To be honest, even when she was #1 in Portugal album charts, her two gigs she did here at the time we massive flops lol both were like half sold... and then she was meant to come in 2022 for a fake gay music festival that was cancelled (literally, it was a scam lol) so she probably doesn't have a promoter here... Portugal is a strange music market... acts like Charli XCX and Lorde would have no issue playing their own gigs elsewhere but here they are confined to festival line ups... I would imagine that Mel C could probably do the same though, but maybe she isn't 'cool' enough for that here?

What is funny is that GEM, as a 3-piece, back in 2016 when Spice nostaligia wasnt necessarily at its hight, did get BOOKED for Hyde Park headline gig (which is huge), were in talks to have a TV show around them (another thing that is huge) and were making music... Indeed, the idea of a 3-piece Spice seems to be mainly illusive in their own heads... Mel C is the stumbling block to that, for sure. She has her own solo career going on and she is well known for NOT wanting to record new music with the Spice Girls, which from what we know as been one of the stumbling blocks of most reunions since the year 2000! She seems to want only nostalgia tours with all 5 or at least 4 or nothing else. If Mel C would ever come around to the idea of a 3 piece with Emma and Mel C - SEEEMINGLY the 2 Spice Girls she is closest too!!! - then I think we could have really something worthwhile going on. But Mel is too focused on her solo music and she seems very much based in Australia right now. I don't see her coming around to the idea of actually focusing on committing to a 3-piece adventure. Shame though. If there is a 3-piece that would work, it would be the two Mels and Emma.

I don't know how to feel about it to be honest... Parts of it are fun, parts of it are well produced, parts of it are just cringe.

Love her! Though wonder why she isn't there??? Where is she? I bet that would have been a great event for her to take Tate to. To be honest, I hope Emma and Mel B do more visible campaigning for trans people. Between them, Emma is the only one who every now and then shares a story on instagram but neither of them ever put themselves out there too much for the community. They could be protecting their children but I don't know... Both Tate and Angel are quite visible already...

This question is going around at the moment - and to be honest it often does since Gerita seemingly has stopped any chances of touring again. This time, the question of a 3 piece reunion came up because of the announcement of a new Pussycat Dolls tour with only 3 members (whereas they used to be 7, then 5 now 3 lol)... In the past, various bands have done it with lesser members or even replacing some. Westlife sold out massive stadiums across the wrodl with only three members, recently. So did Take That, Danity Kane (US girlband sold out an arena tour just last year!), etc. The Spice Girls themselves, while a different type of band, sold out a massive Stadium Tour without the member that is arguably the most famous (and who got the biggest cheers and attention, by a clear mile, during their previous tour!) Then, back in 2016 they were actually booked for Hyde Park and a potential tour after, as GEM! Without arguably their biggest member and the member that everyone says is 'the one that can sing'... that's f***ing wild. For a while, they were being taken seriously, back in the studio for new music and everything... And this was before the massive nostalgia feeling that the world has for them, which only became more tangible with time. That's girlpower right there and show how much leverage them as a band can have still. So let's consider this possibility. Imagine that Gerita has said 'No More Spice Girls for me. Only re-editions of Spice and Spiceworld every 10 years and merchanside deals'. Mel B, Emma and Mel C decide to give it a go. They go in the studio to make new music with some new producers like Mark Ronson (who said it himself he would do it!) and also a session or two with Biff. They release an EP and then announce: Headline gig at Hyde Park, with warm up acts like Flo, KATSEYE, etc An Arena tour in the UK, USA, Canada and some key territories like Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Germany and Italy. Hell, take it to Poland and Scandinavia as well. Alongside the tour, they do some big festivals across Europe. Primavera Sound (Barcelona), NOS Alive (Portugal), etc... Then, depending on how it all goes, they could go back in the studio and do a proper album, and finish it all up with maybe a set of more shows and TV documentaries, etc. Would you be up for this?

For the past 30 years she has consistently told us it is her favourite Spice Girls song. She said so when she sang it on CDUK, she said so when she sang it throughout the Free Me promo campaign, she said it again during the Return of the Spice Girls Tour, then she said it again various times over the years during her Heart FM radio show (hell she even sang it with James Corden but I am not including it here f*** that!), the she also said it on BBCRadio 2, then she said it again when she performed it live with Robbie Williams, then she said it again when she performed it with Mel C various times, and THEN when she RELEASED IT AS A DUET WITH ROBBIE WILLIAMS ON MY HAPPY PLACE SLAPPING US ALL IN THE FACE WITH SUCH TREACHERY! then she said it again during the My Happy Place promo tour, and then she said it again during the Spiceworld 2019 Tour live at Wembley Stadium... Then she took a few months out of mentioning it... only to... Mentioning it again in her 2019 half-full Royal Albert Hall show Emma & Friends, then she DID say it again throughout the pandemic when she went back to Heart FM, only to then say it AGAIN when she went on her own (flop....) Christmas Tour in 2023 where she performed it live again but this time beautifully with Will Young. NOT CONTENT WITH IT, she mentioned it again when she covered it AGAIN with the Budapest Orchestra in a one-off single release that flopped to high heavens. So.... by this time, we are maybe a biiiiiit too bored with Emma's obsession with 2 Become 1 over the years. We know she owns better songs from the Spice catalogue. She leads on Viva Forever and Goodbye, both better by clear miles. YET she insists on 2 Become 1!! yeah I do understand what you are saying on the design front, it's really crap and same old same old from Bravado... I do like the non-coloured ones better than the coloured one to be honest. Apparently I was wrong and it is selling quite well with most of the high price limited editions in Gold and Silver almost gone!!! There are only 4 left of the gold coin that costs £10,000 (out of 30), £250 print limited to 150 has 30 left, £837.50 coin in black box limited to 250 has 15 left £345 coin limited to 500 has 202 left £5,320 coin limited to 96 has 17 left £1,360 coin limited to 200 has 49 left The collectors are collecting lol maybe this was a good thing for them to do in the end as they will get a bit of money from this. Maybe I should invest in coins???!!!

Seems like to have gone like a bit of a damp squib lol... while many publications have writen about it, the overall reception is a bit muted... Even Mel C or Victoria are yet to share anything about it, which I find very strange. Both of them - all of them - were so enthusiastic about the Legos and the Stamps, but now that something like this comes out, that is properly for Legends only, they are muted... TBH same... I am impressed however with the amount of 'limited' editions... each of the individual packaged coins is a limited edition of 15,000 coins 😅 That's 45,000 coins just for those editions that are all the same but with different covers on the packaging... then another 5,000 'limited edition' coins at £180... They cant even sell that in terms of their music nowadays, it seems quite a lot and for quite a lot of money... I would be very surprised if anything sells out at all...
