  1. Yeah I have come to realise this will probably be it too, although I would love at least a 2CD set like they did for Spice25 and Spiceworld to finish the set. I'm not fussed at another vinyl as the 20th anniversary vinyl was really well done and sounded gorgeous (better than the design, packaging and production on Spice25 and Spiceworld25!) so I am happy with that release as it is. Some fans 'in the know' said an announcement of 'something small' is coming and pointed towards this coming... I would imagine Monday or Tuesday for an announcement works well. If they do nothing, I think the fans will be very upset lol
  2. The KPOPPED Say You'll Be There version is now available. The production on this, and on Wannabe, is terrible, sorry... Mel B rocks the chorus on this but overall their voices are so muted... I thought at least Wannabe was interesting but this is terrible
  3. It was all over the showbiz news for a while last year I think... take that as you wish but there were a few articles on how she tarnished the Starbucks deal by demanding it to be labelled Geri Latte, as well as that she had put a stop to the Netflix documentary and a drama TV series based on the Spice Girls because she wanted to do her own....
  4. OK at least it doesnt look like she is poking fun at the Spice Girls or her singing, so far! I will watch the first episode and then probably swich off when it gets to the fashion stuff I saw some people complimenting the fact she is crying as a vulnerability thing, but honestly it falls flat to me when she is crying about not being recognised enough while sitting on the balcony of her multi-million massion with a massive land of her country estate behind her. I don't know...
  5. I cant find any info on this, sadly...
  6. Was just perusing PopJustice and in the Sugababes forum someone posted this. Apparently, in September 2001, Sugababes had been in the studio recording (the day before this interview) what was to be a Christmas charity single with Emma as well as other acts such as A1 and Anastasia 🤔 From what they say here, it sounds like the song was recorded. But do we have any info at all on what it might be?
  7. knowing them, I wouldnt expect more than a Wannabe set lol or Gerita with the union jack (AGAIN!)
  8. Spice Girls Funko Pops are coming next Spring apparently. Probably part of the 30th anniversary celebrations. Outside of the LEGO partnership, this is probably the most interesting merchandise partnership they have done since 2018 lol Funko Pop are everywhere and really popular, so hopefully it will do well
  9. HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY to the iconic, stunning I Want You Back!! It is a true classic in my house and showed so much potential for Mel B!
  10. BBC4 just broadcasted this classic performance and made me feel all the feels again... Probably one of the most bittersweet moments in Pop history. The last performance of them (at the time) of Viva Forever, one of the best and most beautiful songs ever writen. You can tell they were exhausted here, touring and promoting all the time, non-stop, had really taken a toll. Geri seems completely out of it, like she is going to a funeral. Still, what a classic, what a song! What a video. It's just iconic. You can download the performance video (credit to Craig Rogers-Bennett on Spice Circle) here: https://mega.nz/file/oAgREKSA#OoXjWpHQihgsFruF03VofW2B-9Tfh84jM2C36XZYxdA
  11. Yeah me too. Such a f***ing downgrade... Specially since Victoria will not dive into her music career that much other than a few moments on how she used to be a popstar etc... if it was a documentary about that, I would lap it up! Alas... I coud see Emma being in it as they seem close, same with Mel C. Anyway, I will wait to see what the documentary is about and then see if I can be bothered. Question: is this a 1-episode documentary or a series?
