I thought it was a little unfair votes counted for less if you submitted fewer votes too – doesn't look like it would've made much difference to mine anyway though! Was wondering if D'Angelo would get any other votes... :cry: I originally had quite a few more but they weren't eligible (Sufjan Stevens, Elliott Smith, Blood Orange, Perfume Genius, Arthur Russell...) and I was scraping the barrel a bit when I tried to think of more, so I thought I'd just go with 17 and suffer the consequences :lol:

Ah I should've voted for Aphex Twin! Good to see he made the top 200 anyway. Couldn't believe Sufjan Stevens hasn't had any top 40 singles and so wasn't eligible, I was sure some of his earlier ones would've charted for some reason :') He would've been top 3 for me. Elliott Smith would've been in my top 10 too, a shame he didn't make the top 40 either.

Pose for me too. I really like it but it doesn't really fit with the rest of the album and it's pretty basic and throwaway compared to the rest, no matter how much I love a trashy bop :teresa:

S Club 7 overall and for every song 😂 They were always my favourite band growing up, even then Steps seemed a bit cheesy haha. I did still like them a lot but S Club will always be on top. Stomp was the only one that could’ve beaten an S Club song, but no chance against Don’t Stop Movin :heart:

Rated R by far, it was my favourite until Anti came along. Loud is good but has always been an overrated one from her discography for me. That red hair tho :heart:

Yeah I'd say after Yeezus too, that's one of his absolute best. 2010-2013 was when he was at his peak for me. The Life of Pablo still had some great moments and looking back on it now I love the messiness of it lol, but it's so much less perfected than what came before it. Completely agree about her albums being such complete packages! She's definitely an album artist in that sense. In terms of favourite songs, these would be high on my list: Love Will Never Do (Without You) Velvet Rope If Every Time You Rhythm Nation No Sleeep is probably up there too now, so smooth. :heart:

You’re in for a treat with The Velvet Rope :heart: One of my all time favourite albums. Janet, Rhythm Nation and The Velvet Rope are my top three too, have always had a soft spot for Damita Jo too though. All For You’s definitely my least favourite, but it’s not bad by any means.

Definitely one of the albums of the year. WHAT a debut. Dynasty is such an incredible opener and the quality just stays at that level throughout. Everything about it is so spot on.

My favourite too :heart: I'd say it's an album full of the highest of highs :o 'Goodnight Gotham' first for me. It's nice as an interlude but I don't really consider it a Rihanna song as such.

I got the Fleetwood Mac one after I’d sent my answers. Knew it wasn’t the latest Nick Drake one but out that because I thought it looked a bit like it :’)
