Gloves Up is the just an inferior Power/Salute to me. Similar to past hits but nowhere near as strong. Happiness is the only one calling out to be a single now, but I have a feeling they’ll just move on 💔

Quite a few of my absolute favourites were from the 90s! These would nearly all be in my top 10 of all time: Janet Jackson 'The Velvet Rope' D'Angelo 'Brown Sugar' Lauryn Hill 'The Miseduction of Lauryn Hill' Björk 'Homogenic' Michael Jackson 'Dangerous' Madonna 'Ray of Light' Björk 'Post' The Velvet Rope is my favourite from the decade though. Such a classic album and one I'll never tire of :wub:

I always have this on my running playlist, good to see I’m not the only one :lol: It’s a perfect workout song.

I haven’t listened to much of Zayn’s solo stuff but had to listen to When Love’s Around because I love Syd so much. That voice :heart: Looove it on first listen, might have to give the rest of the album a listen.

Ha I’m the same, baffled by its success and don’t see the appeal at all :’) I can’t handle that cursive singing. Good for her though, amazing for a debut!

Am I the only one loving the single? I admit it’s not really anything new or different for her but it’s so gorgeous – that chorus :wub: Her voice is heavenly, so much stronger than LMLYLAW.

How can someone who is known to be such a great writer constantly get it so wrong when trying to put their point across? I don’t get what she was trying to achieve with the Instagram caption... it comes across as so ignorant and so defensive, and not in a good way. The ‘my boyfriends have been rappers’ line is literally ‘I’m not racist, I have black friends’ 🤡🤡🤡

So great to see her doing so well with this! It's quite unexpected too, this is quite like a lot of her older stuff which I didn't think would have that much commercial appeal. I'm glad she's going down this route though, her profile has been raised in the last couple of years and she easily could've gone much more commercial to make the most of it. One of favourite songs at the moment :wub:

It’s definitely overtaken Touch for me now. My favourite girl group song in absolute years and my favourite song of 2020. Undeniable :heart:

Can’t get enough of this, it’s exactly the kind of thing I love from SZA :heart: I liked Hit Different but it didn’t ever properly click with me like this has straight away. This is much more what I was hoping for, can’t wait to hear what else is to come from the album :wub:

Haha yeah I think we will. I think I’ll always like his more mellow ones though so that’s probably why I prefer the third act. Must admit I only actually know Trippie Redd from this :lol: and just find his parts off-putting for some reason haha. You never know though, he might grow on me :’) And thanks dandy, I’ve just found it online, think I might have to subscribe in March (maybe in Feb as the Strokes one looks gorgeous too...)

OMG I NEED THAT! Do you know if it’s limited edition just for your subscription? I need to get all three on vinyl. Ha Bré, act III is the best act! His mellow ones are always the ones that I come back to. Sept. 16 and Lovin’ Me are two of my absolute favourites, along with The Pale Moonlight and Mr Solo Dolo III. Rockstar Nights is the only one on the whole album I’m not too keen on, really don’t like that chorus or Trippie Redd in general 🙃

It’s my second favourite after Touch I think, but it’s close to overtaking. I think they’re quite similar in a lot of ways, it’s a sound that works so well for them.

Completely obsessed with this now, quickly working its way up to be one of my favourite albums of the year 😭 One of those albums I can listen to on repeat and have a different favourite each time. As you say Haus, so many honest and raw lyrics throughout. I love how much of an experience the whole Man on the Moon trilogy is. Still early day but I actually think it’ll end up being only slightly behind MOTM I in my affections 😱 And those hums 🥰🥰🥰

Definitely give I and II a listen too! They’re both great – I is more special to me but both are such good albums. I obsessed with them both when I first heard them :heart: Really liking this on first listen, definitely needs a few more listens for everything to go in but I’m just so glad we have the third part of the trilogy now after waiting a decade :snif: Mr. Solo Dolo III, Sept 16 and Loving Me are the early highlights. Love She Knows This too, it’s so Travis Scott but it works? It’s weird hearing a song like Show Off on a Cudi album ha, still not sure how I feel about that.

It’s up there for me too, top 3 with invisible string and august. They’re the holy trinity for me, adore them
