Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
Honestly the whole thing is so confusing, with so many fan-made variations out there, that I struggle to even have the energy to try and sort out that section on the first page of this thread lol Any help would that would be really appreciated

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
The funny thing is that there are a few variations of rumours about a 'goodbye' type of song around... There was a rumour about a song called 'Bye' that was to be 7mins long or something like this, and this as Don't Forget as well which is over 5mins long... I think they might just be rumours that come from maybe insiders that heard different demos of what would eventually become Goodbye and ran with these stories lol The Don't Forget situation is suspicious but I think the title goes well with the Dunblane massacre-narrative that they were working on first. Not sure about that Morales mix, but I would love to know if it exists at all!

Emma Bunton • General Discussion
All I see is a wasteland of talent over there :( Imagine, wasting it all like this. I really really hope Emma is laying low whilst preparing a potential comeback. You don't sign up to WME management and go back to a label and management team just for the hell of it... She would have had a plan, I would imagine... Or maybe Bunton is secretly masterminding next year's Spice Girls worldwide tour herself, in which case please Bunton work your way through it with patience and gusto, ignore your solo stuff for a while longer and give us the good stuff

WHERE IS EMMA BUNTON????!!!!! Seriously, what the hell... it's the middle of the year pretty much and we've heard nothing, nada at all. She sometimes shares stuff on instagram that she is tagged onto, but that's all we have from her... Is she still doing that radio show?

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
Some more rumoured tracks just came to light (in this but I am choosing to ont really believe this LOL as it sounds too fan-made). I do remember the rumours about Virgin/EMI wanting to release a Greatest Hits called The Spiciest Hits for sure though, and Mel C stating back then that the record company was going to release it anyway even without the group's involvement. I will be put all of these on the rumours lists lol Anyway, the new songs info here is: New song titles "Don't Forget" - early Demo of Goodbye including Geri. Apparently it is a piano-led version that is over 5:20 long. The poster goes to say that the producers at Virgin (lol) mastered it from the original with 'the girls voices filtered' but that just really sounds like made up crap lol and the lyrics sound even worse lol "Make It This Way" - from 1997/1998 - Apparently 20sec clips leaked in 2005 but this is the first Ive heard of this "5 Chances" - from 1997/1998 - Apparently 20sec clips leaked in 2005 but this is the first Ive heard of this Other 'new' information from Virgin's Vaults Never Give Up On The Good Times - Never Give Up On The Good Times (Morales Classic Mix) to be included on the main CD; it was the version that was apparently going to be released with Viva Forever as a double A-side but Morales missed the original deadline - Morales Club mix, Radio Mix and Classic Club Mix, Classic Radio Mix and Dubs exist Viva Forever - Morales Club mix, Radio Mix and Classic Club Mix, Classic Radio Mix and Dubs exist 2 Become 1 - Morales Classic Edit mix exists Who Do You Think You Are - Almighty 2006 Mix exists Too Much - Hani's Club Experience mix exists W.O.M.A.N - Morales Radio Edit exists Source: https://www.ukmix.org/forum/music/the-vault/2000s/29667-spice-girls-the-spiciest-hits?fbclid=IwY2xjawKPNudleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETBVUHVvWGlUc2ZHd1lQYnhIAR51EV9xePSD5Ffjug2rvIoKs6zBv30xd-trPZlRTj3ZxEjOT7vklm_gS5P4dg_aem_RvraqCa60NImyhIPBLoFSA

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
ah damn, thanks! Added it To be honest, I honestly think the SECOND ALBUM session of VB on the main page needs sorting out properly but I am aghast at how different information is out there about it and I cant quite make much sense of it. I do understand that even the songs out there might have been altered by fans before they leaked, as there were discussions on Denden (RIP!!) Forums that the CDs were to be leaked and VB's laywers got involved, so they changed some aspects of the songs before leaking as to avoid lawsuits.... lol Help me please!!

