Unholy is on ACR, and Taylor and Meghan could very well be as well (until next week at least)

I feel like I think the same thing every year but I’m always pretty shocked at just how fast Christmas music falls. Especially on Boxing Day when most people are still off and some still doing Christmassy thing. Xmas music was quite significantly bigger on 1st December than 26th

Early Spotify update today. Raye back as high as #6 and SZA at #8

27 songs over 1m is a new record I’m sure, last 2 Christmas it’s been 23. Also the whole top 50 over 500k must also be a first

2.669 for Wham! Not quite as big as Adele but a new best for 2nd biggest day ever

Interested to see if Wham will be able to break Adele’s single day record for the UK Spotify streams today

27k seems rather low, I'd imagine they're very front heavy. No doubt they'll be a massive push if things get to close though to make sure they get #1, but it definitely leaves the door open for some kind of counter campaign

Overall Xmas songs are pretty significant up on last year, Wham and Mariah by about 350k each for the week. Still way down on 2020 though, I'd forgotten just how massive Christmas songs were in 2020 (Mariah was already top 5 on the weekly charts with almost 2 million streams).

I’m honestly team Jonbers just for the absolute gag it would be if she won and I love an underdog storyline. and really she’s also probably become my favourite of this top 4 even if it’s clear she’s not deserving of the win she’s just so likeable

Christmas music way up on the equivalent Saturday last year. Mariah and Wham up about 70k each, Ariana up over 50k, Kelly up 40k - strap in folks seems like Christmas is gonna somehow take over the charts even more this year
