  1. Bring it on bitch!! :yahoo:
  2. Incredible numbers, thank you Spice Girls Net :w00t:
  3. Oh really? I missed that entirely :teresa: It does need to get added to some big playlists though! Those Throwback playlists always do well to boost numbers, and it could do well there!
  4. Happy New Spicy Year BuzzJack girlies  Really hope they do something this year around the documentary release. A world tour seems ideal but I somewhat doubt it will be a massive one, unless Gerita ditches her books and Mel C scraps her album... Im glad Spice Up Your Life is getting around, at least in 'media' terms. It is not translating into massive streams though, sadly apart from when itw as included in that Barbie soundtrack... I wish it would stream much more, specially as it has been featured in such massive things like Doctor Who which was a bit viral a couple of weeks ago. Personaly I feel it should be more of a New Years Playlist staple than Wannabe ah... But then again, I think that about most of their uptempo singles LOL
  5. According to PopCrave on Twitter/X, Wannabe has passed the 1Billion streams on Spotify :cheer: https://x.com/PopCrave/status/1741104594195726364?s=20
  6. That statement was an exageration, of course they do get it - as explained in the posts before that. But as singers they get quite little in terms of royalties - it is in the writing that you get the most royalties, and they are not credited as writers.
  7. Yeah it is quite odd isn't it? I would imagine they did all a bit, but then for credits clearance, they didnt bother much with adding their own credits. It was, at the time, only a b-side that probably would be forgotten forever more after its inclusion in one CD of Goodbye. Had they imagined it would take off on streaming (the concept of it didnt even exist at the time lol) they definitely would have added it lol It is probably why none of them even bother to mention it. They get no money from it's success lol
  8. Two cute songs but I gotta be honest - they are quite of their time. Just listened to This Groove and honestly I'm not bothered to listen to it again  Vicky's solo album was better!
  9. I believe that up until Geri left, they used to split everything equally but after that, they started to get individually paid according to their input on any given song/album as most artists do. I remember reading somewhere that this was due to if they were still credited as 'Spice Girls' in the writing credits (as they were in the original albums), rather than individually, Geri would still get royalties for sales of songs/albums she wasnt a part of, hence the individual accreditation after she left. When it comes to singer-royalties, that's a different thing as the publishing works differently there. So I would imagine that the group gets royalties from that song and then gets distributed equality between all. They don't have writing credits on that song though, so they wont get any from it. All in all, they are probably each seeing like £100 per year each from the song's streams across streaming platforms, radio play and the odd sale here and there. If they were credited as writers too, Emma and Mel C would be getting a bit more.
  10. Exactly. Often in groups this happens, even in boybands and it is more about the song itself than the group. Anyway, it is very much a Spice song and the record label should do a lyric video for it at least! It doesnt even need to mention that it is only Emma and Mel C
  11. Christmas Wrapping will probably end up with 11million by the end of the year right? Or is it done now that Christmas is over over? Quite amazing that they have a little Christmas hit in their hands. They would be clever to capitalise on it next year properly with at least a lyric video or some acknowlegement of the song online. Hell, Universal should be aiming for it to be placed in Christmas playlists every year, and for it to be included in Christmas CD compilations. It did like 4million streams on Spotify this year right? And it plays on Radio2 all the time. Thats pretty good! They could really tap into that market
  12. Cute  Though it is sad that it is only their second non-single to reach such a milestone though, other than Never Give Up On The Good Times (dserved!)
  13. Yeah, but if the girls had done a Goodbye25 campaign, we probably would have seen one
  14. JUSTICE!!! Goodbye should be in their Top5 at all times and be well over 1billion streams, and Mama relegated to the Top 30 :teresa:
  15. Cute. Thanks sammy x
  16. Well last year it was the fans who were pissed at Spiceworld25 not bringing any unreleased tracks, from what I remember :teresa: So this year since they could avenge Goodbye25 and give us Overnight 1999 demo, to make up for the lack of appreciation the girls have consistently shown us with their releases. No it is true, we deserve this for Christmas and it is about time those sad Spice Elite bast*rds will brings us some christmas JOY!
  17. I didnt expect much at all, but a Lyric video with the theme of the frozen house from the video would have been cute. That's all I expected to be honest... We got a 30sec video of a mimed performance from Top of the Tops 1998 in a tweet instead..
  18. My favourite version is definitely the Earls' Court one. I think the arrangement and vocals really work there and it is overall a gorgeous performance. After that, probably the Brits' version followed by the 2019 tour, where it really sounded amazing again!
  19. Poor Goodbye :( It deserves so much better than what the girls and Universal give it... Here's some stellar moments from over the years that truly showcase what a gorgeous MOMENT in pop history it is. What is your favourite performance from Goodbye? wdgV4S4zAxs Hmy2nqxIcGs v_WDk7dLIoc fRtwLanxFwo 3ROQthj2gTk WXItDpZ6Exg And whislt I dont love the mix, here is a great celebratory video from LipeHall: ioCXtTbe3vk
  20. Well, I hope this isn't the anniversary celebration we get for Goodbye  @1735238344722833423 If that's it, I'm pretty pissed off... I didn't expect a vinyl or even merch this time but AT LEAST a lyric video damn... This does NOT bode well for Forever 25 :snif:
  21. Nice! Although I wish Goodbye would get that playlist placement
  22. This would be so perfect DAMN why can't we have nice things?? They could even go out on a limb and put their Christmas Medley from Earl's Court on there too at the end :teresa:
  23. Where do you contact them to flag these things up? I would love to send them an email with some suggestions actually lol But GOOD that the Spotify page will get an update... that profile picture really needs to go and their official playlists need a tidying up
  24. Fun fact, it isnt even in the official Spice at Christmas playlist on their Spotify page
