If selling at the same rate it will go to 22x platinum by early December 2024. If sales have been greater recently then it should be 6,600,000 in November. EDIT: left out a "6". Sorry.

The BPI web site has now been updated when you search for an artist or particular song/album. Previously it was around 4 or 5 weeks out of date.

There's one Silver award this week! Need to wait till Monday to find the rest.

On iTunes today, Beatles 1 at no. 45 Beatles 1967-1970 at no. 80 So it will probably flip again this week. Beatles 1962-1966 at no. 121. But I guess it really needs loads of streams to remain in the Top 100 YTD listing.

Beatles 1967-1970 (Blue) re-entered the Top 75 this week. Has this helped it to move up the Top 100 YTD? I suppose Beatles 1 lies beyond the Top 100 positions?

And they are very slow at adding in BPI certs from previous weeks, when you search for an artist. For example, The Beatles All my loving from 23rd August not visible when you search on The Beatles. It displays Help from 2nd August. 4 newer certs are missing.

Amazon have sold over 2,700 copies in 3 variants so far.

Totally annoying policy. Difficult to find top current seller when they include albums to be released 3 weeks or more in the future. There are 4 pre-orders in the top 10 today. Is Rag 'n' Bone Man (no. 1) really "selling" more downloads than Coldplay (at no. 2)? Hard to believe! Why was this policy introduced?

Why are album pre-orders now listed in the iTunes chart? This means all current albums are pushed down the chart. I can't see the point of this move. Some albums are not due to be released until 3 weeks ahead.

Thanks for the extra 51-100 list at the three quarter stage for year 2024. So these albums all sold 65,000 plus up to 94,000. Nice to know!

If this chart were based solely on sales would there be much difference in the Top 5 positions? Or is that just too difficult/impossible to research? Very likely that streams would greatly outnumber physical sales.

The Irish Sun is reporting that Oasis are to play two more nights at Croke Park next summer, claiming that the band are "very likely" to play the venue on August 23 and 24 as well as the already announced shows.

In with a chance? But they are all sold out!! Rumours that more dates will be added.