Spice Girls • All Released Songs, Rarities and Demos Lists
also fans are saying on SC that there was a rumoured track done early 1998 called Never Forget which is apparently an early demo for Goodbye done with Geri, Emma and 'another girl' around a piano. I also just came across on Spicenews.com that there were the following reports (rumours): 1998: August: Spice Girls recorded a country/rock song in Nashville (probably lies lol) that was to be their next single 1998: October: All Saints + Spice Girls collaboration for a charity single, a cover of Ain't No Stopping Us Now Take these two with an extremely large pinch of salt! Could of other tid-bits: Rodney Jerkins gave an interview in in late 1998 saying he had had dinner with two of the Spice Girls (probably Emma and Mel C as they were both the active ones during that time) in London and that he was going to London to in January/February 1999 to record some songs with them. You can find the newsreport on Spicenews Jan 1999 page. I think this is the first time I hear about these recordings sessions.... Later in February 1999, Mel C states that the third Spice Girls album will be out in June 1999, saying they have already 'done most of the album'.... that's f***ing insane lol Maybe they did work on quite a few demos in the following sessions: 1998, August: Nashville with Biff/Rowe 1998, Oct-Nov: USA with Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis and Dublin with Biff/Rowe 1999, Jan-Feb: Rodney Jerkins Gosh I really wish we knew more lol

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
this is true. The one showing in the documentary of the 99 tour is definitely a pop-dance track. Plus in that very documentary, Victoria and Mel B say the album is a mix of genres from pop, to r'n'b and acoustic sounds, and they say all three new tracks will be on the album. It is clear that Darkchild took the extra producing duties in early 2000 so they went on to record more with him in Spring/Summer 2000. I don't remember where the info of the Darkchild version of WOMAN came from, but I think it was Biff hinting at there being more versions? It is funny because I think there might be even more demos/songs recorded from the 1999-2000 sessions that we have no idea about. I doubt only like 3 songs came from that... I'd love to hear more or at least know more!

Favourite solo Spice #1 - Round 3
Na.... over the years ive come to appreciate When You're Gone but Look At Me is trashy, sorry. It put me off Geri straight away, it sounded just like a marketing gimmick.

Favourite solo Spice #1 - Round 3
I Want You Back is such a f***ing great song! It is one of my most listened to Spice-related tracks. Plus, THAT VIDEO IS A CLASSIC!!! I would comfortably say that it is the best solo debut song from any of the girls. Better than Look At Me, What I Am, Out of Your Mind and When You're Gone put together! What a vibe!! Just incredible work from Mel B!

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
f*** I forgot about that lol I kind of want them to do it all - the Darkchild version, the original demo and the live version lol f*** it they did that with Step To Me didn't they?....

Spice Girls - Remixes and Covers Anthology
So there's a bit of chatter on the supposedly extended mix of Never Give Up On The Good Times and I came back to this thread to see if we can get some sense on this particular track to see if we can get some sense into what is real and what isn't! Seemingly, the instrumentals for both Spice and Spiceworld tracks have leaked (does anyone have the links to the proper files or the right YouTube ones? There are a few variations that I am not sure which is which lol....) a while ago and in the NGUOTGT one apparently there are extra production elements around the bridge section that are not in the album track. Then, some fans made their own 'extended' versions and uploaded them. However, based on this pre-release promo CD of Spiceworld, there seems to be two slightly extended versions of both Never Give Up On The Good Times (here labled as Never Give Up and with a running time of 4:54 whereas the album version is 4:30) and The Lady is a Vamp (here actually labelled as Extended and with a running time of 3:21 whereas the album is 3:09) Now, a couple of things that might align with the proper existence of an proper extended mix: I remember reading somewhere (have no idea where, so please take this with a pinch of salt) that Victoria mentioned that an extended version of NGUTGT was her favourite track of the era, or something to this effect. I also remember reading somewhere that the extended track was the basis of the Christmas in Spiceworld version they performed. Plus, another thing is that there was a rumour that there is a Morales version of this track as well! Anyone has any info on this?

