Haha, so this was completely forgotten about. (Flop mod :()
I'll have a go at making one this week and seeing as we seem to have quite a creative (well, with photoshop at least!) team, hopefully some of you could have a go too! The trouble I found when I was going to make one before was the lack of new photos...

So this album is out now. YAY.
Haven't listened to it yet apart from the singles (and the Chase & Status produced 'Spaceship', which is truly SUBLIME) but I'm pretty excited about it.
Gutted that 'Rock N Rolla' isn't on the album though.
Seriously though...Kano/Hot Chip/Boyz Noise/Vybz Kartel/Chase & Status all involved in one album? It must be perfcetion.
Off to listen now.

Lmao how pathetic!
Forgive me, I'm completely out of touch with new music atm. Excited about 'Body Talk Pt. 2' and DIOY,Y?'s latest! ;o
But oh Pavsterr why have you still not admitted to yourself that 'The Boxer' is utter $h!t? :(

She's taking more of a pop route, now. I guess that's a good thing, but here's to hoping that her album does not reflect this type of music. It's OK, but is it really a single? I thought the second single was "Right Through Me" which was set to premiere shortly...? "Massive Attack" is not included on the record, apparently, and it was only deemed a buzz single at the time anyway.
Definitely with you on that one!
I'm hoping for an album more along the lines of 'Massive Attack' but I'm thinking it'll probably be more like this, especially if 'Massive Attack' isn't even on the record...

Just listened to it and I'm majorly disappointed. It's exactly what I thought it would be when I saw it featured will.i.am. Another generic will.i.am production. Ugh, he's like the new timbaland! :(
The only redeeming quality is nicki's rap towards the end.
I can see it being pretty big in the US especially.

So excited for this.
I actually quite liked 'Rebirth' but 'Right Above It' is his best song in an aaage imo.

After having it for a couple of days and listening back to 'Fantasy Ride', I have to take my words back about it being better than anything on there.
'Work', 'Love Sex Magic' and 'Tell Me What Your Name Is' are better, although I still think 'Gimme That' is pretty good, especially considering how poor the rest of the leaks from the album have been so far.
Oh and official artwork:

A bit bland, but better than the awful cover for 'Ride'!
And MILES better than the UK 'Fantasy Ride' cover.

Hype Williams may be accustomed to large budgets and state-of-the-art equipment, but when you’re working with M.I.A., expect the unexpected. The Sri Lankan artist is mixing in the director’s scenes for her music video with footage she shot on her personal Flip cam.
M.I.A. explained why the video for her single “XXXO” has yet to debut. “When I leave here, I’m gonna work on the ‘XXXO’ video,” she told fans during a chat organized by 102.7 KIIS FM on Tuesday. “I had to go and shoot it last night to get some extra footage.”
But instead of calling on Hype to direct the additional visuals, she took matters into her own hands. “I had to reshoot the video on a Flip, so I’m gonna edit in some Hype Williams footage and some Flip footage, and you guys can check out the video really soon,” she said. “I’ve been sort of animating and $h!t and stuff.”
In addition to finishing her video, M.I.A. will headline HARD with supporting acts Rye Rye, N.E.R.D., Major Lazer, and more in Los Angeles on July 17 and New York on July 24.

Holy $h!t...'Gimme That' is SO good.
Didn't have that high hopes for 'Basic Instinct' but I definitely do now. This is her best song in absolutely ages...think I might prefer it to everything on 'Fantasy Ride' (although I guess it's hard to tell from a couple of listens). Why the hell she chose to release the utterly dull 'Ride' over this I'll never know!

I think I might make a Kanye or Kano this week.
