  1. Talbot has taken the decision to step away from the company which he has steered through a period of unprecedented change in the entertainment sector, as it prepares to launch a brand new, state-of-the-art data system later this year, following the largest infrastructure investment in the company’s history. The new platform, built under the scope of a new contract with Kantar finalised in Spring 2025, is designed to build on the company’s reputation as a market-leading entertainment charts & data company and further drive its UK and international business, across music and film. Compiling its charts purely from sales and streaming information gathered across all key distribution (or entertainment) channels including all major high street retail chains, independent stores, supermarkets, mail order internet retailers and digital music and streaming service providers. This market research sample equates to 99% of the total UK singles market; 98% of the total UK albums market and 90% of the total UK DVD market. The new Official Charts’ gold standard data system has been rebuilt from the ground up, utilising new state of the art technology, machine learning-driven weighting methodologies and smart insights. Will chart fans notice any difference? Will all the OCC database errors be removed? Will the DVD and Music Video charts be increased for charts before 1994? OCC note on Music Video Chart; The data displayed for this chart goes back to 1994, however we hope to be able to offer deeper historic information at a future point.
  2. If there is a specific chart you would like prioritised, feel free to let me know and I will try to move it up the list. Singles chart for December 12 to 18 December 1963 (for all those Beatles singles, EPs, LP).

My highlight. BEATLES - REVOLVER - 3x Platinum - Album - APPLE CORPS - 27.02.2026 - 09.09.2009 That's 11 years to sell extra 300,000 copies, or about 27K per year or 524 per week. Beatles third best selling studio album after Sgt. Pepper (18xP) and Abbey Road (8xP). But these 2 albums had sales from the 1960s included - Revolver sales only from 1994.

It took 3 and a quarter years to go from 18 to 19 times platinum, so it will take 6.5 years to become 21 times platinum, in August 2032. That's a long time! (Assuming it keeps selling at the same rate).

EDIT [Verse 1] Through the winter's ice and cold Down Nicollet Avenue A city aflame fought fire and ice 'Neath an occupier's boots King Trump's private army from the DHS Guns belted to their coats Came to Minneapolis to enforce the law Or so their story goes [Verse 2] Against smoke and rubber bullets In the dawn's early light Citizens stood for justice Their voices ringing through the night And there were bloody footprints Where mercy should have stood And two dead, left to die on snow-filled streets Alex Pretti and Renee Good [Chorus] Oh, our Minneapolis, I hear your voice Singing through the bloody mist We'll take our stand for this land And the stranger in our midst Here in our home, they killed and roamed In the winter of '26 We'll remember the names of those who died On the streets of Minneapolis [Verse 3] Trump's federal thugs beat up on His face and his chest Then we heard the gunshots And Alex Pretti lay in the snow dead Their claim was self-defense, sir Just don't believe your eyes It's our blood and bones And these whistles and phones Against Miller and Noem's dirty lies [Chorus] Oh, our Minneapolis, I hear your voice Crying through the bloody mist We'll remember the names of those who died On the streets of Minneapolis [Bridge] Now they say they're here to uphold the law But they trample on our rights If your skin is black or brown, my friend You can be questioned or deported on sight In our chants of "ICE out now" Our city's heart and soul persists Through broken glass and bloody tears On the streets of Minneapolis [Chorus] Oh, our Minneapolis, I hear your voice Singing through the bloody mist Here in our home, they killed and roamed In the winter of '26 We'll take our stand for this land And the stranger in our midst We'll remember the names of those who died On the streets of Minneapolis We'll remember the names of those who died On the streets of Minneapolis [Outro] ICE out (ICE out) ICE out (ICE out) ICE out (ICE out) ICE out (ICE out) ICE out (ICE out) ICE out

BPI have changed their address to, https://www.bpi.co.uk/page/certified-awards You can now search for MUSIC DVDs for the first time. The awards now go to 26X Platinum. Can't see a list of the Brit Billion streams artists. Don't like the pop-up list for artists - it is too long. No album cover images or Artist pictures. The displayed lists can be sorted on 9 different ways. Can be displayed as a grid or horizontal rows. Good improvement.
  24. 77. 1967-1970- The Beatles (NEW) 483,000 (t/s 1,330,000) Increased decade sales by 50k (since your original post) yet total sales fell by 600,000. Those are sales from 1994 so original sales from 1973 are presumably not included? 8. Gold- Greatest Hits Abba (20-15-11-12-9) 1,234,000 (T/S 7,117,000) So ABBA have finally overtaken Queen. Wonder does the OCC and BPI know? Over 7m is a tremendous total. Should go 24 times platinum this year.
  25. GreyAsh, What is the name of that book? What was the cut=off date for sales?
