  1. FINALLY an anniversary post with an actual link to proper content -_- @1734166215784911012 Also, Too Much (Alternate version) is almost at 1million views, making it the second most successful video release from the Spiceworld25 series :teresa: NPy2Lvr7B4Q Now lets get Spice Up Your Life and the Step To Me and Move Over videos to get more views please! It is SAD that the most interesting ones that actually provided new content have been left to dry  And no, I dont care for that awful Never Give Up On The Good Times video, it sucks ass
  2. That is my prefered order of their Christmas singles :cheer:
  3. They are getting roasted on Spice Circle... I think the fans have had enough of so little care from the girls... Also, Ive seen that they haven't really sold that much merch recently as nothing other than a few key items (Rubix Cube, Christmas Globe, ect) as really sold out. On USA website they still even have the individual Spice25 vinyls and merch widely available -_- It's not really looking great, is it?.... Time to really do something girls...
  4. The proper, ideal time for a Christmas single would have been in 1999 in my opinion, accompanied by a Christmas EP and it would have given them a 4th Christmas #1 or at least give them another really good seller/streamer... I personally think that boat has sailed..
  5. Well, I hust checked how much it would cost to buy it and have it shipped to Portugal from Spain and the cheapest I can get it is around €40 all together, so unless it drastically reduces, I doubt I will bother either lol... Sorry Bunton, but is the same vinyl and design apart from the colour of the actual vinyl, so I wont bother for now
  6. Yep, I agree! Definitely needs a couple of unreleased tracks at least. And a cover with a much better design than the attrocity that was SW25 (im sorry but the lame fake metalic was such a piss take! Why not continue with the white-cover that Spice25 had?!!!) Also, strangely they have individually shown more love for Forever on their social medias than they have with Spiceworld25  Even Gerita promoted the Forever 20th anniversary vinyl on her insta back in 2020, whereas I dont think she or Emma even mentioned Spiceworld25  so you never know :teresa:
  7. Hopefully they have learnt from Spiceworld25 failures. First that they need to actually do something (the lack of any promo from any of them was so dark....), then that they must listen to the fans about actual incentives and do a proper release. Forever will need a bit of help, more than Spice25 and Spiceworld25 ever did. Those releases probably made up costs at least, since they were clearly done on the cheap lol A few social media posts from each of them AT LEAST would help. With Spiceworld25, I believe all we got was a an instagram story from a couple of them and nothing else, plus the reaction to the bad quality of the release didn't help either. A lot of fans didn't get most of the versions. So yeah, a tour would help. A bit of attention to detail would also help.
  8. It's most probably a frustrating relationship rather than necessarily 'not getting along' but I guess we'll never know. Biff did signal during the Spice15 campaign that for us to 'think about the timeline of releases' when talking about Woman being shared, meaning Forever 25 was probably planned. I hope it does come to light. If the group is indeed about to stage a comeback, Forever 25 will probably happen.
  9. Well... Merch Part II has finally dropped :P https://store.thespicegirls.com
  10. who knows'.... all I know is that there have been mentions here and on other forums of some of the girls not agreeing/greenlighting things on time. It's good that they have so much control/power but it sucks for us though lol...
  11. OK so this is my opinion ONLY but... 1) Probably the lack of interest in the girls themselves on anything that doesn't bring a few million each doesn't help?.... They are notoriously disorganised and uninterested, often one or two of them missing deadlines for votes and approving things (as been stated a few times). Plus, the fact their contract means that ALL of them have to agree, even Victoria, makes it hard to get anything through, since most of the time they are not invested enough to care. 2) But also, on the other hand, Universal could easily provide them with a new recording offer, and see if they are interested now in taking anything forward, or at least offer to get them together in a studio and see how it all works. But those offers wont come in at the level they were used to from back in the 90s, which doesn't guarantee them millions anymore. 3) Thirdly, I think Simon is a stumbling block. He is not the kind of manager that will entice them to get together for new music unless there are guaranteed vast profit from it, which is such a mistake. He's a bit of dinosaur, and you can tell by his other business ventures over the last 20 years. So doubt he much cares for the Universal relationship because it also doesnt bring the guaranteed success he wants in order to do much. He knows a tour will sell and bring a lot of money in, and provide avenues for more comercial ads which in turn also bring more money. 4) The girls themselves. For some reason they are adverse to do new music, so Universal only sees them as a nostalgia act and that's not a priority because they don't have a 360-deal like other artists, where Universal can profit from the tour as well. Universal only gets money from the official merch and the music sales, which both can be sold on tour and around a tour, but unless the girls themselves go on tour, there's no incentive to do much from Universal. Basically, they need to make new music and maybe the relationship can be stronger.
  12. Another clue that something will definitely happen, this time by Gerita again. She mentions, as an answer to a reunion with a tour and a Glastonbury headline slot, that it is a great idea and that it deserves to happen! clusXxYHYBA I would say they are currently in discussions :teresa:
  13. Great that it is having another boost and seemingly getting some push from the record company, since it is being played on radio as well!
