  1. So shocked and sad to read about this, absolutely devastated. One of the most vibrant, friendly and kind people on here, he was really one of a kind. I’ll miss him so much.
  2. Loving this despite not being completely sure on some of the singles at first. The last three tracks make it for me, what a closer IDORU is 😭 4ÆM is definitely the weak link for me

I came here to say the same thing. It’s like he’s finally found the balance between his earlier music and the last couple of albums. That build up 👌🏼

Best: Lil Wayne by far Worst: Lil Pump
  5. Thanks for this, Gezza. Really interesting to see the results. Pleasantly surprised to see Madonna ahead of Kylie, the latter always seems to have such a huge fan base on here but Madonna has always been miles ahead for me. Annoyed I didn’t vote in this. Björk would’ve been higher along with Lykke Li, Lauryn Hill and M.I.A. It wasn’t as obvious as I thought it’d be at all though.
  6. Born to Die has always been my favourite of the two  Both incredible though

Loving this, hope it can at least be a small hit. Obsessed with the way Nicole sings ‘party’ in the first line
  8. Really wasn’t expecting to like the new PCD song more than new Carly... Not feeling this at all. It’s not awful by any means but it stands out so much because she’s been so consistently great for a while now. Plus the mixing is terrible!
  9. adore this The opening seconds sound so much like something from Pang! I loved the idea of having French and English versions of the whole album for Chris, I love her singing in either though so I don’t really mind where she takes it. Really like her using both languages in this, it flows so well.
  10. IWNLYD I like Call My Name a lot, but that feels a lot more like Calvin on autopilot. IWNLYD is undeniable

Such a deserved win, should’ve been up for album of the year too. One of my favourites of the last five years, I feel like it’s the true successor to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy in terms of scale, production, impeccable guest features. His performance last night was incredible too, he’s at the top of his game right now.
  12. NFR by far! What an album 😭 I can see her returning to the top 40 singles at some point but I’m not sure if she’ll have another hit like she did in the BTD era. I don’t think that matters though, she’s been more of an album artist for a while now.
  13. Missed the voting but I’m hoping Björk finishes high 🙌🏼
  14. Yeah I don’t understand how anyone can be excited about a new Eminem album in 2020. I’m sure it’ll have a big first week but hopefully it’ll sink without a trace after that.
  15. This is a great choice, I think her style will fit the mood perfectly. Would also love a Lana or Lykke Li Bond theme at some point. Can’t see Lykke happening at all sadly but Lana could still do one in years to come.

Cynthia Erivo though! 😍 So pleased about that

Echoing the love for You Should Be Sad. What a song. Probably already my favourite of hers. That production!

YES FLORENCE. Absolutely gutted at no J Lo though :(

 They all sound like great predictions, I’m awful at predicting things like this though so I won’t do my own :’) Think it’s pretty certain anyway but praying Florence gets her supporting actress nomination 🙌🏼 That category is probably the strongest for me, I’d be happy with any of those you’ve listed winning the award, all incredible performances. I’d love to see Greta nominated too but like you say, that’s an absolute bloodbath.

Obsessed with this, glad it seems to be doing well so far. Vulnerable for single 3 pls

Surprised how quiet this thread has been! So refreshing for an act like Selena to just release two songs/singles from the album in the build-up, makes it so much more special listening to the album in full for the first time. Camila, take note 🙃 Love what I’m hearing so far, she’s really found a sound that works so well for her. Really distinctive and very ‘her’. ‘Vulnerable’ is my favourite so far, but loving everything so far. Those verses 😍

Still loving this. She’s featured on the new Kaytranada album too, she suits his production so well, love it.

He’s finally released the follow up to 2016’s 99.9%, one of my favourite albums from that year. This is just as smooth and infectious, very similar in sound to his debut but that’s no bad thing.
