This is the first of the four I've heard that I love straight away. It gives me Madonna 'American Life' era vibes (the softer side of it, obviously not the title track haha). I couldn't get into the two singles at all, I'm hoping they'll grow within the context of the album...and I've only heard California once but wasn't in a rush to listen to it again.

Surely this'll be massive? Sounds exactly like the kind of thing that hangs around the top 10 for months. Hopefully it can make up for Alors on Danse not doing much here originally </3 I'll stick to Girls Night Out though I think :')

In typical Charli fashion, this has already leaked... It did seem a bit dangerous announcing it a month in advance :') Love it on first listen, unsurprisingly haha. The intro is very Eurythmics Sweet Dreams, and it's much more straightforward pop than most of her recent releases. The chorus is such an earworm, just wish it was a bit longer overall. She's mentioned about leaving hyperpop behind, but I hope that's not forever because it's the perfect style for her. She really hit her stride with the last couple of albums and mixtapes.

Loving this more and more with every listen, she never puts a foot wrong :heart: Love how much she's experimented with her sound on this. I feel like because of that, it shouldn't be that cohesive as an album but it somehow still is? That run of Undo (Back to my Heart) through to 'The Chase' is incredible. 'Let Me Down Slowly' is my absolute favourite at the moment, I think it'll be up with one of her best for me before too long. 'Bouncin' is quickly becoming one of her best for me too. I liked it at first but didn't think it was anything special...just keeps growing though, it's infectious.

Can’t wait for the Arca Rain on Me remix. The fact it samples Time and Mequetrefe… :cheeseblock:

I’ve been listening to her so much recently, crazy it’s been 20 years 😰 One of my all time favourite artists, and can’t even imagine the great things she could’ve gone on to do. Aaliyah is in my top 10 albums and I’ve been determined to find it on vinyl, so pleased it’s being reissued finally! The ruby with gold splatter variant looks heavenly. I’ll definitely be getting that along with One in a Million. I’ve luckily been able to listen to most of her music through Apple Music as I bought her albums on cd from eBay and managed to add them to my library the old school way haha, but I’m so pleased the music is going to be on streaming for the first time. I really hope it brings a new generation of fans, her music is so timeless :heart:

I can’t believe it’s actually happening. I have such high hopes for this but I’m going to go in with an open mind because I don’t want to be disappointed again :’) Haven’t listened back to Jesus is King or ye at all really, they were both such a step down in quality from all his other albums. But then 808s / MBDTF / Yeezus is the strongest run of albums from any artist ever for me, so it was always going to be hard to follow those up. I liked Pablo a lot but that didn’t come close to the holy trinity either. I’m hoping that because he’s taken a while with this one (and there’s obviously been a lot going on in his personal life…), this one will be back to his old standard, because he really is incredible when he’s at his best. Still so weird to read that about Kanye. You’re completely right, but it’s just odd because he was such a perfectionist before.

Ru telling Scarlet she made her feel uncomfortable was so uncalled for. I didn’t get that at all, and it just made for really awkward viewing. Mess of an episode in general really, it wasn’t that clear what you had to do to do well? Definitely didn’t see Ginger winning it. I hope this isn’t the start of her dominating, I don’t mind her but she’s been average at best this season so far. Trinity is the star of the season for me atm.

The video! Amazing, what a star. Adore the song, but it’s exactly the sort of thing I always lap up so I’m not surprised ha. Love the Aaliyah sample and I’m getting Ciara ‘Ride’ vibes which is one my all-time favourite songs so I never wasn’t going to love it. Actually think I’d prefer it with Cardi, I don’t really think she’s needed here and she ruins the flow a bit for me.
