  1. I know it's called Doctor Who, but having virtual unknowns for both the Doctor and his companion is taking it just a bit too far.
  2. No - stereotyping.
  3. What the BNP don't tell you is that they don't like black people - regardless of nationality. Why else would have backed Denmark in the 2002 World Cup game between England and the bacon makers?
  4. Also affected by the "not-for-profit" PRS: http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsU...1568133,00.html Long story short - the PRS increased the prices for run-out and goal celebration music. By a whopping SIX HUNDRED PERCENT. Which might explain why there have been plenty of teams that now don't have either of those. (However, the music before the game and during half-time are unaffected.)
  5. Well, they obviously don't know what they're talking about. The Official Top 40 goes Sunday -> Saturday.
  6. Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but hasn't that been happening since 1952?
  7. I take it you mean the winning song - Gina G made No1 with our entry in 1996.
  8. And if you look at the picture of the sleeve, you can see that it says "3 DVD". Looks like someone at HMV f***ed up.
  9. And to think that the juries chose this one.
  10. Who knows - it might have the compilation stats as well (they were missing from the GWRBHS&A books).
  11. The worst? Hard to tell between these three: -> Flo-Rida -> Tinchy Stryder -> Black Eyed Peas
  12. It's not the first time he did something like that. In 2003, he said that the piece of paper with the votes would decide who won it that year. And then he said, "And here I go. Bye" and walked off screen. And in 2007, he took the p!ss out of his own country's performance by waving a torch around.
  13. Yes, there was. But Alexander wiped the floor with all of them. Also - If the countries that didn't award him either 10 or 12 gave him nothing, his winning margin would have been 68 (rather than something ridiculous like 168).
  14. I've got to say that I liked the Albanian act. Simply 'cos I've always wondered what would happened if Peter Parker brought his outfit from an S&M shop.
  15. The definition of "ironic", from the OED: 1 - using or characterized by irony* 2 - happening in the opposite way to what is expected * - By the way, this is how it defines "irony": 1 - the expression of meaning through the use of language which normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous effect 2 - a state of affairs that appears perversely contrary to what one expects Bearing all that in mind, how would it have been ironic?
