  1. Erm.. what makes you think this type of stuff is 'popular' now? Because The Saturdays have had a few sucessful singles? That Girls Aloud are funnily enough slightly more successful because Cheryl Cole is on the X Factor? Radio 1 have to cater for many different audiences but for some reason people seem to think on here that they should base what they put on the playlist as to how well they do in the singles chart and if that happened then everyone would only get one single of the playlist these days. Sales doesn't equal quality and Radio 1 play songs that their audience wants to hear, this may or may not be something for Radio 1 listeners but it's the kind of thing that is definitely for commercial radio listeners alongside the same old songs they've played for the last 30 years!
  2. And the kind of people who watch the X Factor and follow the singers that come from it don't know that this is what normally happens (I don't think many of them browse hype machine  ) as they're not normal music fans really.
  3. I think I must have seen Hull at their peak last year when I saw us beat them 4-3 at Old Trafford, at this rate they're gonna be as bad as Derby next season and a big part of wishes that was an exaggeration! Interesting that at the moment Wolves and Birmingham are both in the top 10 biggest spenders in Europe!
  4. Off The Wall Thriller Bad Number Ones I've been meaning to add to the collection for a while now!
  5. ^ That sounds like the anthem of Reading 09 already :D
  6. LOL I loved how all those people just walked past Helders and Alex on the dancemat
  7. Brilliant article! Read every word and still just find it amazing how they've managed to progress so much in such a short time! I haven't been hyped about an album so much since erm.. Favourite Worst Nightmare
  8. No need to rip-off last.fm as it's been integrated into the Xbox Dashboard in August/September :D
  9. Go JLS! :cheer: The first from the X Factor I've ever actually liked
  10. What's the point when the tracks aren't downloaded to be LISTENED to? When you download a track for a game you download it to play it on guitar, bass, drums or sing it so why should it count towards the charts?

They'll probably end up like me and will be working as bar people or waiters! I graduated last year and have been working in a pub for a while now, I'm starting to do some Admin work voluntarily alongside in the hope that that'll help me gain more experience and I'll have more chance of getting a decent job that way.
  12. Hmm not bad actually! I'm interested to see what she does now!

And I don't see how consecutive economic growths of 0.1% and 0.2% means we're 'close to getting out of recession' when the months before that we had downturns of 3%
  14. According to MJJ Productions, they're developing a game based on Michael Jackson, which will feature some of the King of Pop's most famous hits. The game started development months before Jackson's death, and, as a rep said, “I am sure it will still be released. Michael loved games”. MJJ Productions is Michael Jackson's own production company, it's unknown whether the game is being developed with the help of another company or not. http://www.vgchartz.com/photos/pics/5530899aaa.jpg The game is targeting a late 2009 release "on home consoles", and will feature speech recorded by the musician before his death I LOVED Moonwalker on the Mega Drive and am looking forward to this ^_^ Not sure if I'll get it over Halo 3 ODST, Modern Warfare 2, Forza 3 and Splinter Cell: Conviction though

I felt like a saddo because I felt sad all night because of Paris crying  But then again I always cry when I see a cute little kid cry so yeah.. It was a money making event, yes but at the same time as a fan I was glad to be able to see at least something of a memorial! I still just can't believe he's gone though...
  17. Where's Manchester United 1958? The best of the lot
  18. LMAO! At The Jacko songs going back up  I'm thrilled to see that happen as long as Man In The Mirror stays behind Crying Lightning :P
  19. Wow it seems she doesn't understand her own species  A lot of the time women dress up like that for OTHER WOMEN and dressing up in a short skirt will attract a lot of people dickheads and 'nice' men. The trouble with girls is that 'nice' men are very boring to them because it's too easy to get them to like them and so there's no challenge or mystery! Anyway I think most of these statements she's apparently said are very ignorant and maybe she should listen to more than just mainstream R&B imo because that ain't the same as the commercial stuff.
  20. Wow! I had no idea it would climb so fast :o
