  1. So apparently healthy food is too expensive but MICROWAVABLE FOOD isn't? Take it from a former student, most of the time because of my lazyness I spent £3 or £4 on Ready Meals for each when I could have for example got some pasta for less than 50p, some sauce for it for 70p and some bacon, chopped veggies and stuff to put in it for around £2 and what makes that even more valuable for money is that I would have enough left over to do it again so technically I could eat dinner for around 60p WHEN I BOTHER TO MAKE IT MYSELF AND EAT PROPERLY. Plus I found something which I really love doing and want to do as a career and even though I'm not having a good time trying to work towards just like everyone else I AM WORKING TOWARDS IT, YOU KNOW GETTING OFF MY F*CKING ARSE! I think I made my feelings and my point clear with the capitals :D They're not even that fat anyway! The daughters look fatter then them to me!
  2. You can hardly compare the amount of European Cups with him and Paisley though! This era is a hell of a lot more competitive then it used to be and it's only now that one nation has managed to dominate it (i.e. England) how many teams have retained the European Cup since it's been called the Champions League? NONE! I do agree maybe he should have won more European Cups but it shows how many top sides are in Europe and after seeing some of how Barcelona played last night I'm scared that we may not be the first club to retain it... But look at the facts, Fergie has been brilliant with bringing young players in throughout his career and to manage to build almost an entire team through youth like he did in the 90's will never happen again! He's won more trophies than any other manager including managing to break the Old Firm dominance with Aberdeen AND win a European trophy! (beating Real Madrid) he's had two great managers come in who have tried to break the dominance of Manchester United in Wenger and Mourinho and they've beaten him a few times but for the second decade in a row he has won at least half the Premier League titles and once he leaves you'll see the difference that he made as we're blatantly gonna fall apart like when Sir Matt Busby left. It's two totally different eras but he took the job to knock Liverpool off their pedestal and it looks if he can possibly do more than he dreamed of by overtaking their amount of titles but in football anything can happen as Liverpool are on top form at the moment.
  3. FFS why didn't he start Rooney? He's our best player and we need him from the start otherwise he was bound to do something stupid like that  Lets hope that all this doesn't result on Liverpool being the most undeserving champions since Blackburn :( (or maybe us in 2003...)
  4. I say another United v Bayern final! We'll seal another historic feat by getting the Quintuple by beating Bayern ten years after we beat them to complete the treble! :P
  5. That was my first EVER appearance in the hate chart :o I'm probably not gonna be very high in the like chart this time though!
  6. LMAO! I'm never sure whether to believe this or not
  7. Last Of The English Roses debuts at #67 selling 3,387 copies! :D I didn't have time to get the single yet myself though :(
  8. If he actually got a run of games where he was actually fully fit and consistantly playing well then he'd at least be in Capello's squad!
  9. At school I remember they had some driving theory test program and I was the only who ever passed and that was only because I had memorised all the answers everyone got right as they were always the same questions
  10. I still buy CD singles :o I always like to get all formats to keep up my collection ^_^
  11. Indeed, I've been able to learn to drive for 5 years but 1. I don't need to, 2. It costs too much 3. I'd be a danger to everyone on the road.
  12. I forgot it was out until you told me on MSN :o I'll pick this up with the Morrissey and U2 album this week ^_^
  13. Tevez and Scholes are not first choice anymore ;) So yeah technically not first choice = reserves
  14. Well they actually left Island Records because they didn't want to comprimise as they basically wanted them to make an album that sounds like Fall Out Boy  So with the last album I wasn't expecting anything commercial at all but '99' was quite a commercial song imo, I'm just glad that Charlie isn't scared to write songs with choruses anymore like he once was but as I said it's not like what Fightstar are doing isn't uncommercial or anything which is strange. Scott: Trust me, he was a fake with Busted, he only joined them to get out of doing more education and considering he was always wearing Sonic Youth t-shirts and all that. I saw Fightstar about a year before everyone knew he was in them while Busted were still around and he was actually willing to be in both bands (Busted were going to take a nine month break and he was going to release the Fightstar EP) but James wanted him to choose between one or the other so he chose to leave Busted. They're part of the cycle that got me gradually into heavier music as when I got into them they got me into stuff like Funeral For A Friend and Bullet For My Valentine then I went to Uni I started to like the likes of 36 Crazyfists, Metallica and Iron Maiden and without him I'm sure I would have gotten into them and yes I was a HUGE Busted fan, please don't pelt with stones. :(

  16. Lol! It was funny being in a pub full of Spurs fans with my white United away shirt with Berbatov on the back  Our reserves did us proud!
  17. I'm suprised no one has mentioned his dig at popstars in his song 'The World Is Full Of Crushing Bores' yet: "It's just more lockjaw popstars, thicker than pig$h!t, nothing to convey, they're so scared to show intelligence, it might smear their lovely career" Think of the countless amount of people that applies to right now :D
  18. ----------------Foster------------------- Neville---Evans---Vidic---O'Shea Fletcher---Scholes---Gibson---Nani ----------Tevez---Welbeck---------- If we're not winning then Giggs, Ronaldo and Rooney will probably make an appearance at some point, I'm expecting us to win it though. Anyway the reserves got us to the final so they deserve to play in the final imo.
  19. Love the vid! :D Good to see him in his Q.P.R. shirt :D The song gets better and better too
  20. 'Tis a bit stupid of him tbh! Then again I'd rather they'd be GOOD and do it. Rumours have Kings Of Leon, Arctics and Radiohead (who are 99% confirmed those rumours say) but I doubt that'd be the line-up as they usually have a heavier band on the last day..
  21. Well the problem with the music industry nowadays is that it's ALL about making money! Acts are manufactured or signed to make money i.e. they look at someone who's successful at the moment and sign or manufacture acts that are just like the current big star(s) of the moment. (Amy Winehouse > Duffy, The Feeling > Scouting For Girls, Girls Aloud > The Saturdays etc. ) Don't get me started on Cowell and the reality shows -_- Record companies not taking more 'risk taking' acts and not giving them a lot of time to develop. This leads to too many people 'playng it safe' which even Madonna does nowadays! These days though you don't necessarily need a record company so it's a lot easier to find more original artists but it doesn't necessarily give them a personality. Even when they do the best ones don't usually make it to the mainstream which is sad really. There are some who I wouldn't call 'boring' at all who are around right now but they aren't really 'risk takers'.

I sincerly hope NOT! He wouldn't suit us at all! We're known for playing exciting football! O'Neil should be our next manager, if not then it should be Moyes (as he's the best Scottish manger!)
  23. Here's the artwork: http://akamai-static.nme.com/images/09210_111426_petedohertysoloalbum.jpg
  24. Actually she hasn't "dominated" really! Duffy and Adele had success as well and got rewarded for it here! Imo they're also both much much better with Adele being my favourite! She's done very well but she's not the 'biggest export from britain in years' when you look at how huge Coldplay are! Come on! Even a lot of her fans have said her album isn't really very good  Plus she didn't really contribute to it so what do you think she should get an award for exactly?
  25. But this is a MUSIC chart though! I've bought a few Comic Relief singles in the past because I LIKED THE SONG and this is certainly no 'Who Do You Think You Are' it's for a good cause but it's easy to just give 79p directly rather than help an awful song that you don't like get to #1!
