Mr.X

hmmmm.... interesting she collaborated with the guy from Hurts. I am hoping the song is good, but the Hurts were very 10 years ago and the sample makes me think this will be very camp in a way that might be cringe... Anyway, hope she finds success with it

She's going to be on Rosie Gray's new album A Little Louder, Please (Deluxe) October 24 Song: 'First (featuring Melanie C' Might this be from the Melanie C sessions? They worked together then, I seem to remember, but the songs never turned up anywhere before. Being part of a Delux, it might be that Rosie wanted to use some of the left overs she had laying around

It is the reason I discovered YouTubeMusic as well eheheh I deleted my Spotify account because the CEO of that company is literally funding genocide in Palestine and investing in ams sales across Europe. Plus, the quality of the music is f***ing horrible. Plus, Spotify is one of the platforms that pays artists the least, whereas Apple Music, YouTubeMusic and Tidal seem the best for artist income and have better sound quality overall. YouTubeMusic seems like the best next thing for me! I am toying between that and Apple Music at the moment

I just discovered that YouTube Music is a whole different thing from youtube.com lol It's almost like a Spotify version of YouTube where the focus is on the tracks but also you can also watch videos there... The video streams seem the same as the YouTube.com page but the music is different! They have millions of plays there too... for instance: Wannabe 1 billion streams Viva Forever 153million Say You'll Be There 126million Spice Up Your Life 64million 2 Become 1 105million Stop 85million Who do You Think You Are 47million Too Much 40million Mama 45million Goodbye 40million Holler 32million LLLTW 9million Headlines 7million They also have 85million regular listeners of their music which is incredible! It's quite something, I think! Plus all the videos. Considering YouTubeMusic is quite a recent streaming platform, it looks like they do really well there

hold on to your knickers girls, it seems like Emma's two management teams and record lable are doing great things behind the scenes and we will see the results soon 🥲 Alan Carr and Emma Bunton eyed for rollercoaster singing show Alan Carr and Emma Bunton are being lined up for a bizarre new reality competition. The 49-year-old comic and the Spice Girls singer have reportedly been approached to host Sing If You Want To Go Faster, where contestants will ride rollercoasters and try to sing in tune at the same time, with the project currently being shopped around different networks and streaming services. A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: “The makers of this new show are lining up Alan and Emma to host and now they’re looking for the perfect home for this show. “ITV has been offered it and now it’s going over to streamers like Netflix to see if they want to take it on. “Sing If You Want To Go Faster is a really mad idea but it will be laugh-out-loud funny and perfect to watch at home with your mates or your family. “It’s very simple — people get strapped into a rollercoaster and have to sing. “Given they’re being belted around at 100mph, singing in tune is a nightmare and remembering the lyrics won’t be easy. “The show comes from the creators of The Masked Singer and they think it could be a hit." Alan and Emma, 49, are seen as the ideal hosting combination for the show. The insider added: “They want Emma for her singing experience and Alan for his hilarious one-liners. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/alan-carr-emma-bunton-eyed-070000252.html?guccounter=2 (luckily it sounds like the show is struggling to be picked up lol hope it never happens cos... this is shite)

Yep... they clearly blame the lack of interest on us... also the atrocious quality prevented many fans from buying it, and they did f*** all promo for it...

They posted a Holler performance on their TikTok + Instagram, seemingly this might be a premonition that something is coming! So like it on their socials... https://www.instagram.com/stories/spicegirls/3717830818665117287/?utm_source=ig_story_item_share At this point, since the fans in the know on Spice Circle mentioned no vinyl (which would be the most profitable release!), I am not expecting much at all. Maybe a digital release only + some merch? Sadly, I have come to the conclusion/expectation that no unreleased tracks will be included in this, if indeed there is a release happening around the album... I would love to have Holler being a strong focus. It's so modern sounding still, and often goes viral so I hope they do some nice incentives for people to go back to the song!

Just realised there are much more items in their official SG store including key rings, waterbotles, etc https://store.thespicegirls.com/ Is anyone getting anything? I was tempted by the rugby balls but naa, not gonna get anything

There's an article out there on the Daily Mail (not linking) that states 'There have been rumours swirling for months, but Geri has always been too busy and had other things on, preventing her from saying yes. 'Nothing is yet confirmed but Geri and Simon are back in touch with a myriad of exciting ideas.' .......

Red Roses, not Red Nose Day 😉 Still... all f***ing pointless...

(Ignore this! I saw you updated the list)

I know...

