  1. Hahaha you're probably right. I love the whole photo where it shows them all dressing quite conservatively and then she has that thing on!

  3. It's finally happening, bitchess

In what's the closest he's come to a traditional release model, the Weeknd's Abel Tesfaye has planned the official release of his three free 2011 mixtapes (House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence) as a single trilogy. It'll be available for purchase on November 13 and will include new and previously unreleased material.

It's not being labeled an official record deal, but the trilogy will be released as part of a "strategic partnership" between Tesfaye, his XO crew and Republic, a division of Universal Music Group. From a statement:

"The joint venture between Republic Records and the Canada-based XO sees The Weeknd's vision preserved and magnified on a much larger scale. The XO initiative has grown from a small collective-- with roots based in the metropolitan streets of Toronto-- to a marquee business partner, and it will only evolve further within this structure."

This year has been shiiite for music. Maybe I just haven't listened to enough. Who knows.

Those five albums are the only ones off the top of my head that I can even remember liking/listening to enough this year to make the list. OH DEAR.

  6. Ten years. Two wonderful ('Push and Shove' borderline incredible) singles. And a Coldplay album.

    Perfect summation.

'Push and Shove' gave me SUCH high hopes for this.

Still hoping a listen to the full thing will change my mind completely!

  7. 01 'Unusual You' ('Circus')

    02 'Everytime' ('In The Zone')

    03 'Quicksand' ('Circus')

04 'He About to Lose Me' ('Femme Fatale')

05 'Lucky' ('Oops! I Did It Again')

06 'Born To Make You Happy' ('Baby One More Time')

    07 'And Then We Kiss'

    08 'Someday (I Will Understand)' (N/A)

The perfect order for me now would be that.

I'm not familiar with the bottom two though so can't really comment on them! 'Unusual You' is utterly beauuutiful.
