  8. May I remind you that a certain fans favourite named Paul Scholes came on the same time  That was actually quite a genius move by Fergie to mask some of the boos for Rooney. Speaking of Rooney he did ok last night and I was really happy for him to shut up the twattish Rangers fans who kept booing him all night and cheering whenever he missed a shot when he scored the penalty.

  10. She looks gorgeous in that video  Then again she is my fave! Didn't think she'd do any solo material considering her voice is a bit weak to be a solo artist (well that didn't Cheryl anyway :P ) but yeah I like u like it!

Oh dear, the guy is just getting worse! And he thinks it was JamesP and not the fact that he stepped over the line AGAIN with racist bull$h!t? I won't even mention how hypocritical his posts in that thread are let alone the :manson: ness of his name!

This is absolutely awesome, we're showing that we're not gonna take any $h!t just because we've been told it must happen due to the 'finanshul crisis' because you know all these students caused it afterall! Or maybe we shouldn't exercise our right to protest or go into a full blown riot when we're getting f***ed over. Maybe we should let the government we elected do what they think is right... ... oh hang on a minute!
  14. Its 2Pac all over again...
  15. Its an entertainment show, not a music show. Katie deserved to stay for 'you know what sod it' alone  This show is about as real as the WWE, its always been a fix, Katie 'knows people' so they're trying to get her to do well, they know One Direction have been terrible but they think if they keep telling us they're the 'next big boyband' then they will be. They always try and fix it so a particular contestant will win and this year it's Cher Lloyd but of course the idiots that take this seriously as a talent show don't believe THAT do they?

  17. Well... Michael Owen comes to mind. I wonder if the likes of Lennon, Fabregas, Wilshere, Walcott etc. will be the same. But Giggs and Scholes seem to be massive exceptions though.
  18. Actually Liverpool (and Manchester United) going into administration was nothing to do with the wage demands (as they're two of the few clubs who CAN actually offer that kind of money within their own means. They both went into debt due to stupid Americans using a loan to buy the club and putting the loan ON THE CLUB. However I do agree with what you said in general as yes some clubs have done that. Rooney was all the fault of his agent putting ideas in his head, considering what Paul Stretford did with Andy Cole I wouldn't be suprised if he set this up to make a bit of money himself, not that Wayne biting the carrot he was dangling lets him off. I think he knows for sure now how stupid it would be for him to leave United but even with Sir Alex Ferguson's guidance (if they make up at all as this new contract maybe used just to put his value up) I still think he's gonna have a Gazza style breakdown soon.
  19. Oh please! NO! The great thing about football is that its the same game no matter where it is. If this happens then kids playing in the park could say "oh we can't football we don't have goal line technology" for example. Plus the best thing about being a football fan is the DEBATES you have about something being a goal or not and did the referee get this or that right etc.
  20. LMAO! Within one minute of each other, that's freaky

  23. Source: Twitter @johannhari101 Vodafone stores shut down in London, Manc, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh, York, bristol protesting their 6bn unpaid tax.Great work! #UKuncut @DarrylMason Tax fraud/avoidance in UK equals £120 billion per year. Welfare cheating? £1 billion. Those bloody dole vampir...oh. #ukuncut @chris_coltrane We're still protesting Vodafone! We shut their flagship store, we're chanting, people are talking with us. We ran out of leaflets! #UKUncut Source: BBC Protesters blockade Vodafone shops in tax protest Campaigners claiming Vodafone has been let off an unpaid tax bill of £6bn have blockaded several shops. Campaigner Ed Brompton said: "This money - £6bn - could be spent on schools, housing and hospitals." But a Vodafone spokesman denied the tax bill reports, adding: "We pay our taxes in the UK and all of the other countries in which we operate." A spokesman for HM Revenue and Customs said of the £6bn: "That number is an urban myth." Four shops in central London and others in Glasgow, Oxford and elsewhere were forced to close because of the demonstrations, sparked by a campaign on Twitter and Facebook. One of the campaigners, Ed Brompton, said: "We've succeeded in closing three shops in Oxford Street and one in Tottenham Court Road. There is also action going on in Manchester and elsewhere. He said: "This money - £6bn - could be spent on schools, housing and hospitals. But instead it is going to go to the shareholders, a few people who are already rich." A Vodafone spokesman said there had been protests outside a small number of UK stores and added: "We temporarily closed some of them and diverted customers to other locations so they were not inconvenienced." He said: "We pay our taxes in the UK and all of the other countries in which we operate. "Reports suggesting that we have an outstanding tax bill for £6bn are incorrect, as this was never the case." The HMRC spokesman said: "We can't comment on the details of the settlement but we can confirm that it was reached by HMRC following a rigorous examination of the facts. It was agreed that Vodafone's liability was £1.25bn and at no point was the liability greater than that. "There is no question of Vodafone having a tax liability of £6bn. That number is an urban myth." The campaigners cite an investigation by Private Eye magazine which they said showed the taxman had dropped an attempt to reclaim £6bn in taxes. The sum purportedly stems from Vodafone's purchase of the German telecoms firm Mannesmann, which was supposedly bought through a Luxembourg subsidiary to avoid paying tax in Britain. The campaigners have also set up an online petition calling on the government to insist Vodafone pay the money. The world's largest mobile operator measured by revenue saw "organic service revenue" rise 1.1% to £10.6bn in the April to June quarter. Last week Vodafone was told to pay a 112bn rupee (£1.6bn) tax bill in India. Vodafone has been given 30 days to cough up the £1.6bn the Delhi government claims it owes following the 2007 purchase of the Indian telephone assets of Hong Kong conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa. Vodafone claimed the $11bn transaction was exempt from tax because it took place between two offshore entities. FUCK YEAH! Its all happening now it seems :D Good on all these people tbh.

  25. Well I knew he'd see sense in the end hence why I just got pissed off at our fans and made a joke about it. Anyway all the crap this week though is most likely due to Paul 'I'm a f***ing c**t' Stretford (his agent) who likes putting ideas into his and his other clients' heads! *sigh* Anyway at the moment he's still clearly not fit at all and is showing .signs of a Gazza style breakdown! I wish he'd stop being so keen to play when he clearly can't and he just sorted himself out! I don't care about him 'banging the goals in' necessarily to make up for it, Ijust care about him just being the Wayne Rooney we all know and love who just plays for the team then I'll stand by him (again) and we can forget this whole time since the Bayern Munich game earlier this year as that's where it all started turning into a disaster. He's much more important than the likes of Ruud and Beckham were at the time those sagas happened but this is just a case of the fact that Fergie needed to get this sorted out NOW and put this $h!t behind us.
