THIS is why we never win a tournament :rolleyes: There is always a big media storm about something that either distracts the players or puts pressure on them. PLENTY of players have had all these 'scandals' that have NOTHING TO DO WITH FOOTBALL and have pulled through and let their FOOTBALL do the talking. I remember how I felt when Eric Cantona did the karate kick on the Crystal Palace (and tbf that was in a football stadium where TV cameras were and everything) but when he came back he let his football do the talking and is still one of my all time favourite players. As people have said in here all the other candidates apart from Gareth Barry have had scandals against them but the thing is if Hargreaves does come back then will he even be in the team? There is even calls in the media for Beckham to get it back when he's not even gonna start. :rolleyes: Rooney will get it in the future but he's not ready yet and we don't need to give the burden right now but especially after the game he had on Saturday I think JT needs to keep the captaincy for the sake of the FOOTBALL TEAM. (yeah remember it's a different thing than his or anyone else's bloody personal life!)

Not even Craig Bellamy deserves a coin thrown at him, we'll get in trouble for that but it'll just be a fine like everyone else gets for that. Having heard this I think they did the right thing keeping it as much like the X Factor version as possible. They won't survive in the music world for the long run but they'll do pretty well as a kind of new Ant & Dec. The problem though is that they were popular with the people who watched X Factor but didn't actually vote (i.e. not the people who treat it like the most serious and important thing in the world and vote some boring winner) in it so will those people buy it? Only time will tell.

I never said he couldn't sing! I said that the recorded version IS autotuned and it makes it look like they spent millions on recording Hallelujah compared to this! He can sing, yes but it sounds like they just recorded this in one take and just autotuned it and said 'that'll do' they never did that beforehand considering how well produced Hallelujah was so I'm just wondering why did they do it now and why are people just accepting it? :mellow: You need to listen to the song again I think, as I mentioned a few times on here now around 2:11 I can't believe they actually kept it like that because I don't think a human can sound like that! :lol: ON TOPIC: Go Florence :D

Because Florence chose to cover it herself and Leona and Alex don't have much of a say in their music hence why they don't have the credibility factor. (see what I did there :P )

Maybe because 1. It was HER decision to record it and 2. It's sung pretty well and doesn't have a disgraceful amount of autotune on it like Joe does.
