Wonderful new mixtape. Quite minimal production for the majority of it, which is the real beauty, while the delicate vocals compliment it all so perfectly.
'Neoprene' really is something else:

Nicki Minaj collaboration on the album!
I still have high hopes for the album despite not being too keen on 'L.A Love'
Oh snap! Fergie and Nicki Minaj are teaming up for one big collaboration.During an interview with “Ebro in the Morning” on Hot 97, the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman revealed that the “Anaconda” rapper will appear on her first solo album in eight years.
“This is the first time I’ve even announced anything,” said Fergie.
When asked if their collaboration will drop before her album in early 2015, she said, “Possibly.”
In addition to Nicki, Fergie has been in the studio with Mike WiLL Made-It, Rae Sremmurd, and will.i.am working on the follow-up to 2006′s The Dutchess. Just this week, she debuted the video for the YG-assisted single “L.A.LOVE (la la)” and will perform the DJ Mustard-produced song at the American Music Awards on November 23.
During her absence, female rappers like Nicki and Iggy Azalea have dominated the landscape, but Fergie doesn’t feel threatened. “Healthy competition, there’s nothing wrong with that,” she said. “That’s normal. That’s just like flirting. It’s a normal human thing.”

So many big names, props to Lorde for curating.
I've been loving 'This is Not a Game' and now it's all out there I'm giving it all a first listen.
'Meltdown' is incredible! It's Stromae's 'Merci' (which was already incredible) with vocals from all the featured artists. So good.
And Major Lazer/Ariana is predictably all kinds of amazing.

Can't believe it's been five years... wow.
Still by far her best album and one of my favourite albums ever. Love how everyone was expecting her to come back with an absolute #banger and instead she released 'Russian Roulette'. ICONIC. I think that's why Rihanna will always be my favourite of the 'main' popstars, you're never sure what kind of direction she'll go down.
(08 Mad House)
10 Wait Your Turn
11 Hard
06 Stupid In Love
06 Rockstar 101
10 Russian Roulette
09 Fire Bomb
10 Rude Boy
08 Photographs
09 G4L
08 Te Amo
10 Cold Case Love
09 The Last Song
Used to be absolutely obsessed with 'Hard', it would definitely be my most played song ever if I had any way of working that out amongst my many dabbles with last.fm haha. Still love it just as much today and certainly in my top 3 Rihanna songs if not my favourite.
The videos for this era were perfect too (well, the 'Te Amo' one could've been better but shh), really hope with R8 she pulls it out the bag and delivers the whole package again like she did with this!

nipple tassel.
Yeah I'm loving this album so much right now, glad I gave it time to grow.
'Ice Princess' is still my firm favourite, one of my favourites of the year. The only tracks I'm not too sure on still are the last two, which is odd because I remember her tweeting about them years ago and those were the ones I wanted to hear the most!
