I like it and it's great to hear her voice again, but I can't help feeling a bit underwhelmed

This is the most obsessed I’ve been with an album in a long time, I can’t listen to anything else. I wasn’t really expecting anything less, but it’s exceeded my already high expectations. WHAT an album. One of those albums I can’t imagine ever didn’t exist, if that makes sense? I’d list my favourites but it’s basically the whole album at this point. Magnolias as a closer though! Whew, what a moment.

Didn’t expect to see Björk’s voice coming from a robin but I’m not complaining Wow, what an introduction to the new album, can’t wait for more. The strings! The vocals! The drama! A lot to take in but that’s what I love about Rosalía, you just have no idea where a song is going to take you.

Björk and Yves Tumor both featured on it… not to be dramatic but this has the potential to be my favourite song of all time based on the people involved

Obsessed with the Kylie, Bladee and Zara versions of Stateside. Just reaffirms that the original should’ve been a huge smash, I’m glad it looks like it’ll be getting a new peak this week. Really impressed with the whole remix package, love how much she puts into everything. The list of collaborators speaks for itself, what a star.

So glad the album of the year is getting a deluxe edition viscus is everything I hoped it would be and more

This isn’t album-related but I’m not really sure where to put it haha. Jade’s reading a picture book as a CBeebies bedtime story tonight and it’s a book I worked on 🤯 I’m a children’s book designer, and I’m this author’s designer – typically I started working on his books the book after this one haha, but I was still involved with this one. It’s mad to see her reading it, especially this week when she’s been here, there and everywhere 🤩 Can’t wait to see where the album lands, really hope the big last minute push will push her ahead of Twenty One Pilots. Still, a top 5 album is such an achievement wherever it ends up 🙌🏼

What a debut album! No skips, no notes. Love that she’s carved out such a style of her own with this. She’s really put everything into it and you can tell how passionate she is about it all. She was born to be a big pop girl. Agree it shouldn’t all be about chart positions but she really deserves the world so I hope it does well this week and after. Before You Break My Heart sounds absolutely huge, would love that to take off. Obsessed with Unconditional and Natural at Disaster too.

I meant to make a thread for this when it came out, I hadn’t seen this! Really liked GOOD LUCK but this is on another level for me. 1/17, Lipsync and Bet on Me are all incredible, 1/17 is one of my favourite songs of the year 💕

My Lisa stan card is fully laminated after seeing them last night. She is such a star, so good to see Rockstar and Lifestyle live Like Jennie was incredible too (although Jennie only seemed to put in effort for her solo slot, she was so low energy for the rest of the show 🥲). Jump popped off as expected, what a huge song. I’ve seen rumours there’s a mini album/EP coming later in the year, really hoping that’s true.

I can’t get enough of this. Waco, Texas killlls me, what a way to close an album. So devastatingly beautiful.

I'll need a bit more time to fully digest this all, but wowwww at Dust Bowl, Tempest and Waco, Texas. Absolutely stunning.

I’m loving this, it’s so fun. I really liked parts of Chromakopia but it felt really bloated and was a letdown after Igor (although anything would be, it’s one of the best albums of the decade for me) and CMIYGL. I can see myself listening to this a lot more, it helps that it’s a lot more concise. Sugar on My Tongue sounds so much like My Humps to me 😂 It’s great hearing Tyler over fun production like this.
