Iconic - i am not a fan of people who are fans of artists and can claim them to be legends. Its regular music listeners that will claim her iconic status. Otherwise Selena Gomez is considered just as much a legen going by forums haha Talented - clearly talent does not matter here. Relevant - um....unless you're talking about in the context of the UK which by her sales...she is the less relevant.

Predictions for 2018: 1) Megan McKenna will release a country album and will be flop harder than her #1 itunes single. 2) Rihanna will feature on2 collabs before summer...then release her own single Q3 followed by album in Q4. 3) Anne Marie will release an album....it will go silver. 4) Louisa will release an album in Q4....it will not even go silver unless a single goes top 20. 5) Matt Terry will be dropped from his label. 6) Olly Murs will flop - his reputation isn't what it used to be. 7) Little Mix will attempt another big single in Q3 but it will not what they expect! 8) Grime in the UK will not do what people think it will.....going good now but people turn away from it. 9) Taylor Swift will have singles that are moderately successful....nothing big though. 10) Pinks tour will be huge! 11) Beyonce will surprise release...be a critical success but wont do anything to scream about outside the USA. 12) Celine Dion will release an english album.... 13) Mariah will release an album and it will flop but she will get the x-mas #1. 14) Britney fans will defend the sales of a new album despite being less than the recent Leona Lewis album (I Am) 15) Justin Timberlake will not do a good job at the superbowl and his album will be delayed. 16) Camila will not have a plain sailing successful 1st era....it wont do better than gold. 17) Cardi B will release an album and it will be successful but wont match Nicki levels. 18) Spotify will continue to grow so much so that the OCC change the ratios.

Really? I would not say that Love so Soft is a huge song around the world. The album also underwhelmed outside the US. Her last 3 albums have been successful in the US but not that well received WW. I've said this for years - Kelly will always have a career off the back of the Breakaway album. As a fan of Kelly's work pre 2011, I have not purchased an album since All I Ever Wanted. Reason - poor single choices probably. Lets leave Kelly alone and lets concentrate on Leona and how she has had a better chart run with OMS this year than she did with the entire I Am era hahaha

Leona at her highest Spotify peak of 18 with 390k.....expect a drop as its an x-mas build up song. Cant see many people listening to it in my head lol Any guess of Friday chart position? She has dropped to 83 on itunes already!

Anyone know where Leona may end up charting this week? I'm hoping for a consistent (if not better) Spotify on Monday due to the UK weather....

I dont buy the itunes argument. With sales being so low....a number 1 on itunes is not what is used to be. I mean, Megan from TOWIE had a number one on itunes for a few days i believe and didn't even get a top 40 single. Considering how big the current acts are on Spotify (Mariah is a prime example with over 500k streams a day)...i cant see them getting close to that.

Im happy with One More Sleep getting a better reaction this year (particularly this early). I have went through and could only see the following updates on it: UK - 54 (129,117) Ireland - 74 (8,130) Other Updates: Austria - Winter Wonderland - 183 (2,850)

Does anyone else see the x factor winner not even going top 10?

Im thinking around 15-20 in the top 40. I know the itunes chart isn't a good indicator anymore for chart position but there appears to be a lot doing well on spotify! I mean Leona is doing great on Spotify...she is away go top 50...and her song is about xmas eve lol...can see this one gaining big time this year. I think last year it went to 70 or 71. Deserves top 40 for sure! I think Last Christmas will get a huge bump this year too...for obvious reasons.
