f5ve feat. Kesha - Sugar Free Venom
Obsessed with this. They've released their debut album this week and it's great. UFO was one of my favourite songs of last year so I had high hopes for it. With BloodPop as the executive producer and A. G. Cook and HudMo co-producing some songs it was always going to be a smash for me

Self Esteem - A Complicated Woman
I kind of hate all of this š„² Such a shame after loving the first two, but none of this is for me at all. Itāll be interesting to see how it does, her profile has been raised a lot since Prioritise Pleasure, but Iām not sure any of the new material is hitting the same.

PinkPantheress - Stateside
This is so good. Love Tonight too, but this is on a whole other level for me. Is that a Freak Like Me interpolation in the second verse? It has such a Sugababes feel to it in general, love it.

Addison Rae - Headphones On
Agreed, I think āObsessedā is where she sounds most like her! Itās the almost nonchalant delivery of the vocals haha. Cassieās always had such an effortlessly cool vibe to her and I think Addison has really tapped into that too. Love that this is already shaping up to be a hit, itās great to see quality winning sometimes š„²

Addison Rae - Headphones On
I think this might be my favourite of hers now, itās that good Canāt get enough of the airy vocals, the delivery actually reminds me of Cassie a bit, which is the highest compliment as Iāve always been obsessed with her

Addison Rae - Headphones On
It really is, itās like sheās put all my favourites references into one song So dreamy. Genuinely canāt remember a singles run this strong. All absolute 10/10s

Lana Del Rey - Henry, come on
She just never misses, this is stunning. The strings! ā¤ļø

Lana Del Rey - Henry, come on
Yeah, the photo is gorgeous (Neil Krug always does great photoshoots with her) but itās still uncropped and the type is literally a picsart font just lazily placed in the top left š„² Itās got nothing on the horror trilogy of Blue Banisters/Text Book/Wildflower Wildfire though, those ācoversā were the stuff of nightmares!

Lana Del Rey - Henry, come on
Iām so ready for this. Love that itās already such a typical Lana era ā picsart uncropped artwork, a release date randomly thrown out (which probably wonāt be met), multiple album titles. Please never change, Lana ā¤ļø

Weeds - 08.04.2025 - A09S02
This is gorgeous. Their vocals just glide over the production. Mutya is sounding more like Kelela than ever when the production wouldnāt sound too out of place on Raven. Love.

eternal sunshine ⢠7th album
I canāt stop listening to all the new tracks, theyāre all some of my favourites on the album now. past life is already shaping up to be one of my overall favourites of hers, canāt get enough of it.

eternal sunshine ⢠7th album
Love all the new tracks, theyāre all so strong and add to the ethereal, dreamy feel of the original album. warm and past life are immediately up there with my favourites from the whole thing ā¤ļø

Jungle - 13.03.25 - A09S01 - A new era begins
This is excellent. Totally agree it feels so fresh but also so them, itās exactly how they should be sounding in 2025. LOVE.

Mayhem ā 7th album
Iām loving this, my favourite album of hers in so long. I really like Disease and Abracadabra and wouldāve been very happy with an album in that vein but I love that the album we actually got was quite unexpected. Looove the Prince vibes of Killah, the rock drawl of Perfect Celebrity, and Garden of Eden is absolutely huge. Vanish Into You has been the one Iāve gone back to the most, the intro took me out a bit on first listen but I canāt stop listening to it now.
-
LISA - Alter Ego
Same, Iām loving this. I was worried it wouldnāt be up to the standard of Rockstar and New Woman but itās all really strong. I think hers was always going to be the album I was most excited for so Iām glad Iām loving it, ha. Obsessed with FXCK UP THE WORLD (and the video!! What a star), Lifestyle and Chill, sheās such an exciting artist.

Tate McRae - So Close To What
Purple lace bra! Emile Haynie in full Born to Die mode, love it. I know itās doing quite well, but I feel like Sports Car should be a worldwide smash at this point, itās so addictive.
-
Addison Rae - High Fashion
3/3! What a star. I hope an album announcement is imminent because I need more.
-
Self Esteem - A Complicated Woman
Lol I hate this. Not a fan of Focus is Power either, and canāt really see how theyāll work on an album togetherā¦
-
Perrie - Rollercoaster ⢠Promo Single
Ha this is actually my favourite so far! Itās so early Mariah. It sounds quite like a demo and the verses are a bit monotonous but thereās a good song in there, far prefer it to the other songs sheās released so far.
-
Addison Rae - High Fashion
Out this Friday! Canāt wait.
-
Oklou - choke enough
Iām loving this too. Love the y2k feel to it, canāt get enough of that spacey, dreamy soundscape. Early contender for AOTY already, I can tell Iāll be listening to it a lot.
-
LISA feat. Doja Cat & RAYE - Born Again
This is a bit of a miss for me. Love everything Lisa has done so far and was looking forward to this but I agree she gets a bit overshadowed, and her voice on the chorus is quite grating. Rockstar, New Woman >>>> Still looking forward to the album, sheās got so much potential as a solo star. I much prefer her rapping to her singing though, probably explains why Iām not so keen on this.

The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow
Agree with others saying this is too long and samey, but Iām still enjoying a lot of it. I think thereās enough variety to stop it merging too much, but it definitely couldāve been edited down. Drive is on repeat for me, obsessed with that. Havenāt seen enough love for it, but I guess thatās inevitable when itās such a long album. Itāll be interesting to see if he sticks to this being his last album as The Weeknd. What a ride itās been since House of Balloons š„¹