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
I just don't think they will do that for a Forever25 edition, sadly. They would have to pay license fees, and some mastering for all those songs which are in demo form and would need extra work done by the original producers, which would cost money to do. We know they and Universal are cheap and won't do it... My hope is that they will at least include WOMAN and do also just remembered that they did Dolby Atmos versions for both Spice and Spiceworld, so I would hope they would also do that for Forever which would be ace!

Spice Girls - 'Greatest Hits'
Yeah it is just a new print of the same GH vinyl, meaning it is still in print (and selling) which is good news at least. Shame about the cover. They could easily sell a bit more with the original cover at least... The fans would all buy it again lol

- Spice Girls - 'Forever'
OK so lets analyse what to expect (and try to bring some positivity to a possible campaign eheh) Judging by the previous 25th anniversary editions, I think they will probably include WOMAN for sure, since they have included in each campaign a 'rare' song that fans had been demanding for ages: Spice25 - Feed Your Love Spiceworld25 - Step To Me (was not on streaming up to this point!) Plus they have included a variety of other material across both releases, regardless of how succesful any of these were: Spice25 - demos and early mixes of most of the album's songs, plus a couple of previously released mixes (2 Become 1 Orchestral and Mama Biffco Mix) and a fan treat 'having fun in the studio' type of track (Spice Chat2) Spiceworld25 - mixes and live versions of all the singles, demo for Step To Me and a 'fan treat' in the form of the Party Mix Now what we could be expecting from Forever25? I think they will probably lead with WOMAN, the holy grail of Spice-fans demands, together with a video to promote it (lyric video or a new edit of the 1999 performance of it). That will probably be their best bet at gathering attention right off the bat for this campaign. Then do a Holler-centered campaign to launch the album as that is the album's hit. Maybe a lyric video for it, or a live version from across the years to be sent out as 'promo' in similar way they did with S25 and SW25 campaigns. Then put out lyric videos for Let Love Lead The Way and Goodbye too and probably call it a day in terms of promo. In terms of the Forever25 album itself, I think they will do some demos, some remixes of Holler (one of the MAW mixes and probably the Lostboy 2019 one!), Goodbye's Orchestral version, maybe the live versions of Right Back At Ya, WOMAN, Holler, LLLTW and Goodbye. I would be happy with this to be honest. I don't think they will do more unreleased songs than WOMAN, so we shouldnt be expecting that at all. Plus, I think including more 'pop songs' from early in the recording sessions would be a disservice to the r'n'b sound they had in the album/era. Leave those for a future Anthology/Rare Spice type of release!- Favourite solo Spice #1 - Round 2
LIES! You know that as soon as Bag It Up is out, we will turn to It's Raining Men to get the boot. Deal with it!- Spice Girls - 'Forever'
yeah I know... urgh...- Spice Girls • General Discussion
I totally agree, it would be such a statement to open with it specially for its 30th anniversary!- Favourite solo Spice #1 - Round 2
You voted for I Want You Back, im sorry Jay but your opinion is really no longer valid 🤐- Spice Girls - 'Forever'
Just read that Holler was remixed by Lostboy in 2019 for the tour 😊 That could mean that it could be included in the Forever25 edition this year if that ever comes out! I would love to see that and a live tour video from the performance 😋 Like, I would love it if for Forever25 they released live videos on youtube of the FIVE tracks they ever performed live from that era: Holler (2019 tour) Let Love Lead The Way (2019 tour) - the arrangement was stunning here and it is the only proper full rendition they ever did live of this song right? Right Back At Ya (Christmas in Spiceworld tour, 1999) Goodbye (either 2019 or the 2007 tour with all five of them) WOMAN (Christmas in Spiceworld tour, 1999) but only if they remaster the audio and polish the quality of those videos lol - Spice Girls - 'Forever'
