That has stopped now and all are heavily guarded with bullet proof SUVs too. Trump has told Vance that should he be assassinated he is to bomb and annhiliate Iran.

From MSN NEWS. Nigel Farage's hopes of becoming Prime Minister have received a sharp blow after a major new poll placed Reform UK third with just 16 seats. Lord Ashcroft, a former Conservative Party treasurer and pollster, found Reform on 18% in his survey between July 30 and August 3 - its lowest level since 2024. Andy Burnham's Labour led on 27%, with Kemi Badenoch's Conservatives on 23%.

Without looking it up do any of you experts like Jade or John know who sang a balled called Guardians Of The Land in 1998? Reached just No.33. Was just played on Retro Charts Radio. Ballad, Radio 2 fare, wouldn't be played by Radio 1. I didn't know it. Never heard it. Do you know The Groove by Rodney Franklin from 1980, No.7 hit? I didn't recognise it but gives you artist, title, year and highest posiion. Great station BTW, every Top 40 hit from 1952 to 1999, played randomly including Christmas and banned songs. Am more interested in pure physical vinyl, cassette and CD sales than streams. Brothers In Arms was the album in the 80's and 90's to show people new hi-fis in shops. First album to sell a million CD's but it actually sold more in the 80's on cassette. Great album but some say a bit dated now...

Anyone else planning to see this gory horror from Eli Roth coming to the UK on 13th August? Haven't been to the flicks for maybe 20 years but just may go to see this. Right up my street. Think their stuff's second hand and "refurbished" ie any scratches or scuffs removed. I only buy brand new and sealed.

Rose Garden is the best track for me. Reached No.3. in Feb'71 and one of my all-time faves. The Cilla song is my fave by her too. Never heard of the Carly Simon or Gladys Knight tracks. Not UK hits.

Yes two good first policies but as one of the papers said, most single stop bus fares are less than £2 anyway. Here, £1.75 with an Oyster. Daily cap is £4,50. We have free OAP passes anyway now.

You should read what they're saying in the newspaper comments underneath articles about him. Calling him Milibland and an imbecile. Trump dislikes him over net zero so bound to fail they say! Worse FS than even Boris and he was bad. Also never forgetting how he betrayed his poor brother who's actually made millions more than him on the US. And that bacon sandwich....lol.
