A GH is all you really need by T.Rex
  2. Can't see you in last chart Michael so it is correct.
  3. Sometimes it's hard to back them up though. Like trying to answer the question I'm often asked, here and elsewhere, even in real life: "how will Brexit make anything in the UK better?" Well we don't know as we've only been fully out a month. Ask me in 5 years.

Ford wasn't even elected in the first place so I don't count him really.

Any Republican serious about becoming President won't bother next time. There's never been two successive one-term Presidents.
  6. Thanks Suedy. Will do that tomorrow.
  7. Well I read about a lad, well, 22ish who had been nowhere else but for an X-Ray and died from it. So where else had he caught it iif he'd never been even to a shop? Better safe than sorry. The other stuff can wait.
  8. That's why I'm not going anywhere near the hospital at present. Need an X-Ray on my leg and my diabetic eye screening is overdue but have told them I'm just not going in the present climate.

Corrie and Emmerdale are both stopping filming for 2 weeks. No plans yet to cut down on the number of episodes shown. I wouldn't mind them going down to 4 a week though.

Yes I fear that could happen but to what extent I don't know.
  11. The Financial Times reports that the additional paperwork and haulage costs associated with Brexit are expected to add roughly £1.50 to the price of each and every bottle of wine. So, we won’t even be able to celebrate the “successes” of Brexit without paying a premium for doing so! https://www.ft.com/content/2747ddf8-7f6c-4b...40-36d6c4178203
  12. Sky News have a report from Beirut where all hospitals are full to capacity and people are dying on trollies. They had a very strict lockdown enforced by troops but lifted it around Christmas. Now it's out of control. The Red Cross say they've never seen anything like it, even in other countries. :(

Hmm, encumbent VP, very popular although one or two gaffes.

No, many US political forums actually. Those pesky emails. :D Plus she's not a very nice person. The Secret Service said that in their various books by ex agents.

Well I don't want to hark back too much to the past but Hillary did win the popular vote and think the emails sunk her. Was reading some US political forums late last night and that's a commonly held view. I think Biden would have beaten her Trump easily.
  16. Yes I think most do believe like you that Leave did win, apart from maybe those like our Michael who thinks the 52-48 is too close, but they do moan about the consequences which of course is their right.
  17. Sorry but I have to say this. Yet Trump supporters are supposed to accept a result that they don't believe in. It's the same thing.

No because he apparently abused Dianne Abbott.

No it's not and I resent that accusation. Have mentioned Mick before. He's permanently banned from Twitter and Facebook. No it wasn't that close in the end. I think without Covid Trump would have won. Does anyone think Biden would have won in 2016? I think he'd have beaten Trump.
  20. I'm worried as my wife's been reading rubbish online and listening to her conspiracy loving employer and as a result says she's not having the vaccine. :(
  21. Ironically the venue was also used in the daytime for a test centre. Hope they get those who fled and they all get fined. The organiser got walloped with a big fine. Good. They should sit the organiser down and make him give them the names and addresses of all the others - or triple his fine to 30k.
  22. Police broke up a wedding party with 400 guests in north London. Officers found the windows at the Yesoday Hatorah Girls Senior School, a Charedi school in Stamford Hill, had been covered when they arrived at 21:15 GMT on Thursday. The guests fled the scene when officers arrived. The organisers were fined £10,000 for breaching coronavirus regulations, while five other guests were issued £200 fines, police said. I hope they track down all the other guests and fine them. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-55764673
  23. Common Sense rules. :D
  24. Boris to hold a briefing and news conference today at 5pm.
  25. Sounds reasonable to me that.
