  1. And don’t even get me started on the ‘too sexual’ comments for Jimbo... I dread to think how Detox, Alaska and others would’ve done in a season like this if they think drag queens need to be family-friendly :’)
  2. Completely agree with everyone else. SUCH a wholesome and heartwarming episode just to be ruined by the awful judging once again. Jimbo was clearly the strongest this week. I adore Priyanka and she’s my favourite overall but she didn’t deserve that win over Jimbo. And Lemon going... 💔 I was so sure she’d be top 3 alongside Jimbo and Priyanka. If ever there was a time for a double shantay it should’ve been this week 😭 Gutted she’s gone, I was sure it would be no one other than Scarlett leaving this week.
  3. Exactly what I thought it'd sound like when I saw it was a Mabel collaboration haha. She's so nothingy. It's not bad but just sounds like everything else, I'm sure it'll do well though :')
  4. Glad You Need Me did well! Was worried people might not know it and not give it a chance. Managed to miss the voting again somehow though :') AWFCIY would be great for the finale, also think We Belong Together would be a good choice too though.

Really liking this. I would've preferred a proper collaboration rather just sampling, but those melodies at the end
  6. It's strange they've added the video but not the song itself!
  7. So pleased Never Get to Hold You is finally on streaming, it's in my Carly top 5  Have always loved Love Again too, they're both far to good to just be bonus tracks.

Lauryn Hill 😍 Really looking forward to hearing that
  9. I think it's just a one-off dedicated to the band and touring, isn't it? Actually think it's really cute. It's obviously not one of her best but for what it is, it's really sweet. So much better than Let's Be Friends for me (although even that I really liked live)
  10. Pure Shores by far
  11. Love Migrate! Think it would fit this perfectly. Determined to actually vote this round after missing all the others so far haha. I've been listening to her debut a lot recently and think You Need Me would've been a great single choice. It might be one that people aren't that familiar with though so could be a risky choice. Haha it’s the complete opposite for me. Love the production but her voice takes it to another level, she sounds incredible on this. I’m all here for those gravelly vocals 👌🏼
  13. Yeah I don’t understand people actively hating it! I think it’s a huge missed opportunity considering the names involved, and the new production takes a lot away from the original but it’s not terrible, it’s just not very exciting and had so much more potential. I think if it had been a standard remix released alongside the original Levitating it would be fine, but it’s not a strong enough remix to be a single, and having Madonna and Missy on a non-single would obviously be a waste. Just odd they thought it was strong enough to release as a single? I actually really like the Blessed Madonna’s work, but what she does best is long dj sets and extended remixes, not a 4 minute long single aimed at the charts. She’s not a wannabe/nobody producer whatsoever...
  14. Yeah I'm not sure if it's a lead single, might be a standalone release? Although the singles from Beauty Marks seemed to just be released at random and then all made the album so who knows haha. I really like this, it's good to hear something different from her. Love the video – the references to black lives matter, George Floyd and Breonna Taylor are really powerful. And so impressive she can still dance like that when so heavily pregnant at the time. She's incredible.

This is incredible. Sounds like an instant classic. So instant and her voice sounds better than ever. LOVE.
  16. Yeah this is such a letdown...it goes nowhere.
  17. sufJAM  Love this. And definitely more what I was expecting when he described it as his first pop album. America, My Rajneesh and this are all great, he never disappoints.
  18. Can’t wait to hear that, was hoping we’d get something soon. This is my most anticipated album for such a long time 😭
  19. I need a whole Cardi/Megan collaboration album.
  20. Agreed! Ciara and Jackie are both so good. I still listen back to her others a lot too, such a great discography
  21. I found Beauty Marks such a disappointment after how good her self titled album and Jackie were. A couple of great tracks but most of it was pretty forgettable! Always excited for new material from her though, so looking forward to this.
  22. Thanks for doing this all, UV (or UF now? 😂), great commentary throughout and so good to see other people’s first impressions. Amazing that the top 5 all had an average of over 9, really shows how strong the album is. More than happy to see exile coming out on top too, what a gorgeous song  Surprised I ended up getting 7 right in my prediction haha, was sure after I got the first couple right they’d all start falling out of place :’)

I was sure I saw a thread about this but can't find it anywhere now? Anyway, THIS ALBUM (/project?) Can't get enough of it, it feels so timeless while being so current at the same time. The vocals, production, everything about it is so smooth. 'Go There With You' is my immediate favourite. The production gives me such D'Angelo vibes, I adore it. JAGUAR 01 Moment 02 Big Boss (interlude) 03 Dive 04 We Might Even Be Falling in Love (interlude) 05 Jaguar 06 Experience (w/ Khalid & SG Lewis) 07 Ass Like That 08 Go There With You 09 Touch Me
  24. So glad august has made the top three  What a song. Second only to invisible string for me, and already one of my all time favourites of hers. Great top three overall.
  25. Hahaha that’s my favourite line too :’) Can’t get enough of this. I imagine it’ll get a lot of hate but I’m loving it.
