  1. To be fair, they were offered Hyde Park in London as GEM, so I wouldnt be surprised. But no, I think it will be a 4 piece only, if there is any validity to these rumours at all
  2. I think it would be a 4-piece reunion. I seriously doubt Victoria is involved at all
  3. Interesting discussion, though I think you are missing Holler from the Poll. It was done and ready in 1999! I would have gone with WOMAN as it was a perfect disco-pop to launch a Spice album with. Had they finished the song and cleaned up some of those verses, I think it would have been a huge hit. The main reason is because I feel that Woman is a progression from their pop sound and the disco-pop thing would stand out from the rest of the industry that was turning to American R&B. So they would lead rather than follow trends! Plus, it is a total bop. I think Right Back At Ya (Pop version) is great and could serve as a post-album single or even for a Forever single in 2000 as I still think they should have kept the original sound as it still fitted the album in my opinion. Pain Proof, no, sorry. Thematically is fun but it is at best b-side material. It would have gone great as a b-side for a more mid-tempo single, for instance. But in my opinion it is too cringe and self-indulgent for even an album track.
  4. So according to the latest hints by some of the girls, news articles (inc Billboard) about the rumours, and even some specific 'insider' information posted on some forums, the Girls seem to be set for a short residency at The Sphere in the US next summer. The rumour states that they have it booked for two months, 18 shows, starting from the 31st July 2026. Other rumours have stated that they have it signed and are already working on the design (it's all about the background videos at that venue rather than any staging). So what do you think? Would you like to see the girls at the Sphere? Or would you rather they go on your?
  5. Have you girlies seen the latest online buzz set by Mel C and Victoria about them performing at The Sphere in Vegas?? The latest clip going viral is Mel C hinting at the possibility of it?? What do we think girlies, are we about to see the 5 girls back together for a residency at The Sphere or is this just Mel C and Victoria drumming up online algorythms so people see it and check out their solo projects as well? ALSO... we do we really really want a The Sphere residency? 🥲
  6. With hindsight, I think WOMAN would have fitted really well on Forever, specially if they had kept the pop version of Right Back At Ya as well. A trifecta of WOMAN, Right Back At Ya (Pop mix) and If You Wanna Have Some Fun showcasing more pop-leaning elements to the album would work quite well and probably provide better/more variety. The pop-disco of WOMAN and the pop-funk of RBAY seemed like natural progressions to their sound. So with that in mind, I would have done this tracklist: Right Back At Ya Holler (no darkchild voice!) Tell Me Why Let Love Lead The Way Weekend Love Get Down With Me Wasting My Time Goodbye If You Wanna Have Some Fun Oxygen I think that would have been a perfect album in 1999!
  7. Alright girlies, you have ONE WEEK LEFT to play and cast yer votes! Get your shit together, listen to the albums and songs that you havent heard in a while and RATE them! RATE THEM! RATE THEM GOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! Let's go girlies
  8. Bless you @Babyboy for doing this work, it is incredible
  9. Well, we don't know if Destiny's Child The Writing's On The Wall has also gone diamond... Technically the last sales updates from all three albums put Spice on 3rd place. DC obviously stream better in America than Spice Girls due to Beyonce's on-going popularity and better streaming playlisting. So I don't think it will overtake DC on that front, but both should really be certified diamond by now for sure. It sucks that Billboard doesn't certify them automatically like the UK Charts do.
  10. I can see that happening next year for the 30th anniversary actually... apparently Spice is over 10million by now which is a Diamond certification, damn it!!
  11. The videos are now all properly released on YouTube channel... seems like that's all there is to it.
  12. ah yes, here @Jerald this was early this year so hopefully a bit more now
  13. where did you get these estimates?