  14. Happiest of Birthdays to the amazing Life in Mono, the most underrated of solo-Spice albums and one of their masterpieces (Emma's only other masterpiece, to be fair!). A gorgeous album, unfortunately met by a terrible release schedule/promo strategy. But nonetheless, quality prevails. It might not be the most radio friendly, but it was certainly stellar. It really needs to be put on streaming, for once! Some highlights for me: All I Need to Know (Album version) Probably the most beautiful solo-Spice ballad, to this day. It's just stunning and gorgeous. Reminds me of the first day of autumn. uql71eeI01E Life in Mono I love me some moody Bunton and this is her at her best. It is also probably her best cover to date as well, and it really suited her. 2Go098j7ifM Take Me To Another Town The lost single. It would have been a perfect first single for the album, and it will always bother me that she didn't use it at all. RLVlMh7zP7E Undressing You A perfect Spring single, it should have followed on after the release of the album instead. It would have been amazing with a gorgeous sensuous video. IQ5cEodl8q4 I'm Not Crying Over Yesterdays I LOVE this song so much, it's a gorgeous little gem, and seems to have a more moody-but-poppy side of Bunton which is perfect fit for her. Personally I loved the demo version that leaked before the album although that is really nowhere to be seen right now. MXgyZFQ_dtM All That You'll Be Although I prefer All I Need To Know, I definitely think this would have been a better fit as 'the' ballad single from the album. It's so so gorgeous, definitely one of her best. Ht8GfdHE268 Overall, I do think it is a gorgeous album and I often put it on, more than any other solo-Spice offering as you can both listen to it attentively or put it on whilst you clean the house, do some gardening, etc ehhe  It showed Emma has a developing artist beyond the 'straight up pop hits' that she had gone in before, and into a more-mature version of the Free Me sound. Definitely an album to be appreciated as a whole rather than with some quick singles. STREAM IT (for the UK fans) STREAM IT (for the international fans) YouTube Playlist:
  15. Urgh, the fact that their team has a difficult relationship with Universal is so dissapointing. It was so obvious during the 2019 tour when their catalogue was kind of let to dry apart from that mediocre GH release. A big missed opportunity there, imo. Spice25 was a bit of a step in the right direction with partnerships developed with Spotify and Apple Music, but it seemed to fall flat again for Spiceworld25 last year. It doesnt really bode well to be honest, to the future. I wish they would take their masters back and develop a team that actually champions their music and career, as so many other artists do. In terms of the merch f*** up, yeah that really sucks. Hopefully they can release it this week at least. Merch is usually a big money earner but also so many issues with other artists' merch shipping, it is definitely not just a Spice-related issue.
  16. I went to see them live once and was considering asking for a refund  But yes, you're right about public perception vs reality. At least the Spice Girls put on a good show though :teresa:
  17. In other news, Girls Aloud just launched a very Spice-inspired (no music, nostalgia tour ONLY) Tour and it is selling out, with an extra 14 dates added due to demand. It doesnt even touch the Spice Girls of course, but if Butlins-level Girls Aloud can do this, can you imagine what a Spice-reunion world-wide tour will do? To be honest, I was thinking that Girls Aloud wouldn't sell that well, cos their re-release of The Sound of the Underground wasn't THAT successful either - and their streams/social media reach is pretty lackluster. Just goes to show that streaming/sales/online presence doesnt always mean success!! Good for them though... I do worry for those gays and hun dos paying £200+ for standard seats for a GIRLS ALOUD show, damn... have some self-respect people! You're paying for glorified karaoke
  18. Imagine paying Gary f***ing Barlow to 'entertain'
  19. Emma and Gerita reunited last night for Christian's birthday surprise party, and apparently they all gathered around a piano to sing too! Now, if only we would get a song with Emma, Geri, Gary Barlow, Rod Stewart and that Rolling Stone guy  Wait, actually that doesnt sound like something that should happen, it sounds like it would be terrible.. like, this looks like a geriatric Tory Party HQ Christmas do... :teresa: Nightmare -_-
  20. Girlies, there is no way the 5 of them will do a 50-date World tour. Vicky is completely over that and at best she will do ONE date only somewhere special. At best, they will do a World tour with current 4-piece + Glastonbury with 5 of them, and thats it. What most probably will happen is the Netflix documentary with all 5 + a World Tour with the 4 of them.
  21. Crossing my fingers this is true!!
  22. Mel C gives it *another* strong hint that the Spice Girls will be back on tour, this time by saying in Brazil 'Spice Girls love you Brazil and we hope to see you all together very very soon'... Seems like quite consistent hinting by some of them lately to be honest :teresa: A proper world tour with Autralia and Brazil included would be incredible for sure! @1728849190271492483
  23. We shall hope!
  24. Anyway, they will certainly drop new 'merch' this week so that we can all moan and complain a bit more again :P
  25. The whole thing was crap, lets be honest. It looked shit and tacky, not just Gerita. Yes it was probably better quality than most of what you get from their online store, but it was still lame as hell.
