Got the blue vinyl version yesterday, which is gorgeous. Just wish there was a photo as the inside artwork as well. Glad it’s looking safe for a number 1 debut, so well deserved. Already feels like a modern classic. I bought the Honeymoon vinyl today too which was long overdue. Gorgeous packaging.

I’m inclined to say the same, this album feels like such a moment. She just gets better and better.

Album now titled Jesus is King, out September 27th. I’m worried.

Also going for ‘Love’, really glad it’s got this far though, I didn’t think it would. Pleased to see how well YAB did, I’ve never thought of it as being a big favourite but it’s one of mine.

Can’t wait to hear the rest of this on Friday. I’ve loved everything so far, it’s shaping up to be one of my favourites of hers and a perfect late summer album :heart:

I Think He Knows on REPEAT. So good. Echoing everyone who’s already said that this feels like a true follow-up to 1989. The Archer is the only one I liked from the pre-album songs so I wasn’t expecting to like this much but I’m really pleasantly surprised.

Love both but Havana is just unbeatable. One of those songs I loved from the first listen and will never tire of.

I saw her at Glastonbury 2014 but can’t really remember it that well ... seeing her again at the o2 next year and can’t wait 😭

Really liking this! Definitely doesn’t sound as big as NRO but she’s in a much better position now than she was when that was released. Completely agree with Jay, the pre-chorus is gorgeous. And another song without an unnecessary drop 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Couldn’t disagree more with this. I can’t understand how anybody could find this bland? I like Blame It On Your Love a lot (although it really pales in comparison to Track 10) but it’s far less interesting than Gone. The lyrics, structure and production in Gone are all so much more refreshing and original. Christine looks incredible as always.
