I’m already stressing at the thought of getting tickets and the UK dates haven’t even been announced yet 🥲 I saw somewhere she’d confirmed Delicate will be on the setlist? Hoping that’s true, one of my absolute favourites :heart: Must be impossible planning the setlist with so many albums to cover, and four albums and two re-releases since the last tour… insane. I’m hoping for Cruel Summer, August and Willow at least. Would LOVE Invisible String but I think that’s probably unlikely when there are so many to choose from.

There’s a deluxe version of Prioritise Pleasure coming out 18th November with five new versions of songs from the album, I’m guessing it’s the lead single from that? So glad this whole album campaign has been such a success for her!

I saw them at their London show last night and they were incredible. You can tell how much they’re enjoying being back on stage, and their voices and harmonies were as strong as ever – Keisha was just on another level though, she’s such a star. Incredible atmosphere, there’s so much love for them! It was the busiest I’ve ever seen the Apollo – I’m glad I wasn’t standing, I saw a few tweets from people who’d left because they didn’t feel safe due to overcrowding.

Labyrinth ❤️ The Great War ❤️ High Infidelity ❤️ Really glad we got some Dessner tracks on the 3am version, always love his production work and as much as I really liked the standard album on first listen, I missed his touch a bit. I wasn’t really sure what to expect on first listen and I was ready to be disappointed, but I was pleasantly surprised. Always love her subdued, synthy songs so I think I’ll be going back to this a lot. I don’t think anything will touch folklore and evermore for me, but it’s great to hear her back with bigger production.

I don’t think this will end up being one of my absolute favourite albums of hers, but it’s a definite step up from Utopia and I’m really liking it. She’s got such a strong discography but I think it’ll end up about mid-table, which to be honest is the highest I could expect at this point – I can’t see anything competing with the holy trinity of Vespertine/Homogenic/Vulnicura for me. I was expecting more songs in the vein of Atopos and the title track, and I think it’d be a stronger album if there was more of that (which I’m assuming is the GMO involvement?). Whereas the rest of her albums have a definite feel to them, this feels more like an amalgamation of all her albums, which is to its strength as well as its detriment. It feels a lot like a Medulla/Volta hybrid in places, with a bit of the other albums thrown in. My favourites at the moment are Atopos, Sorrowful Soil, Freefall (those last two minutes :heart:), Fossora and Her Mother’s House. The last of which is one of her most beautiful songs ever I think

Can't remember the last time I was this excited for an album, can't wait for next Friday. So obsessed with Atopos, such a great intro to the album. I could listen to that last minute on repeat for ever. Ovule very much feels like an album track, but I really like the production and I think it'll grow when listening to the album as a whole. She's just released Ancestress and the video is coming today too – I saw people comparing it to Unison (aka the best song ever) so my expectations were sky high. On first listen I'm not sure I'm really getting that comparison haha, love the way it builds though and actually really like Sindri's backing vocals after not really being sure what to expect from them.

I didn’t manage to get the turquoise either 😢 I can never access her store, and the OLI website kept crashing. I went for the burgundy rough trade one in the end, which was a close second for me. I was expecting Atopos to be out by now…hopefully it’ll be out next Friday. If not, maybe they won’t release anything until the album release, seems odd to have made the announcement for the single if that’s the case though.

Stunning cover, I was worried I’d like the Atopos one more but this is even better. Love that it’s out so soon, can’t wait. I’m trying to get the turquoise one from One Little Independent but it keeps crashing 💔

So, so excited for this. Love that that’s just the single artwork, it’s stunning. Can’t wait to see the album artwork if we get something that great for the single. The colour palette :heart: It’s like Biophilia’s twisted sister. Let’s just hope Fossora’s better than that album, as it’s probably my least favourite of hers.

Ha I actually really like this. It’s not what I was expecting at all, but I love how fun, carefree and tongue-in-cheek it is. High camp!

I saw her tonight for the first time ever and loved every second 😭 What a show. Glad you had a great time too, Bal! The atmosphere was amazing and she was even more incredible than I thought she’d be. I was standing, and was originally quite near the back so I could make a swift exit for the train, but managed to get so close to the stage when she was at the piano. Crazy being able to get that close to her without actually putting the effort in to be at the front, ha. Must admit I wasn’t crazy about the setlist when I first saw it, but I think it was actually pretty perfect (the only ones I really missed were )

I love that it’s always such an event when she releases a new album. Having no idea what to expect definitely adds to that, but she’s exceeded all my expectations even from the first couple of listens. It’s a lot more varied than I thought it would be from Break My Soul, but it manages to be that while also being a really cohesive listen. Those transitions between songs :heart: I love that it’s an ode to ball culture while also looking to the future of dance, like blacksquare says. The production throughout is impeccable… so much to unpack. Alien Superstar, Virgo’s Groove, All Up in Your Mind, Pure/Honey :heart:

Somehow even worse than Potion 🙃 I don’t know why he always feels the need to shoehorn everyone into one song, it never works. This is the worst one yet though, it all sounds so disjointed and doesn’t go anywhere, Halsey’s part especially

Loved his debut solo album, really looking forward to this on Friday. All three tracks released so far have been great, but Bad Habit is my favourite, glad to see it taking off!

Agreed about both of those, two of my favourites too. Great to have a couple from each album, it does mean quite a few of my favourites aren’t included but I guess it’s always going to be impossible to include all the highlights with such a strong discography. Also agree about the artwork – usually really like his artwork but this seems so cheap in comparison. Especially the David Guetta ‘VOL 1’ font ha :’) Looking forward to having A Kid Named Cudi on steaming soon, that’s where the obsession began so it’ll be great listening to that for the first time in a while. The Prayer :heart:

This is trash. Waiting for so long and then releasing this… what a way to lose the momentum from WAP and Up. Sad that I kind of knew it would be bad when I saw Kanye’s name mentioned – that used to signify something good was coming, but it’s the complete opposite now 💔

October 28th is just the vinyl release date, it looks like the digital and CD release date is August 5th. I’m just here for the Tinashe track x
