Awful show tonight tbh 01 Janet Devlin 1-1 02 The Risk 4-2 03 Kitty Brucknell 14-3 (I actually really enjoyed her tonight!) 04 Craig Colton 3-4 05 Sophie Habibis 2-5 (really can do a lot better) 06 Rhythmix 12-6 07 Sami Brookes 7-7 08 Johnny Robinson 9-8 09 Misha Bryan 5-9 (can't stand her) 10 NuVibe 11-10 11 Marcus Collins 6-11 (no emotion at all) 12 Frankie Cocozza 10-12 (ruined a good song, messed up the words and he's a twat) OUT Amelia Lily 8 James Michael 13 2Shoes 15 Jonjo Kerr 16
  3. And the anti-English twats do it again  We invented football yet we don't have power and get stupid overpunishment like this. Arshavin only got two in the last one.

  5. And Tevez apparently refused to come on as a sub and Mancini now says he's 'finished' at City. Great day for them eh?
  6. It was really strange because in the first half I agree we were TERRIBLE at defending so of course I expected Fergie to address that at half time but of course we didn't and it bit us on the arse in the end, felt sorry for De Gea as once again he had a great game. Despite that I really enjoyed the game and as much as it pains me to say it in the end I'm happy with a point :| Just have to look at City for comfort  and loads of City fans moaning that despite the fact they were playing Bayern Munich there was STILL nowhere in the City centre showing City over United. #manchesterisred
  7. Actually I thought Accelerate (released 2008) was one of their best albums ever and well if you're talking popularity then they could just put out an album and it'll be #1 here and they could play where they like basically! They're the kind of old band who you'd never look at as being 'old' because they still had it (imo anyway but Collapse Into Now wasn't THAT great though) if you know what I mean.
  8. One of my favourite songs of the year so far. It seems the fanbase is doing its usual with the people get it legally getting it in droves at first and it climbs iTunes are fast and plummets within a few hours. Just bought it anyway

Wow! The Gears of War 3 advert has done wonders for Mazzy Star!
  10. And who would make us any better? Speaking of Capello stepping down though I really can't wait for us to do a lot worse when the idiots gets their way and we get another INGLISHHHHH manager, not even Redknapp is good enough imo (he's got out the excuses out already this season) Hiddink would be my choice anyway just in case anyone is wondering. Anyway I don't see how anyone would do anything different to what Capello is doing right now let alone anything better. Obviously the selection would be much different if certain people were available. Anyway we were poor but we still won (somehow) We're not the forth best team in the world and no matter who we pick and how 'bothered' the players are we'll STILL not be good enough to beat the likes of Spain and Brazil (unless we get a little luck which we never do) so I really don't see the point in moaning when we don't even need to do much just to get there now anyway! Its still so lol that people forget who Fabio Capello is and what he's done anyway, considering Trapotonni looks like he may not be able to make much difference with Ireland it shows the reality of international football.
  11. It really is about time Walcott was played in the centre for Arsenal and England. Smalling is not a right back and Walcott is not a winger either. They talk about Walcott's goal drought for England? Well they know what to do. Problem is Rooney, Bent and Carroll are ahead of him. The Bulgaria wasn't the best example but Walcott is actually quite a good finisher. Anyway I'd probably pick the same team myself but when Bent is fit I would consider putting Young on the right and then put Rooney where Young is right now. Its a shame Aaron Lennon isn't on good form very often, he just needs to learn to cross better and he'd be the 'proper' pacy right winger we'd need.
  12. One thing I'd like to point out, someone got 5 months for stealing a pair of shorts yet you have MPs who stole thousands of pounds in 'expenses' that got off with nothing. Basically these are excessive sentences from an out of touch government who don't have the slightest idea what the REAL problem is that started all of this. All these 'tough sentences' won't do anything but make everything a whole lot worse. Things like the people who did all the facebook stuff should have got community service AT THE MOST but I would have just given them a warning. The mum who was in possession of stolen goods should have got community service at the most, considering this government's obsession with 'the deficit!11!1!!!1' things like the social costs for her children are example of how tthey're doing their very best to increase it it seems. :s
  13. Warren Buffett calls for higher taxes for US super rich http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2011/au...axes-super-rich A quote from the NY times article as well: "I have worked with investors for 60 years and I have yet to see anyone not even when capital gains rates were 39.9 percent in 1976-77 shy away from a sensible investment because of the tax rate on the potential gain. People invest to make money, and potential taxes have never scared them off. And to those who argue that higher rates hurt job creation, I would note that a net of nearly 40 million jobs were added between 1980 and 2000. You know whats happened since then: lower tax rates and far lower job creation. " Problem is some Americans are so republican they think paying tax is against their human rights! Of course no one would do this including Obama because they wouldn't have the balls but THIS is the problem that Bush created for America that would help to get America back on its feet.

