I found Beauty Marks such a disappointment after how good her self titled album and Jackie were. A couple of great tracks but most of it was pretty forgettable! Always excited for new material from her though, so looking forward to this.

Thanks for doing this all, UV (or UF now? 😂), great commentary throughout and so good to see other people’s first impressions. Amazing that the top 5 all had an average of over 9, really shows how strong the album is. More than happy to see exile coming out on top too, what a gorgeous song :heart: Surprised I ended up getting 7 right in my prediction haha, was sure after I got the first couple right they’d all start falling out of place :’)

I was sure I saw a thread about this but can't find it anywhere now? Anyway, THIS ALBUM (/project?) Can't get enough of it, it feels so timeless while being so current at the same time. The vocals, production, everything about it is so smooth. 'Go There With You' is my immediate favourite. The production gives me such D'Angelo vibes, I adore it. So glad august has made the top three :heart: What a song. Second only to invisible string for me, and already one of my all time favourites of hers. Great top three overall.

Hahaha that’s my favourite line too :’) Can’t get enough of this. I imagine it’ll get a lot of hate but I’m loving it.

New Cardi is great 😂 Megan outshines her a bit in it though I think. No idea how it’ll do commercially, can see it going either way really! I’m sure it’ll have a strong start in the US though.

I love the last great american dynasty, I think it being sandwiched between cardigan and exile doesn’t help though as they’re both so strong. I almost forget it’s there but when it does come on I love it, if that makes sense? Haha. Looove the whole story behind it, definitely one of my favourites lyrically.

Yeah the remix is awful. It doesn’t work with the chorus at all and the verses just sound a bit off like they’re in the wrong key against the production? Weird to think he’s the genius behind Touch and this is the best he could do for this.

Figure 8 is her best song :’)

THAT VIDEO. As if it wasn’t enough, they get Normani, Kylie and ROSALIA (!) appearances. Dead. Cardi’s been consistently great for me, this is great. Megan’s been a bit hit and miss so far but love her in this too. Dread to think what radio edits will be like for this haha

Haha, true! I’ll take that 🤗 I have a feeling I slightly overestimated Epiphany too (mainly because I know how much you love it haha, not sure that necessarily means it’s one of other people’s favourites though!)

I think this is where my correct predictions will stop haha, feel like I underestimated the last great american dynasty, and can’t see that coming next now.

Not me getting numbers 9 and 10 right in my prediction *.* Fully expecting the rest to be completely different to my guesses now though haha I can appreciate Betty and can see why some people adore it, but it’s probably my least favourite on the album – mainly for the fact that it’s most like her early work which is probably also the reason those that love it do :’)

Harleys is so much better, it deserved much more than it got 😭 I do actually quite like this though!
