Cremey

I feel like it existed first in some guise, but the Lizzo feature and updated production came after Track 10? It seems like one of those songs she wasn’t really happy with, so released Track 10 until she knew what she wanted (even though Track 10 ended up being far superior 🙃) Probably completely wrong but that’s my take on it

Take away Blame It On Your Love and 1999 and this is exactly the album I wanted from her. They don’t fit in with the rest (especially BIOYL coming after Thoughts...) Glad it ended up being so much better than the singles suggested. I can see why she released those though. From the first two singles I thought it’d seem watered down compared to the mixtapes but it doesn’t at all, great she could experiment on this as well. Can’t wait to see her do lots of these at Brixton, really interested to see who she brings out.

omg SHAKE IT

The Night Is Still Young and Fly for me

@1172185665917923329 That second one should’ve been the album cover

Had an email to say my vinyl has been dispatched. Can’t wait. I feel like I’ll love it after reading what Joe’s said about it. I was hoping it’d be more 2099 than 1999 or Blame It On Your Love, so that’s great. That’s the Charli I’m here for.

Gutted at Bat For Lashes not making the top 10 with Lost Girls. I thought it’d be #8/9 at the lowest.

Charli/Christine and the Queens – Gone Carly Rae Jepsen – Too Much Miles Cyrus – Slide Away

I love it. So much more interesting than everything else from the album so far, will work so well as a closer. Those music box (?) flourishes in the production remind me of Björk’s Vespertine in places. Futuristic bop 🥳

Gone Cross You Out Warm February 2017 1999 Blame It On Your Love Have really liked everything but it’s not a patch on Pop 2 for me so far. Gone is the definite standout

holy terrain is everything the video too, she always gets it so right

Incredible. Sits alongside LP1 so well. Can’t wait for this, must be my most anticipated release of the year

Check It Out The Night is Still Young Megaton Stupid Hoe, Did It On Em and Massive Attack having so many votes already makes me sad, especially Massive Attack

Adore this, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Think it might be my favourite of hers already :o Looove the whole 80s feel to it. Mountains is such a gorgeous closer, and Vampires gives me almost The Cure vibes

Shameless is quite BANKS-esque in places. In love.

LIAR is irresistible. Shameless is great too, that production 👌🏼

Amazing winner and amazing top 2. I prefer BTD so I’m glad it won over Ride, as much as I like that too,

I’d go: Venice Bitch Love Song The greatest hope

Honeymoon was her best album until NFR came along. I don’t know if that’s an unpopular or not – going by this thread it is though 😅

Side C for me too. Those three are perfect. There’s. it much in it though, they’re all incredible.

Incredible. So well deserved, they get things right sometimes :’) Highest rated album since D’Angelo’s Black Messiah in 2014 :o
