptempo songs! Here's hoping the next unreleased tracks that get tagged on to anniversary releases, are uptempo or at least interesting (no Voodoos or Song For Her!!!)
  13. Wow some quite drastic changes apart from the Top5. That's surprising actually that those 5 songs are all there, I always thought Naked was more of a niche taste song even among the Spice fans, same with If You Wanna Have Some Fun!
  14. And there you go bitches! The rate is over 🥳 and I hope you had as much fun with it as I did 😆 Any big surprises for you? Any total misses?? What would be your ideal Top 10?? 15. 2. Love Thing Score: 9,18 Stop pushin', you're rushin' You're losing my lovin' I hope it, I see it Just play it, you feel it Gotta be bold, bold and oh-so strong Get with this and you got it goin' on On and on with the girls named Spice You wanna get with us, then you'd better think twice God help the mister, yeah, God help the mister That comes between me and my sisters The almost debut single from the band makes it to #2 on the rate. Another iconic album track, it was Virgin's favourite to launch the band as it would go closer to the overall girlband sounds that came before (r&b pop) while still providing the very essence of the girls: girl power throughout it! The band, however, stood by their guns and Virgin and Management relented and took a chance. Obviously it worked because Wannabe became one of the best selling and most iconic songs ever made, launching the Spice Girls to the echalons of music. Still it is Step To Me's BIG sister for sure as it shares similar themes and structures, with some of the verses being alterned between the girls and Geri and Mel B's rap epitomising the full energy and ethos of the band. It has always been a huge fan favourite to this day and rightly so. It's a perfect song! Strangely, however, the song was also mostly neglected by the band during their hey day! After being one of the standout moments in the Istanbul tour, it was only brought back for the final leg of the Stadium dates in 1998 and then completely neglected again until 2019's tour. Criminal, specially when they could have easily done it in 1999 and they definitely could have done more album tracks in 2007! The production on the track in Istanbul is still one of my favourite live moments of the girls, it's so strong and powerful and cool. The 2019 version palled in comparison, sadly, as it sounded straight out of the CD. Nonetheless, a great achievement here at #2 even if not completely surprising 😅 1. Never Give Up On The Good Times Score: 9,18 Down and dirty city, feeling outta place Maybe you've ran out of time He treats her like a lady, smile upon her face Make up the last of the lines The ultimate 'should have been a single damn it!!" One of the fabourite tracks from the critics, fans and the band itself, Never Give Up On The Good Times is Spice Disco at its best, with a positive and empowerment message mixed with girl power like only them knew how to do back then! Borrowing heavily from 70s disco but with a very VERY pop angle, it's perhaps one of Matt and Biff's most intricate productions overall, and includes a breakdown/bridge that is simple yet anthemic at the same time! HEY NOW LOOK AROUND PICK YOURSELF UP OFF THE GROUND definitely walked so that Emma's relenteless 'ARE YOU HAVING FUN!!???' could run! Live, it is always a MOMENT, and has been a staple of their live shows since 1998, with the 1999 tour making it even more disco and upbeat, and the 2019 version blending in Madonna's Music and Christina Aguilera/Missy Elliott's Car Wash in for extra fun! It was a CRIME they skipped it for the 2007 tour - another crime in how the group treated some of its back catalogue back then! The main crime, however, was the fact it never got its rumoured release as a single. Slated to be released as a double A-side with Viva Forever for summer 1998 to coicide with the World Tour, it ultimately got removed from the release schedule - something we still don't know why today. Many suggested this was because Geri left, but a video was never commissioned for it, and don't know why plans were scrapped. Certainly after Geri left, they would have had to re-record some of the vocals as Geri is so prominent in the song, but I still stand that they should done like the Backstreet Boys did with 'Larger Than Life' and do a Tour music video with their new vocals, at the end of the summer, to celebrate the end of the tour and them going to the stadiums! It woud have changed the course of the 4-piece forever as it would have breathed new life and energy into the band's profile. During the Spiceworld25 celebrations, a video was published on their YouTube profilled labelled as an 'official video' with archive footage - some very rare and unseen - but ultimately it got deleted (we still don't know why either!)... So there it is... A song that is so iconic, but with so many things that got in the way of it having its proper moment. Ultimately it is one of their most loved by all, and even the general public loves it. Still, it is cemented in the group's legacy as one of their very best and many would love to see it get its proper dues one day! Will it ever get it?...