Emma and Mel B also performed the song Gold by Itzy

Apparently it was a mistake and it will be released properly on Friday 5th September

Trying to lighten up the mood because honestly if there is f*** all from them in terms of actual music, I will be so so so pissed off

Added the Wannabe Kpopped TV show version to the Other Releases under Spice Girls. Q: or should this go in the Emma and Mel B sections? Im torned cos while it is credited as Emma, Mel B + Itzy on digital platforms, it has been continuously been presented as Spice Girls & Itzy till now.... What do you think? Hope I am still not missing anything else? Please let me know if I am

I just saw that it was Orange Agent and damn... That crushed me now...

KPOPPED Vol 1 EP is now available for purchase which includes Wannabe by Emma, Mel B and ITZY Quite strange to have them labelled as Spice Girls in the show but here it is credited as the two girls. I would also imagine that the Vol 2 EP will include the Say You'll Be There take. Get buying girlies: iTunes Apple Music - Web PlayerKPOPPED (Apple TV+ Original Series Soundtrack) Vol. 1 by...Album · 2025 · 7 Songs Amazon: https://amazon.co.uk/music/player/albums/B0FPDF2CXJ?marketplaceId=A1F83G8C2ARO7P&musicTerritory=GB&ref=dm_sh_ALVuNNhMkli3iXf8DzQPqYBBr&trackAsin=B0FPDH1M41 I can't find it on Spotify yet

If nothing happens for real, I honestly hope the Forever unreleased tracks that fans have do leak... The last couple of times we had leaks were due to fans being f***ed off that they don't do anything: C U Next Tuesday was leaked as a consequence of no unreleased tracks on Spiceworld25 Sugar & Spice and Melody of Life (and the VB and MC tracks that leaked) were also a consequence of fans online saying 'f*** them if they don't release/do anything with these tracks, so here they are' So yeah, f*** them if they don't release anything for Forever. Let the tracks all leak!

is the person really in the know?... I would be so annoyed if they don't do anything... a new vinyl would have been the very least specially since the 20th anniversary edition sold well in the end (it's like sold out everywhere!)

Strangely the Say You'll Be There performance made me think they could have done SYBT after Holler in the 2019 tour, with those harder suits/costumes. It would have extended that act and take advantage of the vibe which was so differnt from the rest of the show.

Emma and Mel B haven taken part in a South Korean TV show called KPOPED where they have partnered with KPop band ITZY to rework two Spice Girls classics with a Kpop twist: Wannabe and Say You'll Be There. The episode with them is now live on Apple TV, but you can watch the two performances below. There's a link somewhere out there for the full episode but I cant find it... Both songs sound great and will be released on streaming platforms this coming friday 5th September. Will you be buying it??? Don't know if these still classify as 'Spice Girls official releases' or if it will be credited as Emma and Mel B on streaming platforms, but they are being presented here as 'ITZY and the Spice Girls' so we shall see... Nonetheless, we have a couple of new tracks to download this week ladies, let's get to it! Which one is your favourite of the two? I think I prefer Say You'll Be There for now

It was such a idiotic decision to not release that live album and Never Give Up on The Good Times...... They would have been on a new high! Imagine having a brand new live album of the Spice World Stadium tour at Wembley for Christmas 1998! It would have sold so well...

Also, some of you suggested Love Thing as the final single from Spice but I never really saw it as a single because it sounds like the brainchild between Wannabe and Say You'll Be There... In a way, it was already threaded territory whereas the previous singles all sounded more different from each other. I know it was rumoured to be the prefered single from Virgin but by the time they had released 4 singles, it was a type of sound that was best to keep in the album, imo... I also think that Step To Me is another song that threads similar ground to Wannabe, Say You'll Be There and Love Thing, so in a way it made sense not to have it in the album. Even Say You'll Be There had initially a rap section which I am glad it was removed, as it would have made the whole Spice-sound very formulaic - pop anthems with r'n'b sounds about female empowerment, each girl gets a verse and the bridge is a rap led by Mel B. It would have been too much imo, so I am glad they changed things up a bit. (although I do think it could have been a single or at least an album track for Spiceworld). It is kind of like the Tomorrow of Free Me, for me. It sounds like Maybe and I'll Be There combined. A great album track but threading too similar territory to stand on its own. So it made sense for her to perform it on TV shows to further point towards the album, but as a single, it would have faltered and she needed to change it up...

still... it was controversial for sure lol but not sure it really helped her at the time. she was wise to corse-correct
