I was just saying this because they clearly decided that it wasnt worth wasting their time on this Forever anniversary because apparently (according to the fans in the know), they are focusing on next year's 30th where they can get more attention... But yeah... poor Forever. What an album, so badly treated by (some of) the girls from the very beginning...

The Spice Girls / Pitch Perfect cosplay is a bit lame though and Rebel Wilson is not someone I would go for when it comes to comedy but.. i guess it will make mel c some cash, so good for her I guess?

It feels like a proper slap in the face to be honest... here's some hope for the 30th anniversary of Forever in 5 years at least lol I doubt they will be plagged by more reunion rumours by then and certainly their excuse of 'the 30th anniversary of Wannabe is next year so we'll focus on that instead' wont work for Wannabe's 35th anniversary lol

In their last newsletter they announced that we weren't getting any 'demos or unreleased songs for Forever25 and we will simply get this shitty vinyl but don't worry because Christmas is around the corner' Well... Girls Aloud have been flopping with their anniversary releases BUT they just announced a special stand alone Christmas release of their Christmas edition of their Chemestry album on CD and Vinyl with unreleased mixes and unseen pictures... Let's see what our girls have 'around the corner for Christmas' for us as they promised 🤭

Interesting developments! Seems like the Netflix drama by the same team who did The Crown is going ahead. The writer is also amazing, a big deal. More interestingly, it seems like they overruled Geri and agreed to support the project, which Netflix had been waiting for and has been reported on before. I like that it should be a 'majority rule' rather than a 5-or-nothing rule to be honest. Northern Star is still her best, I think it is gorgeous and a work of art. Sweat is fun and it is probably tied to second place with Version of Me and then The Sea (never liked it, it is clearly photoshopped and quite bad at that lol). This Time and Stages are equally bad! I wish that if they were bothered to do a sit-down podcast between these four, that they would talk and discuss things that actually grab people's attentions. You have two musicians, a comedian and an author together in a room: TALK ABOUT POP CULTURE! Talk about the current music releases, or mainstream discussions... I don't know, talk about Taylor Swift's new music, or JADE's... or even Mel C's... This is just vapid crap. You have to be really invested in these four people to really want to sit down and listen/watch about how and why they are friends. Even as a Bunton-mega fan, I simply couldn't give a shit lol

A few days in and the YouTube channel of the Unlikely Friends podcast has only 526 subscribers and the first episode only 3,200 views... Maybe it could be more successful on Podcast platforms since it is on Global Radio but it doesnt look good does it? Lol... it will end after the first season for sure... I watched the video for a few minutes and totally lost interest. What an odd, odd project...

Yeah this is what I find weird... she was going on about how much he is involved and how important he was, specially since he had turned Kylie's career around, etc... There was a whole article/interview about it but I guess she changed her mind? unless he was in the production rather than writing this time?... or his songs will be on a delux?- he might have been the executive producer of the album... we have to wait.

Ive put NA for both. I will probably end up getting a vinyl when it is released but I don't know yet where I will be living around that time, so I would rather not pre-order for now.
