Oh for sure! They went on their solo adventures too soon. They should have stuck out for another two albums with the band at least, with another worldwide tour at least, do these other projects like the Disney's Herculies muses (like they were invited to be!!!), collaborate with other artists (like the Girlfriend/Boyfriend gig and other collabs) and THEN go solo. I will always mantain this! It was too soon for solo albums in 1999. Sure, do a solo song here and then, but to go all out with solo projects that soon was a killer for the group and themselves too.

Yeah she is probably misremembering things in terms of timming and maybe even as to when/how Julie might have been involved at all. She should have definitely accept the Phill Collins gig though and work around it??? What a missed opportinity....

well she says she was in rehearsals for it, and these things take a long time to make, so for all we know, it could have been in rehearsals early 1999 or something like that, or late 1998 and then it was cancelled before it went into production/filming... I think it would be too much to have two different TV Film projects with Emma and Julie Andrews being cancelled back to back... The Sleeping Beauty thing was the only project we know about... Plus when Emma says 'rehearsals', for all we know it could have just been early table readings - the very first thing you do when it comes to these projects, to get a bond going before proper rehearsals kick off... maybe Emma really thought this would take off...

Another one was this story about Prince. We knew Prince went to the Spiceworld Tour and was very friendly with the girls, inviting them to his birthday and even doing that special with Mel B. Here, Emma tells the story about how Prince and her hang out and he told her he was impressed by her voice specially, and that he loved the show and was happy that they were doing the full show live. Pretty nice, specially when Prince is known for being quite brutal with his opinions of others. I can only imagine Emma and Prince hanging out at Cafe de Paris lol... It's an odd pairing. Wild that Emma had so many opportunities in her solo career that went to waste. She could have easily gotten something with Prince, with Phil Collins, work with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis as well (they said they love her and would happily do solo work with her)... Did anyone still know that Emma is STILL sat on that Podcast sofa doing shows with her (sexy as hell, I f***ing would do him all day long) and her terribly unfunny friends? So I recently found out that it is not as simple as that (maybe unless you are a Taylor Swift or a Harry Styles, that is lol). The record label has to submit the songs for consideration at Spotify, and the team there decide which songs make it, and to what playlists. Seems like the streaming platforms just didn't take to the songs maybe?!....

It would also be safe to say that the reason it managed to be Top100 in the second week is because of the delay in shipping of so many of its pre-sales. Good game there eheh

Just saw that Dua Lipa released a professional (and dubbed lol) concert film of her final tour date of her Stadium tour in Mexico on Youtube, totally for f***ing free. Super high quality and professional. Why can't we have nice things from the Spice Girls either?... Would it really hurt them to throw out an edited recording of one of their tours on YouTube as a full show? This was the main issue. They completely left streaming... in her DJ era, why is she not doing remixes of the singles like any other pop girl has been doing and throwing out there? Accoustic versions did help last time.. but to be honest unless you are streamed by the dozens of millions, it might not really pay off anyway?...
