Indeed, look what happened to us in 1992! We looked like we were gonna win that for sure and Fergie said it was the year we were finally gonna win it but inexperience came to play and Leeds took the title. <_<

LIBERTINES REFORM
I wouldn't mind if they reformed with Drew instead of John tbh! I think Drew is quite underrated personally! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much with this though anyway.

Typical Spurs fan then! You probably think Heskey is rubbish and would play 11 attacking minded players if you were in charge with two strikers who can't play together that were selected because they 'both scored lots of goals' Look you've the financial force and the pedigree to compete with the top four just stop spending so much money on rubbish English players and sacking your manager every five seconds! We won it because we're the best TEAM and have the depth to replace players who are injured. Ronaldo is a great player but I personally rate Rooney as our most important player though I have a feeling Ronaldo might stay and I pray to god that Tevez does stay. Also has anyone noticed that whoever wins the title every year people always complain they have the decisions for them? Liverpool in the 80's, Chelsea a few years ago and now us, see a pattern :kink: Oh and we need three more trophies and we'll officially have won more trophies than Liverpool.[/Cocky glouting] I seriously if you keep Alonso and got a couple of key additions then you actually really can do it! The main problem you had this year is that you drew too many games otherwise it's the best I've seen you lot play since under Houllier in 2001! The fact that you've got other players like Alonso, Mascherano and Kuyt playing well as well your rock (by which I mean Carragher, Gerrard and Torres) has made a HUGE difference so I'd be very suprised if we're not the top two again next year.

CHAMPIONS CHAMPIONS CHAMPIONS CHAMPIONS CHAMPIONS :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: So perliminary predictions for next season? Now we're level with Liverpool in titles can we can go ahead or will it finally be Liverpool's season? Most importantly what will become of the Ronaldo saga? Will make the biggest mistake of his career and leave for Real Madrid?

The momentum is with Newcastle but stranger things have happened! Shearer basically said he's staying on in the post match interview. If he can't 'rule it in' as much as he can't rule it out then basically it means he can be persuaded to stay quite easily. He's the only reason why I want them to stay up anyway and fair play to him tonight as two of his subs scored tonight.

With Abidal and Alves not in the final unlike before I actually feel a little confident about beating Barca now though but I still would have rather faced Chelsea even though it would have been a borefest! 2-1 United, Tevez bowing out with a bang :(

Enter Shikari - Juggernauts
9055NLRl-6Y Awesome proper comeback  Is it just me or is the video so low budget and unconvincing it's funny  They could have at least tried to make it look like they didn't hire a room in St. Albans and put some giant photo of a desert put some logs in the ground and put some sand around.

Pete Doherty - 'Grace/Wastelands', Out March 16th
Imo I think it's easily the best thing he's done since Up The Bracket  Deserved to do better but I'm not sure where the market would be apart from the hardcore Libs fans who bought it anyway

If we get Barca in the final I'd be gutted for Fletcher because I'm pretty sure he would play if that was the case :( I do have a feeling it'll be Chelsea again though who I have much more confidence in beating! Nice to see both Ronaldo and Rooney on fire in a big game :cheer:

The fact we have a recession as well might mean Newcastle might even go bankrupt :o I certainly wouldn't rule it out! I say West Brom, Boro and Newcastle but because of Shearer I don't want Newcastle to go down but after going to Old Trafford and seeing such an entertaining game against Hull I don't want them to go either and I'm Mykul would burn me if I said Sunderland. Hull and Portsmouth will be in trouble next season too if they stay up though.