  14. Happy anniversary to Goodbye, my favourite of the Christmas singles and their second best ballad ❤️
  15. Yeah Ive noticed that the upgrade in some of the shots in the Viva Forever video are f***ing awful to be honest
  16. Absolutely, we know they have a lot of material to release but they don't do it. Music-wise it has been some of the girls blocking that for a long time. Concerts-wise I have no idea but clearly it can be done. This only makes me less interested in their solo projects because to me, they continuously use the band to promote their solo projects but are not getting together to actually do anything about the band. Let's see. The rumours above about them not having management might be exagerations. But we have no way of knowing lol
  17. It's been commented by Simon, the MD for all their tours 1997 - 2007, on his instagram that the version of WOMAN we hear in the Before The Big One documentary, where they are rehearsing, is in fact his own mastered version of the original demo, and not the original version. So technically we are looking at currently 3 possible versions of WOMAN: Original Biff Stannard + Matt Rowe demo Christmas in Spiceworld studio master Darkchild version (rumoured) Interesting... Could be a cute EP they could release lol
  18. Only through the link above. So what I gather from the email, the unlisting of the videos and the playlist and how it is being framed, it is that this was just a gift for us fans who have been following them. They literally hint at it in the email. Also, a few things of note from a few fans on SC who have close relationships with them: - Chris on Spice Circle stated that they were not able to get anything else aproved, so the team at Universal put this together as a thank you for us staying with them. I get it, even if it is bittersweet because it just shows how the group itself is not behind this at all. Chris also says that eventually the videos will be listed, and I believe him. Maybe something else will come, even if it is just the videos being listed and that's it. - The girls have NO MANAGEMENT. The rumours that Simon was back in the picture are seemingly false. During the Spice25 era, they had a new manager but she left out of frustration of not being able to do anything as the group wouldnt agree on anything. So they are left to manage themselves, which explains a lot. - The Spice Girls vaults are a mess, after things were missed, not arquived and licenses not kept to date since 2000. Various teams have come and gone but they have no relationship with Universal or any management. So in a way, I am thankful for their team at Universal. I bet they didnt get aproval for anything like a proper release and managed to do this instead. But I am also a bit furious that with the f***ing Spice Girls, this is all we get because they themselves can't get their shit together - and seemingly they don't give a shit either. WOMAN has to be released, eventually. They know this, and if they are not going to tour or gives us anything else, then the fans will leave them.
  19. Oh my god.... they just put out.... A YouTube Playlist with the videos all still unlisted on their YouTube page... https://spicegirls.lnk.to/christmasinspiceworldYT It doesn't even show up on their YouTube profile, it is specific to that link above sent over on the mailing list. It was clearly a surprise just for the fans. This is the surprise for today and it's all over now. What a wasted opportunity to release live music. I don't really know what to say lol
  20. Christmas Wrapping still doing 50-60k streams a day, and VF is still doing around 70k. They are also now on the cover of Spotify's UK Christmas #1s playlist
  21. and to think that this this actually the most exciting Spice-related thing to happen this year... we are utter clowns lol
  22. I love this performance DAMN IT! What an iconic performance. The breakdown is everything and they have so much attitude in this. I really wish they had released it at the time, actually. I hope we eventually get the demo, they just need to get it out there asap!
  23. Here we go! Day 12 - WOMAN live at Christmas in Spiceworld Lets see if they post anything about it during the day. For now... here it finally is x
  24. That is exactly what will happen lol What we know: - WOMAN is the video released tonight as it has been discovered by fans on YouTube (I will only post it once it is 'launched' though) - The videos will all become 'listed' either tonight or the next day. - Chris in Spice Circle is hinting at a surprise so maybe it will be some sort of EP or digtal compilation with all the videos. We know that Goodbye (live at CiS) has turned up on Spotify (though it is blocked) so maybe the audio from these videos will also be on streaming platforms like Spotify or something like that Fans are hoping for the studio version of WOMAN to be released as well, but I seriously doubt it. Judging from their track record with these things, I would say they will simply go 'finally after you asked for so long, here is WOMAN' and it will just be the video of its live performance lol... We'll see.. Not long now.. Whatever happens, it is FOR SURE going to be a bloodbath on Spice Circle lol
  25. Day 11 - Wannabe (Live at Christmas in Spiceworld) Lets hope for a proper nice surprise tomorrow! This is my least favourite performance of Wannabe on tour. Even the previous one on this tour was better.... Mel C's screaming the pre-chorus just ruins it for me... But anyway, good to have it on higher quality!
