THANK YOU! The reaction tonight from the glory hunting mercenary f***ing fairwether (sp?) fans tonight has pissed me off. (yeah I'm more pissed off with people's reaction that the actual game!) Rooney was right with what he said then again he's not used to getting booed by his fans and funnily enough that team usually perform well :o I remember after 98 when Beckham was getting booed everywhere for what he did and we got so annoyed that we started cheering him when he touched the ball instead! This kind of behaviour is what I expect from City or Spurs fans and funnily enough the majority of the time they underachieve! Funny that :rolleyes: Yes we will probably not win it but if you are a fan of a team then you stick with them and get behind them no matter what! I never lost faith after failing to qualify for the Euros and when we go out I always cry my eyes but that's football! The agony and the ecstasy, hopefully there will be some ecstasy as an England fan for me one day, who knows? Never EVER boo your own players, full stop. Btw is it just me that thinks that Rooney doesn't look 100% fit and that Fabio needs to learn to take him off when he's not performing well? Heskey was again among our best players tonight and should have stayed on with Rooney coming off for Defoe. Joe Cole should have come on as well.

Terrible referee in that game! Klose shouldn't have been sent off, a free kick for a 'high foot' that was actually an overhead kick and Vidic only given a yellow card when he should have been sent off for a deliberate hand ball. :lol:

They are a very good team of course and if there is one team who have never won it that deserve to it's them. The problem is that they always peak to early (especially Euro 2008) and I think it'll happen again. If I'm wrong though I'd be very happy. :P I think tonight showed that France are as bad as people THINK England are in terms of a team that has a lot of good individuals. They have more world class players than we do yet they don't have the huge amount of average players playing around them like we do. Laurent Blanc is a great coach but he has A LOT of work to do to sort all of that out. Anyway Chicharito looks like he's gonna be a decent player for us next season :D

Which is why Argentina will be found out. Their defence isn't strong enough. Unfortunately the Dutch will probably fade out too. So are the Spanish media gonna jump on Spain now? :) Switzerland are lower ranked than Spain and beat Switzerland but after this result it means Switzerland are better than Spain and we drew with USA who are better than Switzerland so this techincally means we are better than Spain who are the favourites so this means we'lll win the World Cup. :o See! We had the friendly against Egypt as a test and eventually we passed it. :lol: This one is a MUST WIN and like USA don't underestimate but we should get a win here. Having Barry should be a huge plus and hopefully they won't mark Rooney out the game like USA did. There are plenty worse teams than Algeria (North Korea and New Zealandfor example) but just don't make the mistakes we made against Egypt and fingers crossed we should be fine.

I'm talking about Rooney's temprement. He's had no problems recently and doesn't have as many stupid sending offs now. I know tonight they were going on about 'oh calm down Wayne' when he wasn't doing anything but remember this is ITV and they can't do sport. They overhyped a one goal lead like they were The Sun! But I do agree with your point there.