  12. Mr.X posted a post in a topic in Spice Girls's Spice Girls
hmmmm.... interesting she collaborated with the guy from Hurts. I am hoping the song is good, but the Hurts were very 10 years ago and the sample makes me think this will be very camp in a way that might be cringe... Anyway, hope she finds success with it
  13. She's going to be on Rosie Gray's new album A Little Louder, Please (Deluxe) October 24 Song: 'First (featuring Melanie C' Might this be from the Melanie C sessions? They worked together then, I seem to remember, but the songs never turned up anywhere before. Being part of a Delux, it might be that Rosie wanted to use some of the left overs she had laying around
  14. It is the reason I discovered YouTubeMusic as well eheheh I deleted my Spotify account because the CEO of that company is literally funding genocide in Palestine and investing in ams sales across Europe. Plus, the quality of the music is f***ing horrible. Plus, Spotify is one of the platforms that pays artists the least, whereas Apple Music, YouTubeMusic and Tidal seem the best for artist income and have better sound quality overall. YouTubeMusic seems like the best next thing for me! I am toying between that and Apple Music at the moment
  15. I just discovered that YouTube Music is a whole different thing from youtube.com lol It's almost like a Spotify version of YouTube where the focus is on the tracks but also you can also watch videos there... The video streams seem the same as the YouTube.com page but the music is different! They have millions of plays there too... for instance: Wannabe 1 billion streams Viva Forever 153million Say You'll Be There 126million Spice Up Your Life 64million 2 Become 1 105million Stop 85million Who do You Think You Are 47million Too Much 40million Mama 45million Goodbye 40million Holler 32million LLLTW 9million Headlines 7million They also have 85million regular listeners of their music which is incredible! It's quite something, I think! Plus all the videos. Considering YouTubeMusic is quite a recent streaming platform, it looks like they do really well there
  16. hold on to your knickers girls, it seems like Emma's two management teams and record lable are doing great things behind the scenes and we will see the results soon 🥲 Alan Carr and Emma Bunton eyed for rollercoaster singing show Alan Carr and Emma Bunton are being lined up for a bizarre new reality competition. The 49-year-old comic and the Spice Girls singer have reportedly been approached to host Sing If You Want To Go Faster, where contestants will ride rollercoasters and try to sing in tune at the same time, with the project currently being shopped around different networks and streaming services. A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: “The makers of this new show are lining up Alan and Emma to host and now they’re looking for the perfect home for this show. “ITV has been offered it and now it’s going over to streamers like Netflix to see if they want to take it on. “Sing If You Want To Go Faster is a really mad idea but it will be laugh-out-loud funny and perfect to watch at home with your mates or your family. “It’s very simple — people get strapped into a rollercoaster and have to sing. “Given they’re being belted around at 100mph, singing in tune is a nightmare and remembering the lyrics won’t be easy. “The show comes from the creators of The Masked Singer and they think it could be a hit." Alan and Emma, 49, are seen as the ideal hosting combination for the show. The insider added: “They want Emma for her singing experience and Alan for his hilarious one-liners. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/alan-carr-emma-bunton-eyed-070000252.html?guccounter=2 (luckily it sounds like the show is struggling to be picked up lol hope it never happens cos... this is shite)
  17. Yep... they clearly blame the lack of interest on us... also the atrocious quality prevented many fans from buying it, and they did f*** all promo for it...
  18. They posted a Holler performance on their TikTok + Instagram, seemingly this might be a premonition that something is coming! So like it on their socials... https://www.instagram.com/stories/spicegirls/3717830818665117287/?utm_source=ig_story_item_share At this point, since the fans in the know on Spice Circle mentioned no vinyl (which would be the most profitable release!), I am not expecting much at all. Maybe a digital release only + some merch? Sadly, I have come to the conclusion/expectation that no unreleased tracks will be included in this, if indeed there is a release happening around the album... I would love to have Holler being a strong focus. It's so modern sounding still, and often goes viral so I hope they do some nice incentives for people to go back to the song!
  19. Just realised there are much more items in their official SG store including key rings, waterbotles, etc https://store.thespicegirls.com/ Is anyone getting anything? I was tempted by the rugby balls but naa, not gonna get anything
  20. There's an article out there on the Daily Mail (not linking) that states 'There have been rumours swirling for months, but Geri has always been too busy and had other things on, preventing her from saying yes. 'Nothing is yet confirmed but Geri and Simon are back in touch with a myriad of exciting ideas.' .......
  21. Red Roses, not Red Nose Day 😉 Still... all f***ing pointless...
  22. (Ignore this! I saw you updated the list)
  23. I know...
  24. Emma and Mel B also performed the song Gold by Itzy
  25. Apparently it was a mistake and it will be released properly on Friday 5th September