Won £18 after away wins from Wolves and Bolton and a draw from Liverpool :cheer:
  15. Might as well do this while I'm here. 1. Manchester United 2. Manchester City 3. Chelsea 4. Arsenal 5. Liverpool 6. Tottenham 7. Bolton 8. Everton 9. West Brom 10. Sunderland 11. Fulham 12. Stoke 13. Wolves 14. Aston Villa 15. Wigan 16. QPR 17. Newcastle 18. Norwich 19. Blackburn 20. Swansea I know I could easily be wrong but I just don't see City winning the title while Mancini is still in charge. Liverpool have made good signings, yes but I think Arsenal will get off to a decent start and fall away but they'll still get a champions league place. Bolton and West Brom are teams who did well last season and made some wise moves over the summer and I expect them to find more consistentsy and compete to be the 'best of the rest'. Roger Johnson is a great signing for Wolves and I think they'll progress this season but not quite as much as Mark's prediction. Wigan are an absolute fail but I expect them to do a little better due to the fact that there are a few teams worse than them especially as Mike Ashley is showing himself up to be a very talented man indeed! How can anyone make people feel vaguely sorry for Joey Barton? Such a badly run club and they'll struggle to survive. QPR haven't done the signings I expected them to and Neil Warnock doesn't get the say he should but they'll stay up by the skin of their teeth. Blackburn's owners are clueless and it should take its toll this season and unforunately the other two promoted clubs just aren't good enough unless Brendan Rodgers can do a Wigan, Hull or Reading.
  16. Official team of Fifa 2012? Surely City are paying for that considering that EA would get more from it if they used a team that is actually popular..
  17. Exactly, record companies deliberately leak songs a lot to generrate hype or to test the water. I thought maybe she'd be alright but this song is so bad it makes me laugh
  18. She blows out everything from Cheryl and Nadine out the water so much its not even funny. Lovin' this!
  19. The lowest figure I've seen is 100,000 from The Guardian  Every other place said around 150,000. I don't see exactly where people are gonna stand in your United picture anyway.
  20. Erm.. http://therepublikofmancunia.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Spot-the-difference1.jpg Get your facts straight please :)
  21. Yeah so tactically inept he won the title by 9 points with "the worst United side in years" Fletcher would of course played if he had more game time in recent weeks but well he had to take his chance on Carrick who was just rather rubbish. The thing I was unsure of and was correct on in the end was Chica starting, he just seemed completely absent! As we didn't have Berba I was thinking of maybe even Nani behind Rooney if we weren't gonna use Owen! But no matter what anyone says the way they played no one can beat, not us, not Mourinho or anyone, Barca deserved it. I was livid after 2009 as I was disappointed in my team but this time we tried our best but we were just not good enough. Always next year, if someone else can knock them out then maybe we might stand a chance.
  22. Well we all knew it! How else could Qatar have got the 2022 World Cup after never qualifying for it
  23. Going to so many gigs I've seen plenty of decent talent around but its just that the autotuned R&B is the 'fashion' right now and basically something needs come around and kill it off like The Strokes did to all the 'Nu-Metal' stuff. They were American, yes but a lot of british bands broke through after that. At least I hope all of this is just the current phase anyway because its lasted longer then I thought it would! The Pitbull's song at #1 right now is a complete joke imo. Radio 1 has always been the most varied station and the forefront of british music and its needed more than ever right now so I agree with what Mark said above

The problem is: Normal celeb cheats: On the front of the paper for a day if that Footballer cheats: On the front of the paper and everywhere for weeks, blown out of proportion and all sorts of made up $h!t (see Rooney) Thing is if it was someone like Rooney and Ashley Cole I'd say he'd deserve all the $h!t but well Ryan Giggs shies away from being in the papers etc. (apart from football matters) so I see why he imparticular tried to get it but well he shouldn't have got it and instead its just made it all worse! Solution: Don't do it in the first place. Anyway no one seems to care anyway it seems and Gareth Barry has stopped trending on twitter. Has it got to the point where there is so many stories on footballers cheating that its stopped making an impact? Time for journalists to get a life and write some real news maybe? I certainly don't feel the same way that I did in the past when this kind of thing was reported.
  25. They did indeed and I voted for Dave Hodgson (Labour's Michelle Harris as well as we had two choices) I really don't understand why people bring party politics into these sorts of things. Dave Hodgson has done a very good job so far and he's got planning permission to do a very much needed regeneration of the town centre. Many Lib Dem councillors who have done a very good job have lost their jobs over this. Clegg's to blame, yes but I still don't understand why you bring party politics into how good someone does their job. You vote for the PERSON, not the party. Before Dave Hodgson we had an independant mayor for seven years called Frank Branston who said he'd 'just get things done' rather than deal with party politics and he was re-elected with an increased majority in 2007 before he died in 2009.
