Yeah the overall reception from the fans has been quite 'meh'... there have been so many variants of the same 10 songs lol They should have given Spiceworld a try at least, I'm not sure that album has had many vinyl variants beyond its 2020 release (black vinyl, standard) and the Spiceworld25 variants It is not like the Spice25 variants are all gone either lol plenty still available all over the HMV/Rough Trade and their own website. So why not try something different?... Spiceworld25 with Step to Me on it (after Denying) would have BANGED and gotten the fans to buy it at least...

According to Chris on Spice Circle, there is no Christmas tour this year from Emma. Speculation is that it is a Christmas album. I would bet she might do the interview/TV shows rounds a bit to promote it, which is the right thing to do but I would hope she would perform it live, damn. I probably woudnt go (lol) but some intimate Christmas gigs could be good to do, I think!

Have added Mel C's registered duet with Natalie Imbruglia, which we know has been recorded but never released! Do you guys know the two songs that were registered recently? Some reason I cant find them? They were registered in the last couple of weeks, and I blieve they were co-written with Cathy Denis?

Ah yeah I remember the whole thing about the 5 cassettes LOL it would make much more sense to have 5 individual CDs of Spice rather than the stupid cassettes that no-one cares about :blink:

Yeah it was really baffling, specially when Spice25 had sooooooo many variants on cassettes and vinyls (some of which are still available to sell online today!!) and CDs are still the main selling formats outside of vinyls.. really stupid decision... The Spiceworld 2CD release is still also widely available too..... Spice and Spiceworld SCREAM a proper standard CD being available at HMV and local shops. It's a no-brainer!! I bet Spiceworld's sales would have had a bigger increase by now if that was the case. Plus, since CDs seems to be on a steady rise again, I would hope they would release a standard version of the Forever25 one, even if as a limited one only. I could see a limited run doing well, to be honest, with a new cover :teresa:

Was just reading this article on how CD sales are going up whereas Digital Downloads are going down in general, which seems to be the new trend since last year and was wondering why the girls haven't had a proper standard CD in circulation other than their Greatest Hits... For me, this was the missed opportunity of both Spice25 and Spiceworld25 campaigns, where both releases lacked a standard CD of just the normal 10songs for wider consumption? For better or worse, CDs are still the main sellers of physical copies (or at least second to vinyls only!) and are probably the cheapest to make and sell. Most CDs go for £7-10 in general, which would make casual buyers more willing to buy them over a £40 vinyl. I know that Spice has been in circulation for a long time and there were still some left-over copies available during the time of the Spice25 release. But why not do a Spice25 limited run at least too? Specially for Spiceworld, which has not been in circulation on CD for well over a decade, it seemed like a really clear and misguided omission from the releases (specially when the vinyls were so lacking in content to justify many buying them!!). I mean they did f***ing cassettes (5 versions of the same for Spice25 too lol the Spiceworld25 at least was cute but pointless and expensive as hell lol) Having both Spice and Spiceworld on CD available on HMV and supermarkets for like £10 would be good imo, it would boost their sales but also continue to have them present for the General Public... In short, I am still quite baffled that they did so many vinyl variations with the same content, plus Cassettes (!!!!) and the 2CD one for both campaigns but no standard CD release at all??? What were they thinking???....

The association is that she is known as Ginger Spice, thus it makes sense for her to front a spice-related popular drink. She wanted it to be framed around Geri Latte instead, distancing herself from the moniker and only her Geri name. It is too obvious a decision/distancing

I mean f*** Starbucks (rotten, exploitative organisation that funds Israel's genocide and makes terrible coffee) but what is more interesting here for me is these two aspects: 1) Geri refusing to associate herself with the Ginger Spice moniker in such a high profile company 2) Geri working/meeting for months on a project only to pull out in the most fickle manner AGAIN It really shows a lot about her character and where she is at with her Spice Girls days...
